..Rp Transcript.. Suboshi-sama Siaru quietly stalks his prey.Carefully placing one hoof in front of the other, he slowly advances on the unsuspecting victem. FINALLY! Attempting to leap on the poor beetle, Siaru ended up getting himself tangled up in..well, himself. Dissapointedly, he unraveled himself and watched the beetle scurry under a fallen log.
Oh well, there's always next time.. Perri Indiya Dai watched the young centaur from the shadows, wary to approach. You could never tell what centaurs would do. This one looked safe and clumsy, but-
Flee, his guardian for the day, spoke in his ear. "What a sweet little boy! Let's go say hello!"
Before the cervitaur could stop her, the deer girl stepped out into the sun, smiling and sitting near Siaru. "Hello! I'm Flee. The boy behind me is Daithi. What's you're name little one?" Suboshi-sama Siaru jumped slightly at the arrival of the girl. Tilting his head to the side slightly and sticking a few fingers in his mouth, he stared at the girl for awhile, before tiliting to the side to see around her and stared at Dai for a moment also.
"Siaru." he said, voice slightly muffled by the fingers in his mouth. Perri Indiya Flee was a good warrior, but she was not the queen of subtlety. Dai stood and stalked forward, looming over the other child. Inspecting the little one, he crossed his arms over his chest. "Are you a centaur?"
Flee tugged playfully on his tail. "Be nice and sit down, Dai." Suboshi-sama Siaru looked up questioningly at Dai, before looking down at his legs and over his shoulder at his tail. Looking rather confused, he looked back at Dai.
"...yes...?" Perri Indiya Dai stuck his nose in the air. "Well, cervitaurs don't associate with-"
Flee swept his legs out from under him with a well placed arm, silencing his haughty statement with a hard sit. He'd clearly been spending too much time with her brother.
"Now Dai," she admonished, smiling at Siaru, "You are going to be nice."
Ruffling the boy's multicolored hair, she stood. "I need to run back home to check on a few things. You two behave yourselves. Dai, come home when you're ready."
He opened his mouth to say he was ready to go now, but thought better of it. No matter how cheerful Flee was, it wasn't wise to argue with her.
"Bye you two! It was nice to meet you Siaru." Flee smiled and disappeared into the trees.
Daithi looked over his new companion. "How old are you?" Suboshi-sama Tilting his head to the side even further, Siaru watched with interest at the current going-ons around him. Waving to Flee as she left, Siaru pondered Dai's question.
Staring absentmindedly at Dai as he continued to think, he eventually shifted a bit, before removing the fingers that were stuck in his mouth and holding up three dampened fingers. Perri Indiya Dai nodded, pointing to himself. "I'm seven. That's four more than three."
Not having any idea what to talk about, he took some blueberries out of a pouch and munched on them thoughtfully.
"What does that mark on your arm mean?" Suboshi-sama Replacing his fingers back in his mouth, he looked down at his arm. Shrugging, Siaru let his gaze wander around the clearing.
AHA! Gaze fixated on the log, he saw the beetle, his former prey, start to cautiously crawl out of it's hiding place
"Beel." he said, pointing at the log. Perri Indiya Dai turned, looking at the log as indicated. All he saw was a bug and a piece of wood, neither of which could be called 'beel.' "Beel? What's a beel?" It dawned on him. "You mean the bug?"
Standing up, the young taur stalked slowly towards the log. Crouching in front of it, he slowly raised his hands, reaching out towards the beetle while trying not to scare it. He paused for a moment, completely still, and then clapped his hands down on the log.
He shouted in triumph. "Hey! I think I caught it! Come see!" Suboshi-sama Watching with fascination as Dai approached the log and beetle. Grinning largely as Dai called him over, he hurrily got to his hooves and trotted over to the log. Perri Indiya "Okay, I'm going to move my hands a way so you can see-" Dai's words turned into a howl as something bit into his finger. Hissing, he yanked his hands away, the now free bettle flying up into the air. Cradling his hurt hand, Dai glared at the retreating bug.
"Stupid insect bit me! Now I have to go home and have it looked at by Perri so it doesn't get infected." He nodded to Siaru, "You're brave to go after that beetle. It's mean. Be careful when you hunt it and don't get bit! I'm going home now. See you later."
Dai turned and galloped home, straight into the sympathetic arms of his caretaker. Suboshi-sama All of his attention was riveted on the spot where Dai's hands were. So, as such, he was incredibly suprised when Dai let out a loud howl. Jumping a few feet in the air, he looked around, seeming to expect a large monster ready to eat him.
Instead, he was rather dissapointed to see the retreating form of the beetle for the second time. Listening to Dai, he nodded, and then waved at his retreating figure.
The beetle still on his mind, he began to walk back home.
