At the finger snap, several musicians came from upstairs and started playing for the guests, strings quartet, Strauss Igniz Vecna was standing on the stairway, smiling
"Lord Covenant wishes you all enjoy your stay, I must apologize on behalf of him, for he shall take a bit longer to come down, in the meantime, please remember that most of the servants are here to serve you all!"
Strauss smiles again and goes upstairs, as the quartet keeps playing

Watching the musicians come downstairs and head into the main ballroom Raven turns to Gairwin and takes her hand, "Why don't we forget the drinks for now and go dance for a while?"

Gairwin turned to Raven after watching the musicians descend the graceful staircase. "I'd love to," she answered with a smile.

I take Gairwin by the hand and lead her into the ballroom where we get lost in each other's eyes as we twirl around the room. It seems as though we are the only ones here.(It really does biggrin ) I can't take my eyes off Gairwin's beautiful dress with it's skin tight bodice and plunging necklines

In the meantime, Strauss is quickly moving and walking among the servants, whispering to them, giving them instructions, Strauss was walking with a smile on his face, he was basically, a perfect looking man, except for an odd scar that would cross his forehead, Strauss kept on moving as several servants came from downstairs, at Strauss' sign, a round of pyros exploded outside, enlighting the night with colorful fireworks

At the sudden explosions happening outside, Raven is racked back into reality, trying to focus on what's happening. Raven and Gairwin move, hand-in-hand towards the windows to watch the beautiful fireworks with the other guests.

0ogii The girl looked up, meeting the woman's eyes and giving a smile. "Me? Oh...I'm alright...thank you ma'am," she added. "I'm just not used to so many people, actually..." she confessed, sighing, "and I've only met Alexander Covenant once or twice before." Elana shrugged, the frown dropping a bit but still visible on her face. She looked up to the music again, but Elana tore herself away from it to gaze at the woman's gown. "Oh, pardon. I'm Elana Moure Time."
Lady Yuna smiled and gave her a bow. "Greetings Ms. Elana. My name is Lady Yuna Fang. Harpy of the Price of Spain. It is a pleasure to meet you."
Lady Yuna took the drink from the servant. She took a slip of the wine. " That would be all, servant. I will call upon you when my glass is empty."
She turned her attention to Elana. "Oh, I see that you like looking my dress. I love this dress so much. Also, looks great, for a Harpy of the Prince." She was about to speak again but the banging sound made her jumped abit. "They should give us a warning before lighting up the fireworks. Oh well, I just love the colors, if I do say so myself."

Gairwin is entranced by Raven's beautiful gray eyes as they glide across the ballroom. A secret smile graces her lips as she absently plays with the fine hairs on the nape of his neck.
She took notice that those beautiful gray eyes she adored never raised higher than her chest. Some women would be offended, in fact she'd be one of those women normally. However she had fretted over what to where to the ball and was unsure if Raven would like what she had finally decided on.
Not one to normally wear dresses, Gairwin was a little uncomfortable in the black dress she was wearing. The low cut neckline showed more cleavage than she cared for and the restricting corset made breathing a little difficult.
However, all the little annoyances were easily forgettable after seeing that gleam in Raven's eyes.
Aww... you guys, now my post doesn't fit. xp

Raven turns to Gairwin sadly and says,"My dear, I must step out for a while, but I promise to return as soon as possible."Without further explaination, Raven hurridly walks away

He was gone before she even had time to answer. She frowned at his departing back and she wondered what the man was up to.
Gairwin sighed and turned back to the fireworks but didn't really see them. She was lost in her own little world.

As the music keeps on playing, suddenly, the environment in the room changes, in spite of the string quartet playing, the footsteps on the stairway could be heard, Alexander Covenant was coming down, passing his pale hand over his forehead, pulling gently his hair to the back, a grim smile appears on his face
"Welcome..."
Immediately, his aspect changes, looking more human, still a black haired one, but more filled with life
"I hope you're enjoying the gathering so far, please, make yourselves at home"

Lady Yuna heard the change in the air. Her head now turned toward the stairs, hearing the footsteps of a man, Alexander Covenant.
So that is the gentleman that invited everyone to the Ball. I just hope to meet this gentleman and thank him for the invite.

Alexander looked around, pleased, and bowing slightly before his guests, he turns around and slowly walks towards Lady Yuna, taking her hand gently, and kissing it softly, bowing before her
"I am glad you could make it, welcome to my humble home, is everything of you satisfaction?"
