Books made into movioes normally don't do very well. This one surprisingly did. And some hints: This movie came out at the same time the book did. The book is a prequel to three others. I'm mimicking the main character...

It's highly funny that this one is difficult for you guys.
The book and movie both came out in February... ninja
Teh author of teh book shall be revealed later if no one gets this. Plus a screen shot revealing who said character is.
Moosey knows though. Moosey watched the movie with me.
