Hydrofluoric Acid I like Kabuki's face, but he's mean to me D:
He's mean to you, but in truth he really really likes you.
It's like that with all the cranky characters.
The first one I had was Butch and he also kept insulting me and all that, but it turned out that he was the animal that liked me MOST, since he came to give me my birthday cake. 4laugh

Everytime I get someone cranky in my town I dig holes around them and piss them off to no end. xD But I wouldn't mind kabuki being mean to me. He's a cat. xD

I have Pinky's and Monique's, I love 'em both. ^^
Monique's took me by suprise, actually (Pinky's too, but that was 'cause I didn't know about pictures when I got hers).
With Monique I turned my game on at like 1.30am last week to quickly check something and when I she spotted me she just ran over and gave me her picture. :'D
I never send letters or even bother with any townspeople all that much.
OH! I really want Static's and Rocco's picture, though. ^____^;;

Twilight Ilia How do you become best friends with the animals??? I never knew about this... sweatdrop Like, how do you become best friends with Tom Nook?? heart I don't think you can really become friends with Tom Nook. I'm sure he'd be pleased if you paid off your debt to him though.
You can, however, "participate" in "events" where characters like Tom Nook will tell you more about themselves. Theoretically, that could make Tom Nook like you more, but he won't be sending you any random gifts out of the goodness of his heart. Here is a link explaining when the character "events" happen and with who. I finished one with Mable and Sable a couple of days ago.
If you send your neighbors letters with gifts (items) attached, they'll like you more. If your neighbors like you, you increase the chances of them giving you their pictures. There are other things that affect how much they like you, because sometimes, letters and gifts just aren't enough.
I collect neighbors' pictures like crazy. One neighbor I don't like has been trying to move out for the last two days. I refuse to let her leave until she gives me her picture!
I restarted my game a while back, but right now, I have pictures from...

Goldie
Dizzy
Teddy
Limburg
Octavian
Friga's trying to leave, but I won't let her until I get her picture!

I'm working on getting Gwen and Dora's pics, but I'm not quite sure how to get them besides them running up and wanting to talk to you. confused
