lol personally I wouldn't of minded have school all year round, with less hours per a day. That would of been awesome, and you'd never forget anything really because you'd always be constantly drilled. Personally I think that kind of school system might be one of the best lol.

When it comes to books, I cannot refuse! I usually am a slow reader (Taking in all the words and images it creates in my mind) but when it's a good book, I can finish it in a week or less. My fastest record was threee days. =D

I really like reading books that involve different worlds or paranormal powers, supernatural beings, (Fantasy and stuff) I also love the ones with myths and legends involved (Mystery) And Thrillers and supense books are always one to read. I love a good fairy tale and sometimes I read romance, but it's very rare. My friends are pestering me to read Twlight and I will as soon as I finish the other three books I'm reading...>w<

Ah supernatural stuff, you know I used to read a series about stuff like that in it, haha, it was pretty cool. They have a lot of books out there nowadays to cover everything, and to be able to just find one to immerse yourself in is of great joy. I mean, yes reading slowly is great! Usually I'll read a story pretty quickly scanning over it and getting the general jiff of it, but when I find a book I really enjoy I really take my time on it as I think about all the stuff in my head and sometimes, this includes when I write stories as well, I act out the scenes lol.

Well, isn't this a fancy-smancy thread? First we're speaking about school, and now books! I suppose that's the way it should be because school and books go together, but as far as I can tell, nobody ENJOYS reading textbooks. ( I dunno, maybe you do?)

Anyway, as it says on my introduction post, I have ALL of the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, but I actually like Terry Brooks' books better, I can just immerse myself within the Shannara books. I can read just about anything, but sci-fi action is my favorite genre.

Ohh I love murder myster novels! Like 'And Then There Were none" that was a reallyc ool book in my eyes. I like a lot of those weird nifty books that the teachers always assigned us in class. I think I might end up being an english teacher and hand out those books just because I like them soo much. After reading it so much, if i ever view their homework, at least I'd know if a person read it or not hahaha.

Oh! OH! OOOOH! I've been wanting to get into the Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse books for a while now. Eventually I probably will but with the fourth one comming out i'm going to be a tag along of sorts whee

Let's see... does anyone like Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series? I'm an absolute Fantasy, Romance, and Philosophical genre-type person and so, naturally, I went mad with delight when I read Terry's books. I'm starting to get into the "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" series currently and having some luck - i'm on the second book - while I wait for the last book of the "Chainfire Trilogy" to come out; Confessor. I also like Erin Hunter's "Warriors" series and a variety of Anne McCaffrey's writings.

Ah it all sounds rather exciting, but I've actually have a few...er..one...more ore less question. When you say you like philosophical kind of stories, do you mean ones that just make you think? Lol I know I am a crazy loon XD, but yeah those are kind of the books that really get me, I love those crazy stories where it has this deep meaning and when you realize it, you realize a little more of life. Quite fun stuff, that's what Spell for a Chameleon was like for me lol.

So does anyone here have a book that kind of shaped a lot of their view points around life?
