RP 1
Characters Involved:
Itzcoatl Varun and Eloisa Lynn

Trailing up the old dirt path, winding through the trees, you spied a rather comfy spread of a cabin. The dirt path towards the large cabin was lined with old stones. A sign, not far off saying 'Eloisa-Lynn's Fortune Telling Shop' was painted on it as if a child had painted itself. Once you approach it, you have to go up a few steps to the porch where there are 2 rickety rocking-chairs left out, as if nobody had used them in years.

A gentle voice had started up, "Come in my guest," had murmured out. When you entered, the door made a creaking sound and slammed behind you. Ahead of you, a mere 10 feet away was a young woman, sitting indian-style on a plump red pillow. The woman herself can be described as statequese as in being tall and willowy. Her hair was cascading in waves around her shoulders; the front portion was 5 shades lighter than the rest of her wavy hair. Her face had the classic italian features - sharp noise, rosebud lips, and cat-like eyes. However, in that case, her eyes were closed, with tiny black stitchings along the lids, almost invisible to the naked eye.

The young elf (for he was young for his people) came walking in most intrigued by this pleace. His boots thumped a little on the creaking floor boards as he looked around taking everything in including the owner of the shop, or at least that is what he guessed. "Hello there. Fortune teller huh?" His eyes caught sight of some of the more interesting items on the back shelves and it made him wonder. "How accurate are your readings?" He asked as he took a few steps towards the shelves.

"Exactly how accurate you want it..." The fortune teller said as she gently moves a tanned hand over her clear crystal ball in front of her, then moved her head to the side slightly. "...Mr. Varun?"

The silver haired elf blinked in surprise. Ok maybe she was for real unlike what he had originally thought. "Point taken madam. Tell me...do you sell those baubles there on the shelf?" That silver and blue stoned ring had taken his fancy and though he was not sure he ould get it through honest means he would like to have it. He however moved towards Eloisa Lynn. She was as interesting as her collection. His sharp eyes could make out the tiny stiches along her eyes though they almost looked like eye lashes. Taking a seat on the floor opposite of her he leaned in a little. "What kind of things do you do?"

"In what particular object you are looking for? Your heart is clouded with confusion," The fortune teller said as she looked down as if she could see. "I do psychic readings.. I tell what happens in the distant future, to you, with you. But that is only permissible as I have to tap into your aura. If you like.. I can tell you are a unusual one. Not of this lands I see," she said softly. "My name is Eloisa-Lynn," she said out of nowhere, as if to feed him her information.

"A most beautiful name. I am already sure you know my name but for formality sake my name is Itzcóatl. Please call me Itz or Itzli." The man smiled a bit. "Confused would be a good word for it and your are very correct in that I am not from here. I am afraid that I have no money to pay you for your services and though I do like one of those trinkes over there it goes against my morals to take it without consent." He would like it very much but he was a honest sailor if anything else. "If there is a way I might be able to work off the payment for a reading and perhaps that ring over there I would do it most willingly."

"Most don't pay for my services. They are travelling through on little or no money," Eloisa-Lynn said, now idenitifed herself as the fortune teller. "The ..blue ring? Are you sure? That ring carries a great burden upon its owner," she spoke softly as if to hestiate at that moment. "Mr. Varun.. each of the objects you see behind me, carefully stacked on the shelves are laced with dark promises of whats yet to come for its future owner. That is.. up to you."

He looked at her with his vibratant green eyes for he truely was becoming mystified with this little shop and its keeper. "Dark promises? As in curses? How interesting. Yes the blue ring is what I was talking about." He paused a moment and then glades at her crystal ball. "Is there any way to remove these curses?" And besides if he took one of the things would it not remove a burden from Elosia.

Eloisa Lynn then gave one of her rare chuckles. "You're asking the impossible, Mr. Varun. Once a person dies with a certain object, their signature is carried throughout however long the item lasts physically with us," she spoke with patience and gently moves to get up. Once she got, her height became more around 5 feet and 8 inches, giving or taking a few centimeters. "But as I said.. it is up to you," she said once again, the soft shuffle of the skirt lingers against her long shapely legs.

He watched her stand before standing himself. He stood not more then two inches taller then herself. He would be considered a little short and kinda stocky for an elf. "If I take it can I assume that I can not get rid of it until I die?" He wondered why she would keep such things near herself if it was true you could not uncurse them. "If I get that ring may I have a reading as well. Maybe to help me get a idea of where to go from here?"

"Only if you died with the ring on your persons," Eloisa-Lynn said as she extend her hand out, requesting for his hand. "You may have the blue ring. I can tell you have honorable strength within you."

He gave his hand into her's willingly. "I try to at least. You must be a brave woman to have such things near you most of the time. Indeed you must be brave for you look into the future all the time."

Eloisa Lynn smiles faintly as she nods, a usual thing for her to do on many cases. "Tell me Mr. Varun," she said. "Are you always this charming wherever you go?" she completed her question as she gave a slight chuckle in her voice.

"Only when I see a beautiful woman who needs to be complamented." He grinned at her and wondered if he even had a chance. In any case he was not sure she got flatered often and someone like her deserved to be at least once and a while.

Eloisa-Lynn gave no sign of if his manly compliment had flattered her or not. She had become accustomed to those from drunks and others who only wants one thing from her - her body. The fortune teller softly smoothes her soft hands over Itzli's hand, feeling the callouses and the roughness. She then backed away and resumes her regular position upon the pillow. "Come sit.." she murmured as she moves her hand over the crystal ball a couple times as if in a trance. "Your distant future lies in being out on the ocean. Exploring lies in that path too. Your may perhaps find something or perhaps not at all, that goes within you. Your life is blurry as best, but I forsee that someone will be linking to your life, but it will be longer than you expect."
