Nironia the Lonely Spirit [Q] I don't think you guys get it, though. Kids do what their parents don't want them to do. If there were suddenly masturbation rooms, not everyone would want to masturbate all the time, because parents wouldn't care (if this was ever accepted). Plus, it would help solve the whole teen sex fiasco because sex is less taboo than masturbation. I know I've had the expierence of feeling completely guilty pleasuring myself because it's "Wrong", and you feel signifigantly less guilty when you do it with someone else. Hopefully, a masturbation room would help tip the scale a little. If you can pleasure yourself without guilt, why bother with the risk of STDs and pregnancy? I don't care if it makes people less guilty, kids should not learn about their sexuality until they are over ten years of age. It is sick to see the world pressuring people on sex, but on children? If that is considered human nature, then I don't consider myself a human being. I think of myself as Nironia. Now teens is better, but I still think they are way too young to explore their sexuality. Masturbation should be a personal thing, and I can hardly see how it is taboo nowadays?!? Do we really need more children in this world? NO. So why in the hell do you feel guilty about it? Why are you letting stupid taboos make you feel that way about something that isn't anyone's damned business? All I can say is, is that the world is letting it's human instincts ruin itself. If we are going to push forward and solve problems of society, we can't give in to ridiculously over the top addictions to sex, porn, violence, and other primitive subjects. It will ruin us, and it will hurt our children's chances of having a pure childhood. Children start masturbating when they're around six years old. It's because of people like you and the general populace saying "OMG MASTURBATION IS BAD DON'T DO IT!!" that the taboo and guilt comes from. However, sex is talked about ALL THE TIME. "If you have sex, you could get STDs, or a girl pregnant." so people know signifigantly more about sex than masturbation. Google "daycare masturbation." Almost every website that pops up tells you about 6 year old masturbating and how it is NORMAL and how parents should NOT overreact. Example

I never said that masturbation was wrong. Teenagers go ahead and do it. Anyone over ten.
I'm just saying that at a young age... below ten... it's just creepy. I mean, I like to think as childhood as not worrying about sexuality. It's a complex and adult thing. Just frightening.
I never masturbated when I was a child. I never have at all. Where did this suddenly come from?

Or maybe everyone is just confusing "exploration" with masturbation.
I mean, when I was a kid, I was wondering what my genitals were, so I handled them all the time. Can't say I got any pleasure out of it, but if they consider exploration masturbation, then, we're all guilty.
Point being was the rooms are so masturbation can be private. So if you can't convince your kid to not masturbate(or wait till s/he gets home), then you can say "go to 'the room'" so at least the boy isn't sticking his hand down his pants in the middle where everyone can see.

Well I still would find masturbation in children awkward, even if I was sexual. I've always liked children because they were so pure, so oblivious to the world of which adolescents are introduced to so suddenly. I always thought that they were beautiful because of that. I hope children won't be expected to. It's wrong to persuade a child to do such a thing. Asexuals would have a problem there. Adults could get to an asexual child, and try and turn them around. They may start thinking the other way, that a child that doesn't masturbate has hypoactive sex disorder or something. They'll grow up feeling out of place. Just like a gay guy or girl in a straight world. It just reminds me of Brave New World. There was a part with all these children in the playground without clothes. And what they did was 'erotic play' for fun. The boys were all about it. One of the children didn't engage in it, so they were probably taken to the shrink or brainwashed. I bet he was asexual. Though I can't be sure. All those kids, however, grew up into a sexual world, that was so sexual that it was expected to be promiscuous and have sex. Are world could turn into that. And all the asexual children of the world... would suffer.

Is it only me that finds this scary? And if my English is bad, I blame my book! That is ******** creepy. There is many problems with that. One being that it would generate way to many sexual harrasment cases. Two: *****>: no. you have a bedroom or a bathroom explore there.
