Oni couldn't help but laugh. "Well, this has prooved to be quite the interesting battle. Let's go!" Oni shouted, spinning himself upright and landing on the ground. He saw Alexander, and knew his plan. Normally Oni would block with his blade as Alexander's sword came down. But, knowing Alexander for too long, Oni knew better. Alexander wasn't stupid, he knew his way around a fighters defenses.

Oni brought his blade up, horizontally near his head like normal, but a black energy force pulsed around his blade. Not just his blade, his whole body. This dark energy wasn't enough to defeat Alexander's fire blade, but it was just equal enough with it to hold the flames back. Fire, after all, was a force pushing one way, regardless if it were solid or not. And an opposite force of equal strength would stop it's motion.

"Let's see what you've got, Alexander!" Oni shouted, pushing back as Alexander backflipped through the air, and landed on his feet. "Let's see if that training was put to good use." (3)

"Unbalance the scale all you want. Just remember, you're just as liable to fall as I am!" Oni shouted, moving his sword to the side. The shadows shoot outward in one final burst, but just enough to slow Alexander down. Oni's arms were opened to the side, as he welcomed the stab. Right as it neared his abdomen, the shadows sucked back into his body, and he vanished in a puff of black smoke.

Only to reappear behind Alexander. With a rapid pace, Oni stepped forward with his right foot, swinging the blade horizontally again to Alexander's back. (4)

Oni coughed, letting the winds flow his hair to the wind. He had jumped away in time to avoid the inital blast, but he didn't escape all damage. His face was scuffed up, the blast had thrown him into a tree. Oni wiped his lip, feeling no blood. "Nice attack. You took first hit, but I'll have first blood!" Oni shouted, tossing his sword to the side. It landed on the ground, but didn't actually touch it. The sword sank into it's own shadow, vanishing until Oni needed it again.

"DARKNESS DRAGON!!!" Oni shouted, as the shadows once again swirled around his arm. It flaired up, and shot outward, the serphent-like dragon roaring in pure rage and power. It's darkness consumed everything it touched, the air itself. It seemed like it'd consume the soul itself. ((OOC: though it actually doesn't, just appears that way.)) (5)

Oni backed up, letting Alexander land in his place. "Didn't expect that one," Oni said to himself, landing his feet on a tree. Using it like a springboard, Oni shot through the air, high over Alexander's head. He whipped his hand around, absorbing the spreaded Darkness back into a small orb.

"Let's try double the power!" Oni shouted, creating an orb of exact same size and power in his other hand. "SHADOW RAPIDFIRE!!!" Oni shouted, holding his right wrist, as the orb pulsed out a massive amount of black shots, raining down with a quickness at Alexander. (6)

"Well, never seen that one before," Oni said, landing on the ground. "This'll be interesting," Oni thrust his arms forward, darkness shooting out to meet Alexander's attack. The attack wasn't an attack, it didin't push Alexander's blast backward. Instead, it doubled back on Oni, projecting a barrier around him. The barrier began to burn up, turning a red color, though it quickly cooled down. The more darkness in the fire, the better it helped Oni's own shield.

"Let's bring this up a notch," Oni shouted, letting energy flair around him. His hair levitated up, as his body seemed to double in power. His eyes turned a pure white, erasing the pupils to reflect this higher power. Oni stood tall, his hair waving in his own energy. Suddenly, a sword shot out of Oni's own shadow on the ground, just high enough for him to grab it, and tie it to his waist again. "Now I'm ready. Let's begin the TRUE battle." (7)

"I welcome the challenge!" Oni shouted, drawing his sword and preparing. His own energy borderlined his body, protecting him from most of the heat. Then Oni's energy flaired outward, and he met Alexander's slash with a strike of his own. They're blades met with equal force, much to Oni's surprise, and their blades merely being in contact with each other began to spark.

Even their energy began to battle on it's own. Of course, neither side particularily winning. Most energy clashes resulted in a blast bouncing out to the surrounding area. Just clashing swords, they're battle was destroying the arena. Then, Oni began to push forward, taking one slow step after another. He was on the ground, and could push against it much easier than Alexander could while airborne. He was slowly gaining the advantage, but was unsure how long he could hold it. Oni knew the end was coming, and was preparing himself for one final attack. (8 )

Oni realized the power Alexander contained in that small orb before it was even created. That orb alone probably held more explosive power than any one of them wanted. But leave it to Alexander to pull all the stops.

"That's a dangerous strategy Alexander," Oni said, drawing his sword. He would have to use all the power he's trained to achieve to battle against this. "But I'm willing to fight!" Oni shouted, holding his sword with both hands, the Shadow Blade sticking out to the right side.

Oni focused all the energy he had, black aura flowing over his entire body. Oni arched forward, as a surprising color appeared. In the extreme darkness surrounding his body, white wings burst from his back. Pure and strong, they were the only angelic part to Oni, artificially obtained. Black energy flowed over those too, but they remained briliantly white.

Oni gripped his sword tightly, letting the energy enfuse into it as well. He was at his most powerful in this form, without revealing his true form. "Let's go!" Oni roared, as Alexander threw the orb. It spiraled at him, almost turning to an oval from the speed it was thrown. But that's what Oni expected.

He slashed, the Shadow Blade hitting the orb dead center. Of course, just because the orb was stopped, doesn't mean it was being thrown back. It still had it's momentum, and pushed hard against Oni's sword. The blade didn't cut through the orb, and the orb didn't melt the metal or harm Oni. He didn't want that. And that's what the surrounding energy was for. Because of that, the sword and the orb never actually came into contact. It took a lot of Oni's physical strength, and Oni pushed hard against it.

Then Oni noticed something bad. Even though the orb never touched something physical, it began to glow. Much like the sun, the orb released light, which Oni knew was the beginning of a horrible chain reaction. It was going to explode. "NOW!" Oni shouted, pushing harder than ever. He thrusted forward with the help of his wings, and slashed with all his might. The orb flew back finally, and even faster than Alexander threw it. It rushed passed Alexanders head, inches from his ear, and shot out into the sky, and didn't stop until it was out of sight. Probably didn't stop ever.

Oni flashed, gone in an instant. The energy was still flowing through him, like cold gripping death. It was like on an adrenelin rush, he wasn't ready to give it up yet. Not until the fight was over. Next thing Alexander realized, was the cold, calm feel of a metal sword resting on his neck. Oni floated behind Alexander, a firm grip on his sword. "Yes, let's finish this," Oni replied cooly. (9)
