Inuyasha is one of those shows that could (should) use way less filler.
Like DragonBall/Z/GT, Yugioh or Pokemon (Pokemon should've ended 500 episodes ago, really.)
And Naraku suffers from the Rockets disease. When you stick to a single, repetitive enemy for way over a hundred episodes, even if you include the token minions/other villains, it gets old and tiring.
My favorite characters were Kagome and Kikyo. Yep, you can like both. *Remembers the fangirl flame wars that used to spawn off "omg Kikyo/Kagome sucks Inu Yasha should be with Kagome/Kikyo" pointless arguments.*
I kinda lost interest in it by the third time they killed Naraku. Still, I did watch the "final" arcs of the anime (with those Ginyu Force wannabes and "Sailor ChibiChibiNaraku" floating around...) and was quite unaffected by the "ending."
Just like Dragon Ball, the series started off well, had too many episodes and an ending far worse than it really deserved.

i've read all of the manga they have out their so far.. as for the anime, i dont keep up w/ it that well, i do sometimes watch it on youtube though

I stop watching and reading Inuyasha cause it is so darn long! I missed a few episodes then got all lost. I'll still watch it every ovce in a while thought.
