Laguna Seca is awesome. I want to drive there one day.

Come to think of it, I'd actually like a mini at some point, an original mini cooper. Sporty little cars.
I never did like the idea of a mini, lol, i live south, were huge duallys roam and 18 wheelers eat Vtecs. . .

you're about to get me started on another interest of mine...

semi-trucks...

random fact: a guy on the east coast tuned a 12.7L Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine to 1,200hp, which is insane for a semi-truck engine. They're built for torque, not horsepower.

No tachometer makes me sad. p.q Please change the guage cluster, or I'll cry. And you don't want to hear me cry.

The GS-R teggy's totally beautiful, though. =D

If I ever swap the engine, I'll change the gauge cluster, but until then, I don't see the point. I always shift at exactly the same speed, I don't really need to know what RPM it's at every single time.

Mh, that's more of a personal thing for me. I don't know why, but it drives me insane to not have a tach (even in an A/T).

Believe me, it did at first, but since then I've learned to shift by feel, and there's something nice about driving a car with nothing on it that isn't absolutely essential. It really drives home that this car is all about economy, and at 40 MPG, it does economy quite well. I like seeing cars that look like and act exactly in the manner they were designed to.

I decided it was time for an update. Expect a lot more of these in the future.

As she looks now.

I need to sand this down and apply more epoxy before I paint the whole thing.

I found this when I pulled off my right signal. I was wondering what that jangling noise was. I was also wondering where that wrench had got off to.

Hopefully next time I update I'll actually have something done. I tried today, but I ran into snags. Project cars hit a lot of those.

funny story about minis. I'm a 6' 5" tall man. So me and my friends (mostly my friends) thought it would be funny to see i could get into the back seat of a Mini at the NAIA. I got stuck and they left me it was not funny. and still to this day i won't even go near minis. They are way to small and uncomfertable for me. That and they get killed by semi's and here you have to worry about snow and snow plows. if you drive a mini here you will get also get your a$$ kicked for driving a car that wasn't made in America and that is so dinky and small.

And I'd still drive one. The threat of a**-kicking doesn't sway me from my love of tiny cars.
