"A herd?" Arod asked raising his eyebrows; both at the question and at the speed that the question was once again direction to him. "Uh...no. At least, I don't think so," the stallion replied; his mind automatically settling on the images of his 'herd'. A slow talking paint stallion with funny markings down his legs, a preppy blue mare and another mare who seemed oddly attired for a soquili. And of course...Elan, the ever noisy hawk.
"Nah, I do not have a herd," Arod repeated as if reinforcing his statement. "Just a few close companions, unless miss Shiori's definition of a herd differs from mine,"

Hmm.. A few close companions.. Shiori thought. She suddenly thought that that might be a good way to spend the rest of her life. Together with a few close companions to spend the days away.
Shiori giggled. It would be amazingly funny to travel with stuck-up weird and mean people, like Samus for example. They would get into fights non-stop! However, stallions like Cualtzin and Arod would be so much fun! Imagine all the excitement and adventures she'd go through! Then, her days would be filled with laughter. Without thinking, she asked,
"Can I join in with your group? Your few companions?" she asked. "Just for a day or two, to see what it's like.." she added.

"You serious about that Miss Shiori?" Arod asked; his jaw nearly hitting the ground as he turned completely around to face Shiori. Arod after all was prepared for another question from the lively mare but he did not think that that would be the next question.
Mind racing again as he once more visualised the slow talking paint stallion with funny markings down his legs, a preppy blue mare and another mare who seemed oddly attired for a soquili. And of course...Elan, the ever noisy hawk.
Definitely not something the mare would like to visit. Why, they might drive her insane. They (especially Thel and Danae) nearly drove him to insane sometimes!
"Miss Shiori, I don't think that is a good idea...," Arod said trying to sound calm. " They; my companions I mean, might not be what you expect,"

Shiori saw Arod's jaw drop. Was it something she said? When he had regained his mind, he had asked her if she was sure about that. Well, anything full of excitement and fun was good for her!
She decided not to push the matter. Besides, it was getting a bit late.
"I'm sorry to say this Arod, but I think I have to go!" she said, her smile changing into a sulk. She wanted to stay with Arod for a little while more, but she had to get home before dark.
"Its been a great day with you!" she said, giving him a little nuzzle on the cheek. She turned around, and trotted off to her home.
