the reason its hard to find is because it wasnt printed for very long. reason being there wasnt a big response to it. until suikoden 3 came out and everyone wanted to play the games but by then they had stopped printing copies of suikoden 2 for a while so there was a big demand with fixed quantity so therefore your rise is price is explained.

I got my Suikoden 2 copy for $60 dollars before Gamestop stopped carrying PSX games, I also got Suikoden for $35 dollars.
I've been looking in stores everywhere for this game, but no one seems to have it. Were there limited quantities made or something?
Umm Konami makes limited qunatities of these games. So once they stop going into production, it's kind of hard to find them. Good luck in finding it, it's rarity to find one nowadays. Expecially ones that are affordable. . . freaking bidders, bidding nearly $500 for it.
