I like your tank. I almost got electic yellows myself but then ended up with bumble bees and red zebras. Cichlids love thier little caves. heart

Nice Tank. Next time try to take pictures with the lights out outside of the tank and obviously no flash. Sometimes adding a different light source from the top to balance out the flor. lights or Hal. lights also helps.
Overall I like the layout of the tank and distribution of the rock. Have you found that the fish mess with the gravel???
Continued good luck!!

nice tank setup, but i'm a little worried about your stocking choice. not to sound harsh or anything, but if you leave that yellow lab alone, one of two things will happen: either it will become so frightened at being alone, it will actually become your most agressive fish and beat the crap out of your other fish, or your other fish will kill your lab. i keep labs, and that has happened to me while i was experimenting with them. (however i always returned the others to my tank if things got bad) when keeping labs it is safe to say that your should have at LEAST 5 for that size tank. also, you should have more labs than any other fish in that tank. i don't know much about your other fish, because i keep mbuna africans, but it is safe to say that labs should have the greatest number in the tank. sorry if i seem harsh, but sooner or later you would have found that out yourself. sweatdrop

I decided to shut it down and convert it into a mudskipper biotope tank. Info and pics at some point will be in my Lighting for Mangroves? topic.
