Axel watched as Seleba closer against him. Seleba, like his old friend, made him feel like he did have a heart, and it gave him a weird feeling, but it was good. Sighing, Axel softly pet Seleba as he just looked up in to the sky, but then something came to mind. 'Hey, Seleba. Why do you like me?"

She looked at him, surprised at the sudden, odd question. "Why? Do I need a reason?" she said in a puzzled tone. She tried to think of one anyway, and stared off into the distance with a thoughtful look on her face. "I guess...it just feels good to be with you." She said eventually. She shook her head at the futility of trying to express such feelings, then looked back at him. "I don't really know what to say. Some things you just can't put into words, you know?" Then she kissed him on the cheek.

Axel nodded as he cheeks flushed a light shade of pink. He did expect Seleba to kiss him out of no where, and he didn't know what to do. To averted his gaxe away from her as he coughed lightly. "Um, yeah I know what you mean..."

Selaba couldn't help giggling. For once he was the one who was avoiding looking at her. She rested her head against him again as she said, "I'd ask you the same question, but I expect the answer would be similar."

Axel returned to petting Seleba, eyes still avoiding her. His light blush was now gone. "Yeah I would be." Axel yawned as he put his hands behind his head and fell back on to the ground with a smirk on his face and eyes closed.

Selaba lay down beside Axel, still cuddled against his side. She rested in silence for a moments, listening to the wind in the trees and far-off birdsong. She glanced up at the sky again, then spotted a cloud with an interesting shape. "Hey, look," she said pointing at it, "That cloud looks a bit like a flying Ryu, don't you think?"

Axel was just about to close his eyes for a few minutes of rest, but Seleba's voice stopped him from doing so. Scanning the sky he found the cloud she was talking about. His face held a look of confusion. "Ryu? I've never seen or heard of one of those, well maybe I have, but it is not comming to me. I've seen a Farfall though, since Ri has one."

"You've never seen Grandpa's?" Selaba asked him. "He has a pale blue Ryu named Niklau. next time we see him I ought to ask him to show Nik to you." She scanned the clouds to see if there were any others in unusual shapes.

"Hm" Axel thought back to the first time he met Seleba's grandfather. He didn't remember seeing such a creature, so he guess he never did. "Nope, can't say I have,but it doesn't really matter." The red head looked back up the sky. A glare from the sun was bothering him so he put the hood of his robe on, which made him remember Ri questioning him as to how he could fit all his hair under his hood, which in turn made him chuckle at the memory.

Selaba heard the chuckle and looked at Axel, not sure what had prompted it. She glanced around the area to see if something in the area could have made him laugh. Seeing nothing in particular that would cause it, she asked, "Is something funny?"

"What?" Axel propped himself up on his forearms. "Oh oh, nothing. I was just thinking about something that's all. Nothing important." He waves a hand as a sign of dismissal of the subject. "So~ what shall we do now?"

"Hmmm," Selaba mused she looked over at Axel as she thought, then after a moment or two found her mind wandering. She quickly said the first thing that came to mind, hoping it didn't seem like she was staring. "Well, it's rather warm out. Want to go swimming?" she asked him.

"Swimming? As in swimming in water? The Liquid stuff?" Axel stared at Seleba with a bit of shock and confusion on his face. He really didn't have anything bad against swimming or water, but something about it bothered him. Axel stared down at his gloved hands and hoped nothing would go wrong. "Well, if you really want to, then I guess I don't mind..."

Selaba could see his discomfort at the idea, and quickly said, "We don't have to it was just a suggestion. If you'd rather not, do you have a suggestion for something else we could do?"

"Well, no not really. Though if you want to swim I could just sit by the lake and watch if you want." Axel rubbed the back of his neck, hood still on, as he looked away. A feeling of discomfort in his stomache.
