Chastity blinked, then grinned. "Well... sorta. It got away, don't worry though. I'm sure we can find something else to have fun with."
Despite whom was her mother and definitely her father, she had a bit of sympathy for some. This one seemed sad that he had fallen asleep during play. It appeared to be something that happened often because at first he had acted like nothing out of the ordinary had happened. But she didn't want him sad, so she brushed it off.

"awwww..." He still looked disappointed, but the wag was quickly returning to his tails because he had not lost the rabbit. With a playful noise Doron bounded at the femme and butted his head to the underside of her chin then bounded cheerily around her like an energetic kit. "C'mon! Let's find that something else to have fun with, Chastity!"
Yes. There was something wrong with this kitsu, hyper one minute asleep the next. Not that it bothered him in the slightest.

Chastity found it odd that Doron had this ability to fall asleep in the middle of action.... but with a shrug and a grin, she darted after him. She was happy to have found a playmate, and was determined not to let that little bit of strangeness influence her playtime.
"I'm game, there's more animals and such about, I'm sure of it!" she called, catching up with him quickly.

He grinned, turning his head to see her come up to him. "Great! So all we have to do is find and catch one!"
Bright blue eyes flashed happily. A friend to play with! Doron's tails wagged. "Have any idea how to find one?" At home there was usually no shortage of small playfriends. Of course he would never stop to think about eating one of those.

Chastity grinned a bit evilly. "Of course! Leave it to me."
She bound off into some nearby tall grass, and shortly a couple of rabbits appeared for their chasing pleasure. "There! Pick one and we'll keep after it." she called, smiling in her joy if not only hunting but play. What a perfect combination.

His head quirked, not understanding the 'evil' side of the female's smile. Doron could only tell it was different. His swirled ear twitched curiously as Chastity bounded off. A slow grin forming thinking about how it was kind of nice to 'leave it to her' and that they would soon have another playmate.
Seeing two rabbits Doron's bright blue eyes widened in eager excitement and he ran to keep them contained. "Two!! Even better!! Like double Pong!! You're awesome, Chastity!!"
Jumping in front of one to redirect its path Doron swished his swirled tails in playful menace at the other, startling it enough to send it back towards the female kitsu. "We can see how long we can keep them both!!!"

Chastity laughed and smiled, this one genuine happiness. "We'll try for as long as possible!"
She wondered what he was thinking, but wasn't too concerned with it because they were having so much fun. Working hard at keeping the two bunnies within the area between them, she watched Doron's method. She thought his swirled tails were rather clever at keeping the rabbits contained.

Not much to think. A flash of excitement, jumping to scare one rabbit, then spinning & pouncing to scare the other. Blue eyes catching sight of Chastity sending their 'friends' back his way, flashes of admiration for her skill at keeping the rabbits at bay the energy she had when she ran. Flashes. Fleeting. Sometimes repeated but always moving.
His tongue lolled out of his mouth. Doron was getting thirsty. But there would be time for a drink after their play.

Chastity was beginning to get hungry, chasing and in her mind, hunting the bunnies. She didn't want to scare her new friend and playmate, but she would have to eat soon. She also noticed that she was getting a bit thirsty, being that it was bright and sunny where they were dashing about.
The rabbits were starting to tire, she could tell and that made it all the harder not to chomp into one when it came her way.

A rumble elicited from the male's tummy, startling Doron so much that his blue eyes went wide and he nearly lost one of the rabbits. Quickly he made a clumsy move to redirect the hopper and licked his lips. He knew rabbit was edible but...
His tummy rumbled again. Louder this time. Could one eat rabbit without Aunt Ginny making stew of them? When had he last eaten? Before leaving the house, that he was sure. "Wanna stop to find something to eat?"
Even as he spoke Doron's blue eyes took in the rabbits in a hungry fashion. He might never have caught or eaten fresh meet, but he was a kitsu and some instincts were still there.

"I was wondering if you ever got hungry." Chastity said with a semi evil chuckle. "We don't need to stop to find anything... what we're chasing would make a wonderful, if small, morsel to help ease the majority of our hungry."
She continued the play chase, waiting to see if Doron would approve or if they would have to go hunt something else up. She was rather pleased with the size of the two rabbits. Snapping harder than the play that they were doing would make it a quick and simple meal... all in all.

Doron's blue eyes blinked in confused wonder. "Huh? Why wouldn't I get hungry?" Didn't everyone get hungry?
He almost let one of the rabbits escape, then quickly jumped & swiped at it with a paw to send it scurrying back to the middle. Now his eyes were wide with surprise. "They would?" Excitement, then more wonder in an awe sort of way as he looked to the female. "We can make dinner from them? You know how?"
The male looked like he was about to drool, his three tails wagging wildly behind him. The other rabbit, seeing the sudden extra movement, panicked and ran straight towards Chastity who seemed the lesser threat at that particular moment.

"Making dinner of them is easy..." Chastity said with a toothy smirk at the rabbit that ran her way. It realized it's mistake only seconds before it would have been a fresh kill. "Let your wild side take over, and you'll see exactly what I mean."
The rabbits that darted between them were quickly realizing that the play, was going to get to be dire for the to really run. Chastity could tell that they were getting more cunning in their attempts at escape, but they were also getting tired.

He nearly tripped. "Wild side?" At home all of those that were hyper like him & Ma & Zell were said to be wild... somehow Doron did not think that was what Chastity meant.
Gosh... but he was getting hungry. A rabbit darted zig-zagging in front of him and he growled and snapped to keep it in the game. His own actions startled him and he stumbled, wide-eyed. Where had that come from?

Chastity smirked. "That's the trick. That's how we're supposed to act when it comes to prey...."
She darted closer to one of them, this time drawing blood. If that didn't show Doron the side of him he should let out when it was time to eat, nothing would.