He'll be back, though. And when he does, that beetle better watch out...

Daze crossed his arms over his chest, rolling his eyes. "Do it again, Dai, and this time get it right."
The little stag frowned, moving back to the beginning of the kata to try again. He hated getting lessons from the older boy, who was a perfectionist and quick to criticize, which was the reason they were working together. Flidais had recently reviewed what Flee had taught the boy, and been dismayed to find that he knew the basics of each step, but not the true form. Declaring her daughter to kind to ensure Daithi learned things properly, the cervitaur's training was given over to Daze, much to both male's dismay. They had begun working together yesterday, and it had ended in both charging off in a huff. Today wasn't shaping up to be much better.
Daze had little patience for children and had no wish to be working with Dai on his excercises, but his mother had commanded it and he was loathe to disobey her. Flidais had been rather... stern about how yesterday's session had ended, and so he was determined to see this one through, even if his student was a clumsy oaf with four left hooves-
"No!" Daze shouted, throwing his hands up. "That's wrong! Can't you do anything right?"
Dai stamped a hoof, crossing his arms over his chest. "I can do plenty of things right when you're not here."
"That's too bad, since I'm the one you have to make happy."
The cervitaur frowned, starting the kata again. "I wish Flee was here."
Daze huffed and rolled his eyes. "Me too, since that would mean I was free. But she was a bad teacher, so-"
The boy's eyes narrowed. "What did you say?"
"Flee was a bad teach-"
The older boy tried to finish his sentence, but the wind was suddenly knocked out of him and his head was spinning from smashing into the ground. He began to fight back without thinking, but was thwarted by sharp hooves and small, swift punches. Feeling a large blade at his neck he froze, waiting a moment for the world to swim back into focus. When it did, he was incredibly suprised. Daithi was planted on his chest, all four hooves being employed to pin Daze's arms and legs. The boy held his father's knife to his neck with both hands, his arms shaking from the weight of the weapon. Daze raised an eyebrow.
"What's all this for?"
"You said FLee was a bad teacher."
"...so?"
"Take it back!"
"Why should-" the knife pressed harder into his neck. "Okay, okay, I take it back."
Mollified, Daithi put his father's knife back in it's sheath and climbed off of his captive. Moving back to his original position, the taur serenely resumed his practices as if nothing had happened. Daze eyed the boy speculatively.
"You know, that attack was pretty good."
Dai ignored him, concentration on his movements.
"But you're messing up your katas again. Hmm. Maybe you don't have the proper motivation?"
"What do you mean?" Dai asked, exasperated.
"Close your eyes."
The taur looked skeptical. Daze sighed and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Look, do you want to become a warrior or not?"
Dai nodded, and obediently closed his eyes.
Daze smiled a little. "Good. Now, start the kata over, but this time imagine beating me up while you go through the motions."
Daithi did as he was told, and began to run through the fighting motions. With eyes closed in imagination and concentration, the boy didn't realize that Daze hadn't said anything about his progress until he finished, starting at unfamiliar applause.
"That was great!" Daze practically beamed. "You did them perfectly! Good job! We have to show this to Flidais."
Dai bounced. "If you tell her how I did it, do you think she'll let me work with Flee again instead of you?"
Daze nodded. "I hope so! Here, want to learn a trick?"
The taur child nodded eagerly, and the two males fell into amicable teacher student mode for the rest of the lesson. It was the nicest they had ever been to each other.

..RP Trancript.. Perri Indiya Daithi walked over to the Siaru slowly, looking worried. "Are you okay?" Suboshi-sama Siaru nodded slowly before managing to roll back onto his hooves. Seiei "Nuuu!!!" Passes out from lack of air Madness_insanity She stared blankely at Rio, "Rio otay?" she questioned sofly. She looked really worried. Madness_insanity " Tickle Fights!" she exclaimed to the new taur, " But we should play oter games." Perri Indiya Dai grinned. "What sort of other games? Oh, I'm Daithi by the way. Who are you?" Madness_insanity "Tempesss," she said, smilling, and looked around, "what about tag?" she asked. Perri Indiya Daithi cocked his head. "What's tag?" Seiei Rio wakes and gets up "Here pretty kitty!" He tackles and huggles her. "Mine!" Madness_insanity "one person is it and he has to tag another person to make him it." she tried explaining it but she had only played it once. She giggled as Rio tackeled her. Suboshi-sama Tilting his head to the side, and thought.
