I'll watch my DVDs. And hopefully wait until all the Seasons are released on DVD, which might be interrupted if the shows canceled. ;_;

I don't think the Simpsons will ever be "forcefully cancelled". I think there will be a point when they decide to end, but I don't know if that's the same.
Hell, I'd have to find a new show to obsess over.

Everything good must end... and with television, it's best.
--is a tv major--
The demise of many sitcoms comes from not ending it when the time is right.
The Simpson's is the longest running sitcom EVER. That's really saying something.
I don't think I'd be devastated if it ended, it had it's run. I watched it through my childhood. I'm grown up, if it ends, I'll be sad that a part of my childhood died, but that's really it. Something like the Simpsons will live on forever.
It will continue in re-runs for years, if not decades after its cancellation. And really, wouldn't you prefer it to end on a good note, than continue on and end up disappointing you? I'd rather it end and remember it fondly than think of it as 'that show i once watched, but now sucks'

U have a point Brea but if it ended then Matt Groening better have a new sitcom planned. But I doubt it will end. He makes his episodes based on current events. asian adoption, enviroment, politicians, stuff like that. And I doubt it will end soon. Im just afraid that when he passes the torch the next person in line will total the Simpson empire.

My dad reminisces of the days when he lived in California, before I was born, and he'd read Matt Groening's comics in the newspaper.

First I get the best illegal fireworks I can, then I go to FOX headquarters, then I set them off so that they fly through the windows and explode.
