Platinum_Behemoth252 um maybe the reason he didnt sense channeling wuz because the person that killed him couldnt channel...now who is a person of evil alignment that can travel far distances in a wink and could take asmodean by surprise without using the power and has so motivation to do such....OH I KNOW! how about Slayer....for one he is a man that can walk the dream world in the flesh without the power and has stated himself that that is how he finds his targets. so asmodean would know him cause he is the shadow's assassin and would be surprised to see him cause he would immediately know that Slayer would be here to kill him because one of the forsaken decided that him helping Rand wuz a big no no....but thats jst my opinion though...and if you look at it then its a very plausible theory....oh yea this is my first post here....HEWRO GUILD! Hmm. Very plausible.
And speaking about Slayer. What do you think Gitara Sedai told him to get him out into the Blight? There were like three choices possible. Well, for HALF of him, anyway.

Not sure. I've read the books so many times by now. But it was a memory. Because Gitara dies in New Spring after a Foretelling.

Rahvin killed Asmodean. Who the second killer was, I have no idea. And Slayer has already been knocked down as an option. And the quote was, It doesn't really help. But Rahvin killed Asmo.

Gwynnia Rahvin killed Asmodean. Who the second killer was, I have no idea. And Slayer has already been knocked down as an option. And the quote was, It doesn't really help. But Rahvin killed Asmo. Rahvin couldn't have. By the time Asmodean was offed, Rahvin had been balefired out of existence.
"Asmodean was a twisted shape of char, recognizable only from the blackened harpcase still strapped to his back." Page 916 of The Fires of Heaven, just after the attack force arrived in Camelyn.
"And Asmodean, sword held awkwardly and trying to look every way at once in case any Trolloc decided to turn back." Page 953 of the same book. As is the following.
"Balefire. Balefire that burned a thread out of the Pattern. The stronger that balefire was, the further back that burning went. And whatever that person had done no longer had happened. He did not care if his blast at Rahvin had unraveled half the Pattern. Not if this was the result."
"He pulled open a small door, intending to find his way to the pantry. There should be some decent wine. One step, and he stopped, the blood draining from his face. "You? No!" The word still hung in the air when death took him." Page 961 of the Fires of Heaven, 13 full pages after the actual death of Rahvin.
Edit - Ah. I see what you mean now. You MEANT the first death was done by Rahvin. We were discussing the SECOND one.

Alina Sedai Jaconis I would go out of my way to get to know the servents. wouldn't you? it makes perfect sense for him to know a maid. but then again, it could be moghedian. She was around at the time. NO! she was in Ebu dair at the time chasing Nayneve and Elayne...but your close to what i have diduced rolleyes uhh, no she wasn't, cause she was in the dream world, with nyneave, remember, rand and rhavin were running around, blowing everything up, while the two of them were there... so its completely possable that it was moghedian, before she was captured (casue tthat happened like right after the battle)

You forget. Nynaeve made Moggy drink Forkroot. Meaning she would be unable to channel, yes? At least she wouldn't be able to enter the world of Dreams for a while. {Actually? I forgot too. But I have the books nearby to reference.}

I'm in the process of rereading them, so that by the time my library gets the book, {I reserved it to be sure I could get it since I don't like to buy hardcovers that often.} I'll be back up to date on the doings in Randland.
And I saw a web page last night that says there's speculation that Moghedien didn't survive the cleasing of Saidin. But she never showed up at Arindhol, did she? So how could she have been killed?

Graendal was the one to do it... I don't have all the info on hand, but I might be able to find it again. It had something to do with the fact that she is Suroth's new advisor or whatever, and how she was always away from her station...
As for the Asha'man Forsaken, that was Damer I believe, though which Forsaken it was I cannot recall sweatdrop Maybe it was Belal, because Aginor was the only other male channeler I can think of un-accounted for, and he is in a female's body...
Moggy... Nothing truly indicated that she didn't make it out... I think she even remembered seeing the whole in the ground, and then took off.
