She realized that she had not thought about what she would like to know. Perhaps a part of her had not expected the hare to stay. Either way, she took the moment to think now. What did she want to know about hares? She searched for something that would be interesting, but wouldn't give Cheshi the impression that she was asking simply so she could hunt hares with more ease.

"Why to hares run at the slightest sound?" She asked eventually, remembering her childhood experiences with hares flashing by for no apparent reason. There had to be a reason, though, hadn't there? She found it strange to think that they would run simply because they wanted to

Cheshi was a good hare to ask about running, but also a bad hare to ask in that she greatly exagerrated the need to flee in her own sad fear of just about everything. She was becoming more trusting, learning through experience what the signs were of a hunter on the prowl and what other signs indicated no immediate threat. Meeting Sunny and a couple surprisingly friendly lions helped.

"Danger," she answered simply, pausing before offering a quiet explanation, "Running is the best defence against.. against.. anything." Cheshi glanced down at her paws. Her claws wouldn't do much damage, her teeth only as a very last resort, her fur would only allow for camoflauge if she was somewhere very white (she didn't know of snow).. avoiding trouble was the best bet.

"Danger," She echoed softly, nodding slowly. That made sense. When she looked down at Cheshi's little paws she could see the claws were made more for burrowing than anything. And she was so white, she would stand out against the savannah landscape perfectly. So running was the best defence for everything. That did make sense. A hare would not be able to do much to defend against an attack, except for running away.

Jiza smiled at the albino hare. "Thank you," She said. She wouldn't keep the hare any longer - she had looked busy when Jiza had interrupted to ask for a chat. "By the way, I've never really ever caught a hare."

With that she let her head drop onto her paws, the sun washing over her and her dreams of white hares.

Cheshi only nodded when she was thanked, not even thinking to reply so politely- any thought that might have come along to remind her of her manners was pushed aside when Jiza said she'd never caught a hare. It was a mildly comforting thought, to think this lion had never caught a hare- but with a slight shudder as she watched Jiza go off to sleep, Cheshi reminded herself it didn't mean she'd never tried.

She watched the dozing lion silently for a couple seconds before looking to where she'd been digging about for a hideaway. Deciding not to continue the venture right here, right now, Cheshi turned off towards home and hopped off.
