My boyfriend got me into M:tG a while ago, and it didn't hold my interest for that long. I played from the Scourge expansion of the Onslaught block through the Guildpact expansion of Ravnica.
Of course because I never took it that seriously I was always in the n00bish red/green stomp/aggro/pump deck phase, except during Kamigawa when I was heavy into green/white.
These days I only play when my boyfriend brings his DC10 deck around at Starbucks or something.

A friend got me into it during scourge and told me to buy a starter deck and some singles to give it a try.
I went full black zombie and totaled everyone, save for a pure white "i deck you" player.
Not bad for a beginner, and it's still my favorite deck.
Haven't played in ages as there's nobody around that plays since I moved.
