"That's why boys should exit the room when a girl needs privacy."
Kia shrugged and continued on with her business, working on her legs first and then going upwards as she applied lotion all over.

"You could also give some sort of forewarning before going nude in front of us, yunno." Austin hopped down from his bed, then pulled cameron out of the room with him so he could close the door and leave Kia to do as she would. "Silly, silly Kia..I wonder." Austin sighed, thinking about random tidbits and events that might've occurred within his absence.

"I thought you would have made yourself scarce until after I was dressed. But eh, one naked girl is no big deal."
Kia waved to the both of them as they exited, now moving to put her underwear on.

Austin waited a few minutes to wait until Kia gave the clear for him to enter, then re-entered his room. "Dinner is ready, Kia." Austin left his brother in his room to go set up dining mats and napkins in the bar-table in the kitchen, moving stools to comfortable positions. HE would return a moment later to his room to retrieve his brother, and take him to the table. "Dinner is served~" He smiled lightly as he seated cameron at one of the stools in the kitchen, then took a seat of his own. He'd made beef stew, the way his father'd taught him.

Kia eventually made her way into the kitchen after following her nose, all dressed in her lilac colored camisole and matching boy shorts underneath.
The stew smelled amazing even from within Austin's room, and her stomach growled noisily as it demanded it's fill. She took a seat at the table along with them, rubbing her hands together as she waited to dig in.

Austin smiled as he served Kia a nice portion of beef stew, then followed up by serving his brother some as well. He then served himself, and took his place next to his brother. "I hope i did decent. Please, do tell me if there's anything that needs improving." Austin smiled, then took a fork and began to eat some of his food.

"Thank you for the food."
Kia nodded to Austin before taking her first bite of the stew. He had indeed done a good job with making it because the flavor popped out at her, making her purr with delight after swallowing. Her appetite took over from that point, spoonful after spoonful of stew passing her lips as she filled herself in record time

Austin smiled slightly. "You're welcome." Austin proceeded to polish off a plate, then sighed. He picked up his brother's plate, then his own, and washed them in the sink so that he could palce them in the dishwasher. "You done?"

Kia's reply was a large beefy burp, followed with the rubbing of her tummy and the relinquishment of her plate.
"Mhmm, good grub. You can definitely cook."
Kia yawned and stretched as best as she could in her chair, suddenly feeling restless. She got out of her chair and wandered out to the front of the house, enjoying the warm evening air.

"Thank you, it's nice to hear you enjoyed it." Austin smiled as he continued on to wash the dishes. HE placed drty utensils in the dishwasher, then washed his hands before walking off to take a shower of his own. After a few minutes, he slipped into his room quietly in a towel himself, and changed into a pair of underwear and jeans. HE dried off his hair, then crawled up and into bed. He Stared at teh ceiling silently, thinking about other..things.

Kia spent a good amount of time outside, enjoying the fresh air and the feel of the ground beneath her bare feet as she paced about and admired her surroundings.
It was relaxing and a bit odd at the same time for her, being in such a quiet and cozy environment. Even moreso because of Austin's family. She had none of her own so dealing with one was an interesting experience on its own.
Maybe someday she'd have her own family...
She returned inside and up into Austin's room, finding him in his own bed and apparently deep in thought. She laid down on the bed she had picked out earlier and sighed, glancing over to him
"Your family is nice."

"Thanks, but.." Austin sighed lightly. The truth of all truths about his family would rear it's ugly head right now. "It's more hell than it is heaven. My father can be an absolute a** about the smallest things. My mom has to look to me for reassurance that she isn't doing wrong when my father is yelling at her. My brother adds tension to everyone's daily schedule..and more than that. Since I left for tenshi, everything's changed because my father no longer has a right hand man available at every given moment. Nobody to help him cook, garden, clean up, build, or train with. I hate to brag, but i'm basically his right arm. I mean, sure; he has my mom. But I'm more seasoned in terms of overall familiarity..." Austin sighed. Everything he'd just stated had no real...composure. the facts had no linking, and they were all just muddled up. This would show how sensitive a topic his family was, because it would remain obvious that austin chose the words he spoke very carefully; as to where the above statement was just sort of..sputtered out.

"It sounds like they all depend on you a lot. You're the glue that binds them, in a way. I imagine that things are very tough for you now that you can't be there to support them like you normally did."
Kia sighed and glanced over at him seriously.
"But at least you have a family. With people who care for you in it. Things may not be well now but I'm sure that as long as you care about them, things will eventually work out for the better. Just be thankful that you have something as nice as a family."
Her last sentence came out a little sharper than intended, due to the fact that the topic at hand was a bit touchy for her as well. To avoid saying anything harsh, she rolled over onto her side and bit into her lip quietly.

Austin listened to Kia. Her words were true, and they helped calm his slight unease. He took note of Kia's wording around the phrase 'at least', and made the proper course of reasoning to gather that Kia didn't have a family of her own. Which would explain just about everything; The awkward replies to whole-hearted gestures, kindness from a stranger...They made sense. To receive kindness when your entire life you hadn't. from someone you didn't even know, no less. That was definitely going to be an awkward thought.
"..thank you, Kia." Austin wished that he could hug Kia. It wouldn't be to flirt, or anything along those lines; but what Kia'd just done could only be thanked with a whole-hearted hug. But...With ten feet seperating them, and Kia's small relationship as a new friend with him in the way, he was sure it'd probably be misconstrued as an act of love or somesuch similar happenstance.

"If you really want to thank me, then stay strong for your family and take care of them."
Kia rolled over yet again, this time onto her back as she stared up at the ceiling. This experience had proved to stir up some emotion inside of Kia's heart. The one thing that had hurt her the most was pushed aside as much as possible until now, where she was confronted with that which she had always desired deep down in her heart, unbeknownst to herself.
