Starly watched as she flailed about. He gave her strange look.
"What are you doing?"
He then poked at her while she was still transperant. Her ectoplasm was reacting again. He took a mental and watched for a moment.
"How about...
Hmm...
Your ectoplasm would be a good test."
Another glint of intrigue filled his eyes and she stared at the ghostly Numa before him.

"YAYAYYAYAYAY ESCTO PLANSMA! Wait..whats a dat? Ecto plamiee stuffies!? Whow. Look i ghosty again." She said softly and intrigued with her own body for once. She put her paw through her stomach and giggled. "Ehhh that tickles!!" She giggled more and took her paw out. She gave him a smile and then leant up to his face.
"So whats a esscto plasamn?" Her eyes went big filled with wonderment. She was so excited for what they could do. The countless adventures!! Testing! What did he have in mind!?

Starly gave another look of evil intent as a smile graced his beak.
"Well, ectoplasm is what your body is composed of. It is the main substance for most any being of supernatural nature. However, I think we should first collect a few items to spark our interest for tonight. Then when day breaks, we can venture into the Candy's land and see what they have to offer us.
After all, they are only good as specimens and nothing further."

"I see dearie. Wells lets get started." She padded and floated just enough to get in front of his face. Their nose would touch if she was solid but her ghostly form stayed there; floating.
Clapping her paws together but they only went through each other. She lent a little away his face just in case that 'space' thing wnet in to effect but she didnt have that unless some big numa took her in their maw =.=... She squirmed just a bit and floated in front of him. Waiting on any string of word to their adventure. Happily.
"I has an ectso plasman!" She snickered lightly.

Starly watched the ghostly girl before him as she phased in and out of tangible space.
'Hmm... where to start...."
He trailed off in an odd pondering for a few minutes. Lost in thought as what he could use his "unique" assistant for. Then an evil grin covered his face as he looked at her.
"Well, we could start by disecting a few candy numas. I'm lacking information and data on their internal capabilities..."
He looked at her for a moment more and was lost in thought again.
"That is, if you're interested in some dirty work."

"Candies!? We LIVE in candyland !!" She exclaimed! Beatrice could help her gather the candies. Or Yoru since they were both good at things like that.. And she would never use her hat for anything other than her head. It was her thing... But thinking about how she would gather candy- She thought of how nice it was to be around another pocket.
She didn't belong to either coffee nor candies. It was strange. She was torn between the two.. Her family was mostly candies.. and she had met coffees but didn't know the difference other than their smell.
Her paws circled around. "Hmph. Well I could gets me some candies ;D for yea. Tis easy easy DEARIE!!" Exclaiming- totally hyper and happy of this effort in proceeding to adapt to others. "Ish can duuuu da dirt'i work dearie ;D "She fixed her hat with her loose paw.

"This will be a special task for you to complete..."
His eyes turned dark as he pondered what this may lead to.
His mind was entranced by the idea of what he could manipulate with this new data. Hopefully he could one day get back at that obnoxious October. His blood boiled at the thought of the dastardly taunter.
However, he was soon brought back to reality with the task at hand.
"What kind of candy should we start with? I haven't familiarized myself with the different substances of this forest."
He stared off into space and his focus was on her red jewels. They would make a horribly wonderful team.
Another wicked grin crossed his face...

She patted her paws together. "Yesh yesh ;3 tell ish! Can't wait dear one!" She fixed upon her hat again as her jewels shined. They glowed sometimes; since she was rather almost in point to disappearing. She settled herself down to the ground. Though. She was never FULLY on the ground. She hovered only centimeters above the ground. She HAD to! Since well.. She was sorta dead.
She patted her hat looking around the forest. "We have licorice ;D thats the candy that mostly all my family doesnt like. Except for yoru-chan, Bea-chan, and Arma-kun! then after cotton candy!" She tried to step on the ground but she only was pushed back centimeters away. Oh well. She turned away and started floating away. Trying to look around for candy she could possibly gather wth her small paws.

