Ryuu pulled at the neck part of his cloak. The heat was starting to get to him. It had to of been like 80-90 degrees outside, and all his heavy clothing wasn't helping at all. Maybe I should just take off the cloak? No one will really care... he thought. It was true, many other people here didn't look exactly what you would call normal. Once we get to the picnic I'll throw it away." he decided, wiping the sweat off of his forehead with the back of his hand. "To the picnic now then?" he asked taking a final look at the ocean. It was so serene;so beautiful.

Rikka nodded, noticing how uncomfortable Ryuu looked. "Yes!" she said, hoping that her excitement would only make Ryuu rush, hopefully it would be much cooler away from the beach.

Risa smiled, "Alright slow pokes," she said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "Mee you there."

Ryuu walked up to Rikka and took her hands and put them in his own. "Let's go." he smiled, slightly cocking his head. He began walking, slowly became a little faster. He wanted to get to the picnic as soon as possible so he could take off this heavy cloak. Slowly they left the beautiful scene behind them, hopefully going to a better one. Ryuu had heard that many Sakura trees were at the location on the picnic, which was probably why it was called the Sakura Picnic area.

Morgan walked out onto the beach, the sand slipping inbetween her toes. "Finally, something I can relate to!" She yelled, putting her arms in the air and inhaling the sweet scent of the beach. She took off her shirt, revealing a bathing suit top. Letting her shorts get wet, she sat just close enough for the water to soak up against her legs, then drift downwards again. She was born by the harbor in New York, and the smell reminded her of the soothing waters.

Reigne snuck after Morgan, trying to look as natural as possible. Realizing that his white hair was rather out of place, he frantically started running his hands through it, hoping to turn it the same shade as the sand before anyone noticed him. He stuck out like a soar thumb.

It was rather hot. . . too hot for Reigne's baggy long sleeves and long pants. He had to remember this was a secret mission, and it was not time to be having fun. Reigne sighed, she looked alright. He still felt silly for not asking for her name.

Morgan heard the sound of sand moving under someone's feet, but she ignored it. The sky was a beatiful dark blue, speckled by the stars. Morgan looked up into the sky and saw a bird, soaring over the waves. Looking around, she made sure no one was around, not seeing Reigne. Cupping her hands over her mouth, she made a loud chirping noise, echoing out through the beach.

She looked up, just as the bird landed on her shoulder. She touched the bird's chest and it made a low, cooing noise. "I'm such a freak. But I'm proud." Giggled Morgan, the bird rubbing against her head.

As the bird flew away, Morgan got up, heading for the rooftop.

Reigne sighed, already realizing that she was going to get away from him again. He was however, impressed with the bird. He thought that only woodland creatures, like elves could summon birds to their sides. It took a whole level of purity for a human to do something like that, at least back home.

Shiia entered the beach chewing on her almost finished popcorn. She spotted a trashcan nearby, so she balled up the small popcorn bag and tossed it into the metal garbagecan. The popcorn ball circled around the rim of the trashcan and finally fell on the sand. Another sigh left Shiia's mouth and she walked over to pick up the trash and place it in it's rightful place. As she walked over, the sand made a crunchy sound as she walked over in her boots and the sandy grit began to scratch off the paint on her boots. She gave a larger exasperated sigh and sat down and took of her shoes, revealing her peach colored feet and tiny toes. Shiia reached down and picked up the small ball, then placed it inside the can.

She set her sights to the waves. The tide ebbed in and out in a rythmic fashion and the waves broke on the touch of the sand. The ocean spray sprinkled over all the sand and then made way for the foam to wash over the sand and retreat. She sat at the shoreline and allowed the water to wash over her long legs. It felt wonderful anf rather soothing as the foam crept up and down her long legs. She wiggled her toes and the sand between her toes fell onto the ground. She closed her eyes and relaxed.

Soon, the water became chilly and the foam glowed a bright white. Her toes had shriveled up and were wrinkled. The once relaxing water, was now almost as appealing as acid. She curled her legs back and hugged them close to her body in an attempt to warm herself. The attempt was in vain, and the ocean attacked with fearsome waves. The wave washed over Shiia's head. The salty taste overcame her and she gagged while trying to cough out the salty brine. The wave pushed her backwards and she was toppled over. When the wave finally returned to the ocean, Shiia was laying on her back, coughing viciously and trying to wipe the salt out of her eyes.

