Zachary gave a sigh as Flames turned his head the other way. ‘I can’t believe you…’ he thought to himself gloomily as the Torchic proceeded to ignore him again. Zachary sighed, gingerly walking up to Flames. He gave the Pokemon a little wave before kneeling down onto the ground.
“Listen… I know you don’t like me that much, but that doesn’t me you have to ignore me. We’re going to be partners for a long time after all. And that means we’re going to have to work together,” Zachary stated, giving Flames a pleading look. He hoped that the Torchic would at least consider giving their relationship a try. His whole journey would be pointless and troublesome if he didn't have a willing partner by his side. Flames the Torchic

Flames eyed Zachary wearily; quite unsure whether or not he’d be able to trust this new trainer. Sighing, the Torchic reluctantly turned to the boy and gave him a quiet chirp. Flames was startled to say the least when the trainer picked him up and proceeded to hug him.
“Oh, thank you, thank you!” Zachary exclaimed happily as he continued to hug the fiery bird. He gingerly placed the Torchic down and grinned at him. “I guess we should start training then,” he stated glancing around his surroundings. His gaze landed onto a dead bush. Grinning, Zachary exclaimed, “Flames, use ember on that bush!” To emphasize his point Zachary proceeded to point his finger in the direction his partner should be shooting.
Flames gave a sigh before breathing in some air. Gaze focused on the bush, he focused all his energy on bringing up some fire. “Torchic Tor!” he exclaimed before letting out a blast of fire escape his mouth, directing the attack at the bush.

As Seth walked through a dense forest looking at his map (Which just happens to be upside down) He came to a clearing and found a sparkleing pond. "AWSOME! We can train here Charmander!" Seth said as he was looking at the pond with exitment. "Lets start out with something easy. See that dead tree over there? I want you to make it fall ok Charmander?" Charmander looked at the thin dead tree and noded. "Great! now use flame wheel!" Seth shouted. Charmander ackted swiftley and in one blow the tree burst in flames. Charmander slowly got up and kept using scratch on the tree. "Charmander no! You'll get hurt!" Seth shouted in panic. Then the tree fell and rolled in the pond. As Seth rushed over to help Charmander the tree sank to the bottom of the pond. "Charmander! CHARMANDER! Are you ok?!" Seth carried Charmander to the pond and rinsed his burns with the cold water. "I need to find a pokemon center... and fast." Charmander looked at Seth and tried to get up. Charmander then slowly walked to Seth's bag and sat by it "OF CORSE! I have some potion in there." Seth said while running to his bag. Seth pulled out the potion and sprayed it on Chamander. Charmander then got up as healthy as ever and yelled with exitment."Charmander Char!" Seth held his charmander and said "Thank goodness your ok." "ok Charmander. This one will be a little harder. Now do you see that tree stump Near the edge of the pond? I want you to pull it out ok?" Seth explained. Charmander noded and was ready. "Good. now jump off my shoulder and dive tword the middle of the stump and use scratch!" Seth commanded. Charmander did what he said and the core of the stump was now gone."Great. "NOW CHARMANDER! Use ember then cool it off with water" Seth shouted Charmander again did what he was told and the stump was charcoaled and almost breakable by touch. "GREAT JOB CHARMANDER!" All of a sudden, a wurmple appeared from a bush behind Seth and Charmander! Wurmple HP: 20/20 Level: 3 Gender: Female Attacks: Tackle, 2 hp String Shot, Lose one round of attacking Poison Sting, 2 hp, 25% chance of poison (Lose 1 hp every minute after battle, 1 every turn in battle.)

"Now finish it up and pull with all your strengnth!" Shouted Seth. Charmander pulled and pulled and was finally able to get the stump out of the ground. "Good job. You deserve a long rest." There was a rustle in the bushes. Seth turned his attention in that derection. "Who's there!?" Seth shouted. Wurmple quickly recovered and used tackle on Charmander. Cahrmander fell down and wurmple tried to get away. "Go pokeball!!!" Seth threw the pokeball and it hit wurmple and it was captured! "Charmander return!" Seth called his pokemon back to find a pokemon center. As Seth travled further threw the forest he listened to the pokemon play and sing. Finally he found a center. "nurse Joy will you plz heal my pokemon?" Seth asked politley. "of corse. I'll be right back with them ^^" Said the kind nurse Joy
