Believe me, the guild is going to turn into the following:
1: Someone creates a thread about an anime/manga,
2: Ten people post in the thread about how they liked/disliked it,
3: Thread dies,
4: Thread is revived two months later and gets about three new posts.
5: Repeat cycle from step three until no one cares anymore.

Sir Joxcab what you dont get is that the people who join just post like 1 or two times IF THAT. And how is that going to change with the exact same system, only not on a dedicated topic? I'm a Vice Captain in a Haruhi guild, and lemme tell you, people posting one or two times is a BLESSING there. It won't change any by turning it around into something else.

It needs two be pet out of it's misery. That's exactly what I said in the OOC thread, we're going to turn into the anime/manga boards on Gaia. The PROBLEM here is that we won't be nearly as ACTIVE as the anime/manga board! There's a very sharp difference between a guild and an all-accessible board that's clearly marked on Gaia. The difference with how the guild was before as an Eureka Seven guild is that we'd have long discussion over certain topics because everyone shared a general interest in the show. If we just have the generic title, "Romance and Comedy", what are the chances that we're going to get a LOT of Eureka Seven-obsessed people? Or just anything-obsessed people? Topics won't go anywhere because we won't have enough people with shared interests!!

It's their own fault they join and then do nothing. Even some of the active members are at fault for not doing anything to keep that from happening. It's PEOPLE that cause most of the crap and garbage that ever happens anywhere in the world. A simple object or idea does nothing to cause things, it's the people. Here's an example, Communism. There's a reason why it turned into such a bad thing. The Russians put it to a system that was not compatible with it. Communism would work better if put with an agricultural system, not an industrial one. @Tolly: If you think the guild is dead, then why are you here? EDIT: people are like a catalyst. They make things happen. If they do nothing, then that results in nothing happening.
