Ivan stepped into his small shack of an apartment and glanced around. "This'll do." He muttered, pulling his two dufflebags, three large suitcases, and backpack off of his arms, cart, and back. He had packed quite a bit of materials and weapons on the boatride over, including a foldable workbench and precision tools. "This stuff has got to be worth quite a bit... better get some sort of locks on this door." Ivan muttered out loud. The ceiling was high and made of insulation in his room, just the way he had asked. Only aluminum beams and wires held them up. An outline of a ceiling about seven feet below supported several open construction lights with eighty-watt bulbs. "This'll definately do."

Katia walked into McNeely's Cafe and waved at the usual customers. then she went to the back and grabbed her apron of the hook on the wall and got to work, occasionally chating with another employee.

Katia set her tray on the counter just inside the window to the kitchen. "two cups of coffee,' she said, then added, "black." when the drinks were set on the tray she picked it up with great care and caried it back to the couple sitting in a booth across the room.