"Who 'it' first?" Perri Indiya "Sounds fun!" He stepped back a bit when the centaur tackled the girl he was talking to, and then got an idea. Darting forward he tapped Riome on the shoulder and the bounded away. "Tag! You're it!" Suboshi-sama "Rio it?" he asked, then realized something. He happened to be in a rather close vacinity to Rio. Not good. He slowly edged away, watching to see what Rio was going to do next. Seiei "AH!! I'm it!!" looks aroung and jumps at Siaru. "I'ma get you!" Madness_insanity Tempest laughs in delight and hids behind a tree, watching them run. Suboshi-sama "Gahk~" was all Siaru managed to splurt out before he was leapt on by Rio.
"...Me it?" Siaru takes a second to digest this, before lunging at Dai. Perri Indiya Suprised by the young taur, Dai tried to jump out of the way but didn't make it. Now it, he cast around for some prey. Seeing Tempest hiding behid a tree, he bounded towards her. Madness_insanity Tempest yelled," Can't catch me!" She lept out from behind the tree and pounced off, laughing the whole time. Suboshi-sama After passing on the unwanted title of 'it', Siaru quickly ran away from Dai, and watched as he ran to the tree which Tempest was hiding behind. Perri Indiya Daithi pounded after Tempest, reaching a hand out towards her tail. Swatting it, he turned and ran off in the opposite direction. "Tag!" Madness_insanity She smiled and bounded off toward Siaru, "Kitty is going to catch you!" Suboshi-sama Upon seeing Tempest run towards him, he promptly turned tail and ran. Ran like he never ran before! He ran past Rio, in the hopes that she would go after him instead. Madness_insanity And it worked! Tempest bolted for rio, lightly tapping his shoulder she exclaimed," It." and ran off. Seiei Rio runs around with the other taurs and tackles Daithi. "Hi! I'm Rio and your my age!" Perri Indiya "Ooof!" The wind knocked out of him by Rio, Daithi tottered backwards a few steps and nodded. "Yes I am. It's nice to meet you." He smiled uncertainly, hoping the strange boy would let go of him. Madness_insanity Tempest came to a stop near the two boys, staring. She smiled and jumped and tackled Rio. Seiei "Kitty came back!!" Rio hugged the kitty again. Madness_insanity She purred, loving the hugs. "Rio it now!" she said happily. Seiei "No Daithi's it!" He smiled and poked the taur under him. Suboshi-sama Approaching the pile of 'Taurs, Siaru knelt down, so he was eye-level with most of them.
"You okay?" Madness_insanity She gigled and jumped off of the pile-o-taurs. "I am otay!" Seiei "Yus!" pulls Siaru into the pile. Perri Indiya Dai reached out and tapped Siaru on the nose. "You're it!" He wiggled, trying to get free. Suboshi-sama "Gah!" Windmilling his arms to keep his balance, Siaru teetered dangerously, before succumbing to gravity and falling on the Taur pile. Madness_insanity She laughed and sat one the ground near the pile. Rubbing her stomach she said, "I'm hungry." Perri Indiya Dai grunted, not enjoying the weight on his back. Slowly, he began to pull himself out. "I could get you food if I could -erk- get out from under this heap." Seiei "Me to..." Re-tackles Tempest and kisses her head. Suboshi-sama With a bit of difficulty, Siaru managed to wriggle his way off of the pile, and was about to help the other up when he saw something move out of the corner of his eye.
"....Beel....." Perri Indiya Hauling himself free, Dai trotted off to the edge of the woods and returned, carrying a bag full of apples. Sitting, he began to cut the fruit into pieces with his knife. "He means 'beetle.' Anyone who's hungry is welcome to eat." Seiei "Rarg!! Fruit!!" He trots over to the fruit and takes a piece. Madness_insanity She laughed and walked over toward the food, "Fank you Dai," she said smiling as she sat near him. "What a Beetle?"she asked Dai while bitting into a piece of apple. Perri Indiya "A beetle is a very hard-shelled type of bug. They look like ovals, and come in all sorts of colors. They have six legs, and wings, and are generally pretty small. Siaru likes to chase them. You have to be careful when you catch them though, 'cause they bite." Dai held out his hand, showing Tempest his bandaged palm. Madness_insanity "Owww, beetle hurt Dia." she took another bite and mumbled, " are beetles preddy?" Perri Indiya He nodded, cleaning his knife and putting it back in its sheath. "They can be. Siaru's is brown, but Perri has a blue one she keeps on the wall at home. It's very shiny, and Perri says it's from very far away." Madness_insanity "It sleeps on a wall?" she said confused, "it not move from wall?" Perri Indiya "Nope. It must like the wall." Daithi shrugged. Perri's blue scarab beetle didn't do much of anything except being pretty, and since the boy liked moving things more he'd never really given it much thought. Madness_insanity She thought about it for a second then shrugged. "Apples are good" she said eating another piece, her tail moving back and forth happily. Perri Indiya Dai nodded. "I like them. But I thought cats liked to eat meat?" Madness_insanity " I eat anything I want," she said defiantly, crossing her arms, "apples and meat." Perri Indiya "I've never had meat before - what's it like?" Madness_insanity " Well, I had fish....................," she