Uh oh! She wasn't ready yet! Guin was still working on standing up again! She'd just hit it back until she was standing.
She had no idea that was how the game actually worked.

Kitsu smiled and hit it back. The little one had great reflexes for her age!

Why was Kitsu hitting it back? Was this what their game was? Oh! Fun! Guin giggled and hit the ball again, unfortunately the hit made her lose her balance again and she was sitting on her bottom...again.

Kitsu giggled silently, knowing the water would make the fall not hurt, then she hit the ball back again, having a lot of fun! She adored babies, and Guin was at the top of her favorite list!

She was in the middle of getting up when the ball came back to her again, only this time she wasn't ready so it just bounced off her head. Man! Why was she sitting again? And what had hit her? Guin blinked and stared at the ball going back to Kitsumai, flapping her little winged arms like that would help her stand again. This was fun!

Kitsu laughed silently at the confused look that crossed the girl's face, turning to happiness. She knocked the ball back softly, wondering if the little girl would fall down again.
"Kitsumaaaiii!" Walter called from the side of the pool. "We're gonna go soon! It's lunch time!"

"Guin, it's time to go get your sister." Crescentia called, watching as the ball that was coming back to her bounced off the girl's head again when her attention was drawn away by her mother. Oops! That was totally Crescentia's fault. At least she wasn't breaking up their fun! Walter had called out first.
"Bu...bu..." Guin pouted, wading over to Kitsumai and clinging to her again. "My Ki'su!"
"Aw, you can always see her another time! Even she's going to have lunch with her family! You don't want Sera to feel left out, do you?" Guin frowned and looked at the ball, then Kitsu, then her mother, then the little boy who'd called out to Kitsu. Well...she didn't want Sera to get sad...
Fiiiiiine. Guin sighed and nuzzled her face against Kitsu. It was like an eskimo kiss! Only..she couldn't reach the other girl's nose. "Bye bye, Ki'su!"

Kitsu hugged her back, leaning down to kiss her forehead. She would definitely see Guin again!
