Gerbo leans in close to them, and whispers in a low voice.
"Hey i got 150 chips... how much of the crystals can i get from you guys. Your holding right? Common i'm no narc..."
Gerbo then stode up and put a finger in one ear.
"crows nest, over, the bird has hatched..."
looking back at the kids.
"What do you say then?"

((Finally get some time to do nothing but waste it here!))

Bellamin walked through the door, curoius to see what's in store. With his general knowledge of any magi-constructed building, he headed off to the library.
"It's usually in the middle..."
As he quietly searched for some reading, he looked through several doorways. One spell being taught here in perticular, caught his attention.
"Poison death cloud..." He muttered as he continued to walk through the arched corridors...
"Bang!" Bellamin had walked into a black marble piller, falling back onto the cool stone tiles. The sound of the impact; and metal clashing to the ground, sent a extremly distracting cacaphony shooting* through the long winding corridor, and echoing* into many of the class rooms

Hearing the horrible sound echo through the whole complex, Gerbo started tweek-peeking over his shoulder looking franticly everywhere.
"You got the crystals or not! somes coming! hurry!!!"
Gerbo then settled himself after seeing no one else comming.
"Sorry about that... Us Gnomes are a little over the top from time to time. Though if you don't have any crystals, do you know of a teacher or professor that might have a random task that i might be able to do for a few extra ones?"

The quiet girl stares at Gerbo. "Wow... I thought they were kidding when they said how weird gnomes were..."
"Mana crystals are a bit out of our budget," the boy says. "Though if you just want the crystals to buy some spells from the administrators, exam week is coming up, which means that there's going to be some kind of competition for adventurers. The spells will probably be on the prize list."

Firu finds himself in a rather large hallway lined with offices. School is in session right now, so there are several doors, and multiple people are walking down the hall.
A man dressed in all black, but not a robe, sees the confused Firu. "Excuse me, can I help you? You look lost."

After coming back to his senses, Bellamin races back to where he heard the spell mentioned.
"... is an upgraded version of Poison Cloud, the Fireball of the poison spells, as it were. Rather than spreading out a limited amount of poison damage over time as Poison Cloud does, Poison Death Cloud infects all enemies, making it a fantastic spell when grossly outnumbered."
"Poison Cloud was for some reason missing from our catalog of available spells for sale; this oversight has been fixed for the current catalog. Poison Death Cloud itself will be one of the prizes for next week's Survival Tournament. Now, the intricacies of the development of Poison Death Cloud are quite..."
And so the teacher drones on. Very interesting...

"It's always some way to dispose of the undead created by the students for exam week. In the past they've done anything from hunts through the basement to last man standing contests to brawls where kill counts were tallied. I hear that this year's competition will be a team-based one."

Kitai swaggers into the room. "Undead ye say? An we kin fight em all? Sign me up!" She rubs her hands greedily. "And when I win, i'll be sure to be sellin' them crystals, at an... ahem... exorbiant price."
((Mwahahahahaha~ Survival tournament. Just my cup of tea.))

Bellamin continued walking to the library, but his pace was slow, and he gave cautious glances towards the source of his yearning.
"I'll kill for that..."
As he grew away from the class, he was ever more determined to reach the library, mabye there'll be something in there that would help him reach his goals; Bellamin broke out in a sprint towards the seemingly distant stairs

((Geez Gerbo. I could always ask Gonzu if he's willing to pay for my services. But I do indeed have the Taunt ability. And my gargant has Defender. So for the first turn I can use taunt to keep them off of you. Then the second turn I can summon my Gargant and have it use defender. I am pretty confident that I can keep the zombies off.
I don't think I have stunning blow. But I have enough chips that I could just go and buy it.))

(well Gonzu's fireball might do more damage than mine, but I could be useful too.. [/crying to self]. lol i was just joking, plus if your going to have me pay, i might as well just have Regal or Firu join. Though i wonder how many of us get to be on a team... maybee there is a flyer about somewhere...)

((If we can do three person teams we could always have both you and Gonzu on the team. Hopefully you could survive one turn while I get my Gargant ready. I mean really. After that I would be able to pull two attacks per turn.
I wouldn't really make you pay Gerbo. I am just excited that the DMs are running a contest that I would have an advantage in. Because in a war of attrition even the most powerful warrior will eventually be swamped by enemies. You need a mage to clear out the enemies, but they get killed off too quickly. Unless you have someone who can pull attacks.))