thought about it, "it's salty and ..................it's hard to explain but it's good!" she said happily. Perri Indiya Daithi grinned, munching on a piece of apple. "Sounds yummy! I'll ask Perri for some when I go home. Where do you live?" Madness_insanity " There is this old tree in the middle of the island," she began, "it's huge and Mad says someone lived in it before. It is hall...holoh...........hollowed out and it has stairs carved into it. On the bottom is a food room, living room and a small book place. Upstairs has all the sleep rooms and my play room." She grinned, "you should come over to play some time." Perri Indiya Dai laughed. "That place sounds like fun! And a lot quieter than my house, which is more of a barn, really. There's me, and Perri, and Flidais and the twins, and sometimes Brian, who's a reindeer. You don't want to play at my house - there's too many adults." Madness_insanity "It's really quiet, no one is really around but I like it lots!" she exclaimed. 'You haf big family then?" Perri Indiya "Yeah, I guess." Daithi sighed. "They're my adoptive family. My real parents died a little while ago. Perri and the rest of them are nice though, even if they aren't taurs." Madness_insanity "I sowy" she hugged him, "I don't know where my parwents are. Mad has been looking but they hide." Perri Indiya "It's good that you have Mad, then." Dai returned her hug and smiled. "You can visit my house any time, as long as you're prepared for a lot of two-legs."
He stood, gathering up his bag. "I need to go home now, or Perri'll get worried. See you later Tempest!" Daithi waved and bounded away.

..RP Trancript.. Perri Indiya Daithi trotted up next to Tempest, smiling shyly. "Hello again!" Seiei "Gak!" Looks at the kitty who tackled him "I was trying to make you something Silly!" huggles Charlotte Kitsune Tschida continues to smile his mysterious little smile as he listens to Darrin... the older Cattaur is also soaking up what''s left of the day''s sunlight, and he seems to be especially relaxed. "So what do you plan to do as king, Darrin?" he asks, only the very slightest hint of amusement in his voice.
He does look over and give a nod to Daithi, one eyebrow arching slightly in curiosity. "Hmm, a youngling stag... and he looks like a warrior already. No surprise..." he muses to himself. Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin stretches his small body out as he yawns widely. "Ahh....I don''t know....." He blinks at Tschida with a frown etching his baby face. He taps his chin with his finger as he watches Daithi curiously. "is there a new speices of ''taur, Tschida?" He says in puzzled voice Madness_insanity She blushed, "ohhh". She smiled and hugged Diathi, "Hi Dia!" Seiei Riome went back to picking the few berries left on the bush and hurried out and picking quite a few flowers. He startes stringing the flowers together making a small crown. He put the berries on the top of his home made crown and smiled placing the crown on Tepest''s head. Perri Indiya Dai almost backed up at the adult cattaurs nod, but managed to maintain his resolve. Nodding to Tschida, he raised an eyebrow at Darren''s announcement. "You''re going to be king? Of what, naps?" Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin bristles as he jumps up to his paws growling at Dai. "No, I am going to be king of you all! You guys just watch.. I am going to be a king when I grow up and you will regret that you insulted the king" He huffs as he puffs up his chest, looking terribly adorable doing that. Charlotte Kitsune Tschida nods at Darrin. "There are many tribes of Taurs. He is one of the Brightstar -- the stag tribe."
He almost laughs at Daithi''s shrewd remark toward the lion Taur, but he manages to contain it to a low titter. "No fighting in my patch of grass," he says simply, not seeming overly concerned. Ahh, the younglings will have to work some things out on their own... Madness_insanity She twirled around, holding on the crown so it won''t fall off "Thank you Rio," she gave him a quick kiss on the forehead,"It''s pretty!!" She looked at Dia and said between laughs, "That''s funny Dia." She continued laughing at Darrin''s little speech. Perri Indiya The young cervitaur rolled his eyes, imitating a gesture he''d seen Daze use many times. "You won''t be king of me. I''m not going to serve anyone!"
He smiled at Tempest, hoping to have impressed her. Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin frowns to himself as he crosses his arms, glaring at the small group of ''taurs laughing at him. He wonders why they are laughing at their own future king. He grumbles as he frumps down on his stomach glaring at them more. "Bah! They will regret it.... " He grumbles more before he rests his head on his arms and slowly goes to sleep Seiei "...I''m glad you like it!" he kisses her back Harperking Ceryn steps from around the trees where she had been watching the other young ones. This was the largest gathering she had seen, and was a little nervous. Grasping her staff tightly in one hand, she approached the group. Charlotte Kitsune "There are many more enjoyable things to be than king, Darrin... I promise you that. He who holds the highest ground finds the most enemies clawing at his door."
