Mister Lewis i used to be pretty picky, but ive actually been more accepting of mainstream bands now although Slayer at their current state dont really hold my attention at all, im sure if i were an eighties kid i would worship them though You just spoke my words. I used to be way more critical of them, but once I got past all the "Slaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayurgh!!!!!" fags, I got into the first three albums, and still appreciate them.

I had a ring tone too on my last phone... I have seen them in concert over 4 times. It was a valentines day present one year from my husband... (before we got married) that was the hook for me. I won't keep you long I will keep you forever...................

[rant] Can someone explain to me why Kerry King has signature amps, guitars, and all the ******** fame? I mean, come on, he's a mediocre player. And He doesn't even write any music, for the most part. Jeff Hennemen wrote the Raining Blood riff, to name one, and just about every other notable slayer riff, as well as all of the solos. So why is it that the rhythm guitarist who doesn't even write most of the rhythms is the one who you see the face of plastered all over guitar center and every where else you go?[/rant]

Hannemen is the genius behind Slayer for the most part. And don't forget Dave Lombardo, that guy is a killer behind those drums. Just purely insane.

Bald head, beard, sunglasses, boots and a gurt big tribal tattoo... it's pretty stupid how he seems to get all of the fame

King writes pretty much all the standard Slayer stuff. The standout songs, like Angel of Death are Hanneman. It's surprising, really, as Araya doesn't really get the fame or anything, as the lead singer is usually the frontman. But, I don't know. I just know that they have slowly become my second favorite band, that I have all the CD's (except Undisupted Attitude), and that I enjoy ALL of their work. Reign in Blood is still the greatest, and Angel of Death is my favorite song of all time.

Haha, I like punk, but I don't think Slayer should try to be punk. I will give it a listen, if offered. 'Bout all I can offer