Starly watched as she lowered herself slightly towards the ground. He then pondered on her mention of licorice. It seemed the most abundant considering their surroundings.
"Licorice will work nicely. It is very prevalent in these woods and it will allow us to work in secret since none are too fond of it's flavor."
He paused for a moment with a distant look in his eye. It would be a long time before his research was done. He became slightly uneasy about the amount of time it would take for him to complete this experiment. However, at the realization he hadn't finished what he meant to say, he snapped out of his trance-like state.
"Do you know any large sources of licorice?"

"Hm? Yesh! WHY OF COURSE I DOS! LICORICE SWAM!" She exclaimed, having been wandering there for quite sometime but never made it to said 'swamp'. Or the 'swampy river' is what Beatrice had told her one day.
"There ish lots dar ne!" She turned solid again and took up his paw, with a big smile on her face, a sly one at that but happy. Rushing her ability to fly around to max. Swirving everywhere and quickly! (Humming bird style) When they past the clearing; that was between coffee and candies... She thrushed herself into a hulting stop. Looking at the swampy region from the spot where she stopped. Looking blankly at it as if she were contemplating whether or not to lead her numa compainion in... It was a dangerous place indeed.. though Muu knew no bounds to danger.. she was it. And lived it pretty happily.. Then she looked to the side.. where the path to the graveyard was..

Starly gazed intently at the entrance to the foreboding swamp. He could sense that this place was the center for childish happiness or frolicking. It's dangerous aura seethed out to any who dared to enter. He looked at Muu for a second. He knew that they would most likely face little harm; however, their combined small stature could cause problems if the situation got ugly.
"Have you transversed these lands before?
....
...
I sense great despair from this place...
...
And I really like it!"
He bellowed out a loud laugh and gave her another dark grin.

Since she finally stopped her quickness. She looked at him. "Ahhh... Well dearie..." She started and got a little nervous for saying this..
"Well deaire.. err.. Umm... I havent ventured too far in 'er ...
As fars I wents iz my brozas graveyard home. Datz bout' itz deaire.." She said, a seat drop to the side of her head, as she blushed hard against her purple cheeks.
She floated close to him and took his arm, floating behind him.. Her head went low.. letting her hat sink more in front of her. "I sorry ;;;"

His voice became sharp and eyes turned cold. He wasn't one to run away from a good potential experiment.
"That's shouldn't hinder our progress...
...
Let us approach the anticipated spot..
..."
He moved closer through the entrance of the eerie swamp. A strong and distinct smell surrounded him. He gently kept his arm around her's in an effort to show a different side of himself without revealing any emotion.
"Let us begin..."
Another evil smirk crossing his face.

She never was particularly scared of anything. In fact. How she showed she was scraed was by over coming it with an evil snicker... or try to obtain the scare for herself.
But-... a shiver came down her spine.. sadly she only knew the outside. Almost of no help to the pocket- but when he equally took her arm. Her ears went up inside her hat. Looking at him then she gained that little bit of confidence to keep going. For now.
"Ah-um dearie. if yeas needs me to do somethings you tell mez ok ne! I wants to be of help.." She said in a low voice but equally ment it. Searching as the smell of swampy licorice filled her nose. Well. Pockets weren't really all candy- and they couldnt be coffee.. so the smell didn't really bother her nose. As any other smell happened.. blinking at each space that her red and yellow eyes could acquire. "Oh! THESE!?" She pointed to a smaller swampy area with chucks of floating licorice! But it bubbled.. and bubbled..

Starly moved closer to the bubbling goo as it came into view. He lacked a central connection to reality which attributed to his lack of concern for most anything. This one trait gave him the necessary mental capability to perform and aid in some of his less than admirable experiments. While he had not had any momentous occasion to cause him to feel a lack of concern for his own actions and the world around him, the small pocket numa did know that it would take a great deal of pain or excitement for this bubbling mysterious pit to strike any fear in him.
"My assistant, does this particular goo and licorice appear to have anything worthwhile in its composition that would aid in our Candy or Coffee experiments? ....
....
I wonder if this would attribute to any kind of evolution to the baseline Numa species ... ?"
