Ah cool! I really hope zelda turns into shiek, that is me best character! I really can't wait to play.

My guesses are that the main characters are still there and some of the hidden characters too.

Heres a couple more from the offical site:

The ones most people are not sure about are:
- Pichu (too similar to pikachu)
- Roy and/or Marth (very similar to each other and the new Ike character)
- Falco (similar to fox)
- Game-and-watch and Ice climbers (havent been overly popular and are from out dated games)
- young link (similar to link, hasnt been in a game since N64 unless you count windwaker)
- Ganandorf/captian falcon (both similar however, they are both featured in recent games so there is hope for both of them)
- Dr Mario (very similar to mario, not sure if they still make Dr mario games or not)
- Ness (Nintendo had originally planned to remove/replace him from melee but changed there mind because the game was to far into production)
- Jigglypuff/Mewtwo (do the fans really need that many pokemon? they have been very popular in the past though and jigglypuff is from the original N64 game)
- Sonic/tails (the most requested character according to nintendo, however, they are not nintendo characters)

Sonic is SEGA (aka the ppl that made PSU), Nintendo=mario, Sony=crash(but they sorta abandoned crash cry ).

From what I can tell nintedo is being careful to release characters we already know about first. I assume the new and third-party characters will be shown closer to release. Nintendo wants more attension payed to there first-party characters at the moment, and they want the hype of the new characters closer to release.

Hey I did the math, at one character a week (the rate that they currently are going), they should reveal 18 more characters before the release. woot! that plus the current 14 means the there will be around 32 characters in brawl. 10-7 being new characters.

Well the original game had 12 and melee had 25 so brawl should have more characters than melee or it will be a disappointment.

They will definately have colours. How else would more than one person be able to play as the same character. What I am hoping though is that they expand what they were starting to do with melee. Inside of just changing colours of characters they should change the appearance. (like with samus make each colour a different suit, or link a different tunic from twlight princess.) They did this with pikachu in melee. in the original game he only had the party hat but it came in three colours. In melee they were three different types of hats. Hard to tell though cause they havent said if they will support more than four players in online mode.

details: he doesnt fight but can use three different pokemon (think one pokemon but the press down a and and it changes to a different one. sorta like zelda/shiek. In fact the same button combo.) fyi the three pokemon are squirle, ivysquar and charasaur.

Im not a big pokemon fan anymore but this means three new brawl characters and that makes me happy!!!! mrgreen mrgreen