"I am Tschida of the Solace tribe," he says to Tempest and Daithi, offering them a permanently-sleepy smile. Perri Indiya Uncomfortable with Tempest and Rio''s closeness and Tschida''s friendly advances, Daithi looked around and noticed the young female cervitaur on the edge of the group. Curious, he trotted over to her. "Hello! What''s your name?" Madness_insanity "Your so strong, Dai!" she says happily then frowns, "I think Darrin will be a good king when he is older." she said, feeling bad for laughing at him. She reached for Rio''s hand and leaned closer to him, "Don''t you think Rio?" Seiei He takes her tiny hand and nods "Of course!" mumbles "but I''d be better..." Harperking "I am Ceryn," she said. "Harper is my guardian and teacher," she added. Madness_insanity She looks at Tschida, "What''s a tribe," she asked, cocking her head to the side. Perri Indiya He smiled. "I''m Daithi! Are you a deer too? Where are you from? Why haven''t I seen you before?" He bit his lip, trying to contain his excitement. Charlotte Kitsune "A tribe," Tschida says, barely opening his eyes, "is who we are. Our species. You and I and Fuzzy here..." he pats the sleepy Darrin on the head "are part of the Solace tribe. All Cats are." Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin snuffs as he paws at the butterfly that have been teasing his nose. He opens his golden eyes and his eyes goes crossed when he tries to look at the butterfly on his nose. "Hello there.. my name is Darrin" he speaks to the butterfly but the butterfly just open and close its wings. Madness_insanity She smiles, "oohh, so Rio and Dia are in different tribes?" She saw Darrin out of the corner of her eye, and he had a butterfly!!! She smiled and whispered to Rio, "Darrin doesn''t have to catch baflys, they go to him!" Harperking "Yes! I am deer like you!" Ceryn was as excited as Daitha was. She looked at the other cervitaur. He was slightly taller than she was and she noticed he had a knife at his side. Perri Indiya "Neat!" Dai mentally smacked himself. He was a total dork. "Um... nice staff!" Harperking "Thank you. It is my first weapon! I have fun practicing, though sometimes I accidentally whack Harper when we practice." Ceryn wondered why the other cervitaur was so nervous all of a sudden. Charlotte Kitsune Tschida lays his head on his paws, his eyes closing... though he really isn''t sleeping, and he continues to listen to the young Taurs around him. Perri Indiya "I''m learning fighting katas and basic knife utility. Flee and Daze teach me. They''re like us, only they have two legs instead of four." She was really pretty, and Daithi really wasn''t sure why he cared. Storei Duskan, a young buck, looked up from the patch of grass that was hiding his sanctuary inside a hollow log. There were voices nearby...O_o Harperking "Harper is teaching me the ways of the Amazon warriors. That''s what my feathers mean. Staff is what I am best at, but I am learning bow as well. " She idly twirled her staff a little while she talked to him. She had found that whenever she was nervous it helped her stay calm. Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin yawns as he peers up, looking around before he spots a dark ''taur. "O_o another new one?" Perri Indiya "Amazon? You mean the big river with lots of bugs and giant mice?" Daithi had picked up some knowledge from Perri, but there were a lot of gaps. Storei Duskan moved farther into his log. People...People...;0; Harperking "Bugs and mice? Harper has never said anything about bugs and mice. She said the Amazons are all women and they don''t let boys in their villages and that there are lots of great warriors in her village. She misses it I think." Perri Indiya "No boys!" Daithi stamped a suprised hoof. "Why not? Who has the antlers?" Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin creeps toward Duskan curiously Storei Duskan, with duskish eyes opened wide, pressed himself tightly to the bottom of the log, hoping that he wouldn''t be discovered. Harperking "Antler? I don''t think the Amazons have antlers, unless maybe there are some on their masks. Harper said the masks are very important and are passed down from mother to daughter." She sighed a little. "I don''t think I will ever get one since I don''t have a mother." Caitlyn HellCloud Darrin blinks as he peeks down at Duskan while he climbs up on the log. "Why are you hiding from me?" Perri Indiya "Oh. Well, if they''re all girls, I guess not." Dai cocked his head, hearing Ceryn''s change of tone. "Everyone has a mother. That''s how we''re made. Sometimes mums die though, like mine did, but then other nice people take care of you, like Perri for me and the Harper lady for you!"
