(haha sorry, my other character's unconcious and shade's is up on a cliff or something like that..x.x)
Xavier let his tounge loll out as his tail started to sway, his eyes burning with curiosity as he watched the man. He knew very well that the captain could see him, but to him that was the best part. Mischeif passed over his features as he got an idea of how to toy with the man a bit as his tail swayed more. Xavier slowly lowered his head and made a deep growl well up in his throat, making sure the man heard him before letting it trail off a bit so he could see his reaction.

The captain trying to talk to this shady thing barely noticed the growl until he started to think about the other pair of eyes he look around and noticed a dragon so he decided to ask the shadow thing if it knew of any dragons in the area... he was very clam in asking this he had seen scarier things before

Xavier couldn't help but mentally pout as the man remained unaffected. He huffed a bit before laying down, a bit irritated that he couldn't have his fun. Well what fun is this? Wouldn't normal people be terrified? he thought before answering his own question. Yes, yes they would. This man is no fun at all. he thought as he rested his head on his front, almost hand-like paws.

All humor suddenly vacates the mans features. "Dragons? I know of no dragons in this area. Perhaps I should make an appearance." He slowly sinks into the shadows on the ground and rises from another cast by the ship behind the captain. "Now tell me captain, is the cargo intact? Oh, and where is this dragon you mentioned?"

(sorry for posting fast..x.x I'm just not really doing anything else right now so my posts are alot quicker than usual)
Xavier blinked, lifting his head a bit to see the other man. Hmm... he thought, becoming rather curious about him after losing most intrest in the captain. He then made a soft snort as the man gave away his hiding spot, his wings stretching a bit before settling against his back once more. He ratted me out. he though, making another huffing sound out of irritance.

The man looks over at the dragon hidden in the woods. "(Thinking)Interesting. I wonder if I can unnerve a dragon." A sudden cruel smile comes to his face he starts to wisper whithout moving his lips. The sound of his voice reaches the dragon from behind. No one else seems to hear it. "Hello friend, come for a light snack? Or perhaps your just out for a morning stroll? In either case I will ask you to leave. These particular individuals belong to me for the moment. Should any remain after I leave you are welcome to them."

(haha, most likely yes xD Xavier's pretty mischevious but the captain irritated him x.x so that might cause problems? Or for the leftover crew~ Then you've got shade who's practically asking him to have his fun after he has a turn lol, much like putting fuel on the fire ne?)
Xavier lightly rested his head back on his paws, watching the man who was speaking to him curiously. He was amused by his comments and interested in the strange way he spoke to him without the other hearing. "No thank you, I just ate. Alot." he said before belching lightly, unable to help myself. "And no again, at the moment I'm far too lazy to be walking unless absolutely necessary." he said as he lightly rolled onto his back, stretching until he heard a few pops come from his spine. Xavier relaxed, laying sprawled out under the trees. "You can have them, especially the captain there. He his borish, I've lost intrest in him. And he pointed me out." he said flatly as his tail moved against the ground. "But perhaps I will have my fun with the leftovers later.." Xavier fondly thought of different ways of frightening the people as he lazily laid on his back.

His smile grows wider as he concludes his business with the dragon. He then turns his attention to the captain. "No need to worry about the dragon for now. I will take the cargo if you please. Would you like your payment now or later?"
