i would be pro life if...
women could completely control if they get pregnant or not,
if it was impossible to get raped,
if incest was impossible,
if it was impossible for women to die of pregnancy,
if it was impossible to have a severely deformed child,
if there was no such thing as morning sickness,
and we didnt need prenatal care,
and if our emotions were completely under control during and after pregnancy.
but,unfortunately,none of that will ever happen.
so looks like im staying pro choice.

I just wouldn't.
It's why I'm pro-choice.
Because I believe I should be able to have one if I need one, and it should be legal and safe. Regardless if they're legal, they're going to occur. But with a coat hanger instead of safe tools and doctors.
If you don't want an abortion, then it's your choice. You want to preach against it, go ahead, but don't make my life miserable because I'm allowing you to choose.

Looks like I'm staying on the pro-choice side for good.

I would be pro-life if there was a form of birth control that was 100% effective AND avaliable for all women (as in, all women had access to it, it didn't react with other medications or carry a risk of serious side effects, and it was easily affordable).
Actually, even if that were true, I might still be pro-choice.

....Contraception came out that was infallible, reversible, safe for all women, available to all women, easy to use.... basically, perfect.
Sex education was medically accurate, comprehensive and compulsory for all.
Rape did not exist.
Complications from pregnancy did not exist.
Involuntary and unwanted pregnancy was impossible.
When every woman who gives birth is capable of caring for her child OR the adoption system is fixed completely.
When each child has everything they need to live a decent life.
So basically, when the world is perfect. AKA: Never. To suggest that abortion should be anything but legal, safe, rare, and accessable to anyone who wants it is to deny reality. It's childish, naive, absurd, and cruel.

I would be pro-life if it was impossible to have an unwanted pregnancy or a pregnancy at the wrong time.
Or if I was a complete sadist who went to hospitals and laughed maniacally while women went through labor screaming in pain. Mwahahahahaha!
ninja But...I'm not planing to tarnish the respectability and reputation of the completely insane any time soon.

I would be pro-life if I could control when I became pregnant with 100% accuracy-- to paraphrase Zim, "if my uterus had an on/off switch".
Guess I'm gonna be pro-choice 'til the day I die.

Never-- unless I could control, with 100 percent precision and accuracy, whether or not I get pregnant AND I could also ensure with 100 percent precision that my pregnancy would be healthy for myself and the baby.

And even if allthat became true your conditions don't account for financial, moral, or other unforseen issues that could arise during a pregnancy that would make childbearing/care problematic, and it certainly doesn't accont for the state of the system. Though to be fair, mine doesn't account for that last bit either.