He smiled encouragingly, hoping to have cheered her up. Harperking "My mother died, too. That''s how Harper found me. I think she would give me her mask, but since she was shipwrcked here I don''t think she has it any more. Maybe she could meet your Perri sometime! I need to go though. I was suppose to be getting some berries for harper to make more pastries for us! She is the bestest cook!" Perri Indiya "Yeah, they should meet! I think Perri knows about masks. Daze says she reads to much." Dai smiled, cocking an ear. "Sounds like I should go too - I think they''ve sent Brian to find me. Bye!"

..RP Trancript.. Perri Indiya Catching sight of Ceryn as he played hooking from training, Daithi trotted up to her, smiling. "Hello again! How are you?" Madness_insanity "Fine!" she said back angerly, "I was just saying it. I can talk to and call whoever I want to cute!" she stomped away angerly, into the forest. Harperking "Hi, Dai! How are you today?" Ceryn happily greeted her young friend. Seiei "Fine be that way! I hope a monster doesn't get you! Wait... Nevermind! One probobly will, then Cheveyo can go save you!" He started off in the other direction. Perri Indiya "Good! Hiding from Daze." He beamed, proud to have answered her question. She was really pretty... his brain stalled, and the young stag tried to think of something to say. "Uh, do you want some dried apple pieces? He patted his hands on his knees, looking around awkwardly. Harperking "Sure! I have a pastry in my bag - we can trade!" She reached into her small carrysack and pulled out a slightly smushed but still servicable pastry. "Who is the new guy?" she asked as they munched. Perri Indiya "New guy?" Daithi looked arouns, finally catching sight of the older cervitaur over his pastry. Man, this thing was good! Chewing happily, he shrugged. "Dunno. Wanna go see?"
Dai trotted over to the older boy slowly, giving Ceryn time to come too. eternaldelusion Cheveyo listened to them yelling, then got up, backing up a few steps. Maybe he'd run into someone who wouldn't kick him, or fight with their girlfriend. God, he couldn't get over that! A kid had a girlfriend, and he didn't! He blinked and stopped moving as he saw Daithi coming over. Harperking Cery caught up with the younger cervitaur, and walked beside him to meet the newcomer. As they approached, she shifted her staff into a defensive position, just in case.
"Hi!: She said as they got closer. "I am Ceryn, and this is Dai. Who are you?" Perri Indiya Daithi found his hand on his knife unconsciously. When did he become defensive by habit? eternaldelusion "I'm Cheveyo," The teen answered lightly. This was strange, he'd been here all his life and he'd never met any of these taurs. He looked at the two curiously. No, seriously. Where the heck were these kids coming from? Was there a heavily pregnant, all species Taur nearby of something? Perri Indiya Daithi inclined his head, mimicking Daze's terse greeting. "Are you part of the tribe, or are you alone?" Why did he want to know this? Was one option better than the other? Huh. Harperking "Nice to meet you. You'l have to excuse the chaos kid there, "she used her staff to indicate Rio, "He gets a little excitable at times." Seiei Rio heard this comment and trotted back "Thankyou but I'm nice! I just don't like mister 'cute' over there!" He glared at Ceryn eternaldelusion "I'm apart of the tribe. Just wandering around," Cheveyo blinked and looked to Rio, rolling his eyes,"For the love of..." he shook his head, shuffling all four feet as he looked between the kids. Harperking "I never said you weren't!" Ceryn snapped back. "I don't suggest you start anything with me either." she added, stepping back to give herself room if she needed it. She turned her back on Rio and addressed Cheveyo again.
"Yes, are you alone or do you have a guardian, too?" Perri Indiya Daithi ignored the centaur, still distrutful of this older taur, not havin had the best experience with older males at home, but Ceryn seemed to like him, so...
"Hungry?" He held up the dried apple pieces from his pouch. eternaldelusion Cheveyo blinked,"Guardian? No. Though, I met this weird human a few hours ago. She was lost," he laughed softly and shook his head,"Is that what you mean by a guardian? A human? I don't like humans." He smiled and took a piece,"Thanks buddy. I am kinda hungry." Harperking "Oh! Why not? My guardian is a human and she is very nice. She rescued me as a baby after my mom was killed by wolves. We were way on the other side of the island then. It wasn't until we met Maia that she even knew there were others here!" Ceryn was a bit confused. How could someone not like humans? Perri Indiya Ignoring the 'buddy' comment, Dai smiled. "If you want more food, you should come to my house. Perri's been baking today, which means muffins, bread, and the possibility of pie."
