I'd kill to see some of Mello and Matt in this but it's highly unlikely due to the fact that this is supposed to be in "Ryuk's point of view" and I know that Ryuk never saw Matt and saw little of Mello (if he even did). Highly unlikely to see any more of those two. crying
So what I'm thinking is that all we're going to get out of this is more of Light and L having super-smart discussions. It's nice and all but I'd love to see something of my favorite characters who we rarely get to see/hear of.
Unless anyone has anything they could throw out that could give me hope of there being at least a bit more of Mello and Matt in this? sweatdrop

There were too many scenes of the second arc characters that were taken out in the anime. ]: Mello didn't even say "I'm always second." Considering the added-in-ness in episode 25, I was really hoping they'd give Matt and Mello's relationship more.. uh.. symbolism v_v With an anime-exclusive scene or something.

Why Dorothy and Toto went over the rainbow: -- {SONATA} --While I'm also pretty excited for this-I mean, it's from the POV of Ryuuk. It will be hilarious-I'm also wondering:
If they had the time, resources, money, etc. to create a three-hour recap, then why didn't they use that to make the second arc more in-depth? :/ It seems kinda like saving a fish from drowning when there's a person fifteen feet away from you flailing in the water (Weird metaphors FTW!). To blow off Auntie Em!

I wish it was a normal recap instead of something through Ryuk's eyes. I mean, sure it'll be interesting but I think we've seen it all before. Light's Kira, L knows Light's Kira, they use super-smart reasoning to try and dupe the other. Blah, blah, yes, we get it. I mean, I'm a fan of Light and L both but I do like other characters too and I dislike seeing the same thing over and over again. I was also really hoping they'd add a special scene with Matt and Mello in it because I at least consider their relationship important, whether it's through just seeing it as "friendship" or anything else some people come up with. I have a feeling I'm going to be quite disappointed with this three hour movie thing. I really wish the guys who are making this thing could research a little bit into the fandom. I'm sure if they did they'd find out how many people are fans of Matt, despite him having little to no screen time.

There's been a rumor going around LiveJournal that there's an official picture of Matt without goggles on (people who have seen it have claimed that he has "ice blue eyes"). I'm willing to guess this picture (which you can get only if you have a Japanese phone and follow the instructions here where they send the picture, or as other have claimed "flash," to your phone along with others) is from the new movie/episode thing that is coming out on August 31st. If this is true, I suppose then that we can expect some of Matt in it. xd *cough*and if anyone gets that picture of Matt, should it actually exist, please post it here or send it to me, kay? *cough*