However, the ocean wasn't done. As soon as the first wave retreated, another took it's place. This wave pulled her back towards the shoreline and flipped her over, almost as if the wave was playing with her. Shiia tried to escape the vile ocean and tried to stand, but the once crunchy sand was now soupy and unfit for walking. The sand gulped Shiia's boots and refused to release them. Shiia pulled at the boots to no avail. They were stuck and wern't coming out anytime soon. She turned around and saw another wave being spit out from the ocean. She quickly removed her shoes and ran back from the approaching wave.

The wave showed no mercy and took it's fury out in the boots. After the wave crashed onto the sand, the boots were tossed up into the air and landed right next to Shiia. She couldn't move and only stared as the wave sucked in the surrounding sand before it returned again to it's homeland. It wasn't until the wave disappeared that Shiia grabbed her boots and ran to the changing rooms.

The boots were soggy amd had cups of sand inside. Shiia scraped out the muddy sand. She looked around and saw a dirty towel laying on the ground. She picked it up and tried to dry off the boots as best she could. Once she finished, the boots looked no better than before. It was evident that she would need new boots, but she was content with dry boots as long as they would still protect her feet. She left the changing room with her boots on her feet and walked towards the picnic.

Zhuke

PostPosted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 6:18 pm

Zhuke walked atop the soft, warm sand. The view was incredible, the breeze relaxing, the sun calm; the feeling was indescribable. He smiled while taking a deep breath in, the salty air filling his lungs. He walked closer to the water, so pure and clear.

"This place... is unbelievable." he told Risa while still looking around the beach. "It's... perfect."

Well, almost perfect.

As soon as he said that, a frisbee crashed into his temple on the right side of his head. He fell over on his side with a blank expression on his face.

"What're the chances..." he said while standing up.

Either great misfortune was with him or great coincidence occured as another frisbee found its spot on the other side of his head, knocking him over again.

He breathed hard while having an annoyed expression on his face.

Risa bent over Zhuke, an angelic smile across her face. "Ah, that was amusing," she said, giggling with hysteric laughter. "What are the chances!" she laughed more, repeated Zhuke's previous words.

Risa laughed, "What are you, a magnet for misfortune?" she asked. She loved the hot sand under her feet, and the salty smell of the ocean, a scent that would linger in her clothing for days. "Or something?"

"And that's my fault...?" he asked while getting up on his feet, looking to the sides to make sure nothing else was coming his way. He sighed in relief and walked towards the ocean waters again.

Zhuke suddenly found his face dug into the sand again. He had just tripped over a rock, which happened to be coated in sand and blended in perfectly.

"What a convient place to put a rock..." he said, his voice muffled while his face was still in the sand.

Risa stepped over the rock, and laughed even harder than before. her chocolate eyes filled with tears, watching Zhuke lying stunned in the sand. it was all very amusing, how clumsy and unfortunate this boy was.

Risa held out her hand, still laughing a little. If she laughed anymore, she was sure to get the hiccups. "I'll help you up," she laughed, risking hiccups. "It's no fun lying in the sand like that, is it?"

"Nah I'm fine, Love it down here." he replied sarcastically. Still, he held his hand up and grabbed her hand and pulled himself up. He wiped the sand from his face and brushed his clothes off, only to be swatted in the head by another frisbee, putting him back down in the sand.

"This is really getting old..." he said, standing back up. As he stood up, he glanced left and right to make sure nothing was coming his way. He looked down in front of him, making sure nothing was dangerously placed. Suddenly, a frisbee hit him in the back of the head, putting his face back in the sand. Finally, he broke out. He grabbed the frisbee and threw it down the ocean, surprisingly very far. He pulled his G18 out and shot it down, the frisbee flaking into the ocean. He spun around while clutching his fist.

"Learn to throw damnit!!" he yelled off in the distance, not knowing who threw it. He took a deep breath and let it out, trying to calm himself down. He spun around and walked towards the ocean again, which he still wanted to get a closer look at.

--Time Lapse--

"What.... the hell." he said bluntly, his face back in the sand from tripping over yet another rock.