Trying not to look at Ceryn, he playfully knocked her shoulder with his. "You could come too, if you wanted..." eternaldelusion A dreamy look came of Cheveyo's face,"Pie..." He shook his head and looked to Ceryn,"Oh...well, most of the tribe doesn't trust them...so..." well, that was explanation enough, wasn't it? Seiei "y...you don't like humans? My Mommy's gonna hurt you!!" Riome screamed "MOMMY!!!" And a human pushed through some trees. Stopping to look at the Cevi before looking at Rio. "Ohhh!!" She said and ran over to Rio. "Whats wrong?" Rio pointed at Cheveyo. "He said he didn't like Humans!" "..." She walked over to the older taur she had looked at. "Wow! heart ___ heart " She drooled some before pouncing on it and hugging it. "Your so hott!!" She said happily. Harperking "I've not met a lot of cervitaurs actually," ceryn began to speak then was interupted by Rio's scream and the sudden appearance of Sei. eternaldelusion Cheveyo backed up a few steps, eyes growing wide as the human approached. Before he could run, it was on him."AAH! GET OFF! GET OOOOFF!" he grabbed onto a tree, wrapping his arms around it and trying to pull himself away from the crazy human. Perri Indiya Daithi jumped between Ceryn and the strange human, drawing his knife and holding it like a sword. "Ceveyo! Is she hurting you? Do you need help?" Seiei " 'Ello Pretty! I'm Rio's mommy! And your the hottest thing I've seen since I got here!" She hugged him tighter "What's your name?" "MOMMY!! Get off of him!!" He said slighly embarresed "Nuuu!! He's too cute!!" She snickered and didn't let go. eternaldelusion "God, someone please get her off of me! Smelly green thing, it's your mother! Get her off," Cheveyo looked to Daithi, "It would be much appreciated." Well, atleast Sei wasn't a kid...though, no one of his own species thought this way about him. 'Cept maybe Tempest, but still. Harperking Ceryn jumped forward and began tugging on Sei, trying to get her off the paniced sounding Cheveyo.
"Let..go..of..him!!" she grunted as she pulled. She didn't want to have to hurt anyone, but was afraid she was about to have to use her staff to pry the woman off! Seiei "Answere my question!" She said half cuddling him. "Oh and will you go out with me?" "Moooommmmyyy...." gonk eternaldelusion "Ch-cheveyo," The teen whimpered, still clinging to the tree,"And I can't! My...mum is really protective, and she won't let me go out with anyone!" Riiight. But this girl was scary. What would she do if he said 'no'?! Perri Indiya Daithi raised his knife. "Lady, I don't want to hurt you, but I will. Get off of him!" No waiting for a response from the human, he raise a hoof and stamped on one of her feet, hard. Harperking Seeing that it wasn't going to work, Ceryn worked her staff between Sei and Cheveyo.
"Dai, grab the other side and PULL!" she said. "Che - hang on to that tree!" Hopefully she and Dai would be able to pry the crazed woman off. Seiei "Aww!! She won't know, Cheveyo! Oh and cute name!" She smiled "Pwease?" Sei asked as she loosened her grip a little.
She glared at Daithi "I can be meaner than Rio ya know! " eternaldelusion "I-I can't! I'm...I'm gay!" It was a lie, but he needed something to work with,"Yes. I like men," he stared forward, past the tree with a 'I can't believe I said that' look on his face. Perri Indiya "What the hell?" Flee and Daze entered the clearing, glancing at each other and the scene before them. God this was a weird island. At least Ireland made some vague sense.
"Flee! Daze! Help us! THis lady is scary!" Daithi sheathed his knife, grabbing the other side of Ceryn's staff and pulling like she'd said.
"Excuse me... ma'am?" Flee, the female teenage deer anthro, tapped Sei on the shoulder. "Could you please let the boy go?" Seiei "Your not gay! I've been around alot of gay guys before! And I'll let go if you come to the creek with me! <3" She said happily
"Daithi I'm not scary I'm Riome's mother! And give me a second!" Riome had slinked out into the trees He was not going to be a part of that! Harperking Harper walked in on the strange scene moments after Flee and Daze did.
"Ceryn! What is goin on here?" she said in a calm voice.
Ceryn looked over but did not stop trying to dislodge Sei. "This lady is attacking Che!" she said. eternaldelusion "Why do you want me to go to the creek?" Cheveyo asked in a soft, scared voice. Why him? Why?! He wasn't good looking, or like any of the other cervitaurs, so why was she clinging to him? Perri Indiya Daze rolled his eyes at his sister. Too damn polite that one. Stepping into the fray, he began to forcibly pry Sei's arms off of the trapped taur. "Let him go. He's just a kid, and you're hurting him. This is not something a mother does." Madness_insanity Mad walked over, a very upset Tempest following behind. She smiled, "so this is the Cervi you were talking about...............he seems popular." Seiei "Pwease? I'll let go of you! I just wanna talk to you! n__n" Seiei looked at the thinggy pulling on her and kicked it away. Perri Indiya Daze dodged the kick and kept pulling. "Maybe you should be looking after your son?" Seiei "Just go away for a while! I just wanna go for a walk with Cheveyo here! Then I'll let go! And Rio's a tuff little guy!" She said still drooling over Cheveyo. eternaldelusion "He has a good point! Your son. You SON!" Cheveyo was keeping ahold on the tree, like he'd been told. But he wanted to be let go. He was starting to freak out from being trapped and it was taking all his willpower not to kick madly. Caitlyn HellCloud Caitlyn walks up to the fray and glances to see Darrin and Duskan sleeping peacefully in the bush, she hears the commotion going on in the clearing. She pads over and snickers at the sight of Sei clinging to the teenage cervitaur. "Oiy.. Sei! Get off that poor guy!" She calls out to her friend while laughing Perri Indiya Flee joined her brother, working on Sei's other arm. "Why don't you just talk to him instead of scaring him half to death then?" Harperking "Auggh! This isn't going to work" Ceryn said. "Let it go Dai, I have an idea." She tossed her staff down and grabbed a feather from her hair. She used it to tickle Sei anywhere she could reach, hoping that would wrk. Seiei "I wanna take a walk with him!!" She clinged tighter "Let me walk with you!! Then I'll tet go!!" Rio found some berries and popped them into his mouth. Madness_insanity Mad burst out laughing, "ha, they are smart. Tickling her......" Tempest sat on the floor boredly, watching a random ant on the ground.Perri Indiya Dai stepped back, letting his guardians work. This was not the sort of stuff he knew how to handle. He was better with wild animals than crazy women. Caitlyn HellCloud Caitlyn clicks her teeth as she walks over to Sei. "If you don't let go of that poor cervitaur right now, I will bite you and it won't be a gentle bite" She smirks at Sei as she nibbles on Sei's shoulder to show her that she is serious Seiei "Oh! Tempest! I think Rio's picking some berries of you wanna go find him!" She huggled/cuddled Cheveyo eternaldelusion Cheveyo was letting out tearless sobs. The ones you give when you're doomed."Whyyy? Why me?!" he didn't relent his hold on the tree, despite the splinters in his arms. Perri Indiya Nodding to each other, both Flee and Daze began to dig their fingers into the woman's arm, no longer trying to be gentle. Flee still tried to reason with her. "Abuse doesn't say I love you to most people, ma'am! Let him go." Caitlyn HellCloud Caitlyn quirks her eyebrow at Sei. Dang, this woman is intent on clinging to him! She thinks to herself before she bites down on Sei's shoulder where the pressure point is located....hard Seiei "AHH!!" Falls lifelessly on the ground. Harperking Ceryn gave Harper a look that clearly asked for some help. She stepped back as Harper came over and grabbed Sei's feet, thus reducing her leverage so the others could hopefully work her loose. Madness_insanity "I don't want to find him!" she said angerly, helping the ant move the small rock it was struggling with."aww come on Temp, go talk to him." "No!" Mad looked worried, "Don't hurt her to much guys" she yelled to the crowd. Caitlyn HellCloud Caitlyn smirks satisfied as Sei lets go of the cervitaur. "I am sorry.. but I had to.." She says in quiet voice Perri Indiya The Twins let her go, Flee switching immediately into doctor mode. "Ah, never a dull moment here."
Daze glared at Daithi. "This is what happens when you shirk your lessons."
Dai ignored him and patted Che on the haunch. "You okay?" Seiei Rio comes back with a mouth full of berries and immidiently spits them out. "MOMMY!!" He screamed and ran over to Sei. "You killed my mommy!" He said as tears ran down his cheeks. Harperking Harper jumoed out of the way as the woman fell to the ground. She looked over at Cheveyo and gently asks "Are you ok?"
Ceryn patted Dai on the shoulder. "Good job helping me there!" Perri Indiya Flee smiled at Rio. "She's not dead, she's just resting. She'll wake up soon!"
Daithi blushed. "Um, sure thing!" Caitlyn HellCloud Caitlyn eyes Sei's body before she poke her in the stomach with the stick and she pads over to Darrin and Duskan, covering them with her cloak while she looks around quietly eternaldelusion Cheveyo shudder, looking traumatized as he slowly let go of the tree and took a few skittish, hastey steps away from them, before calming down a little and folding his legs underneath him, nodding,"I think so..." Seiei Rio poked her sadly "No she won't..." He put his fingers on the back of her neck. "There's no pulse...." crying Perri Indiya Flee smiled. "That's not where the pulse is sweety. She'll be fine." She glance at her brother. "Daze, could you take Daithi home please? He doesn't need to see this."
Daze nodded, and led the young stag away. "Come on, we have training to do." He muttered. What odd people.
Dai waved to Ceryn and Cheveyo as he went. "Come over any time!"
