Dont Fear Reaper Alot of this is becoming bull s**t. Quit dissing the bible and Jesus and calling us hyprocritical ******** tards for believing in the Bible. You don't like it, ******** off. Wine somewhere else. Gaia is not some damn E-fight game, its a social tool. Enjoy it, not bible bash and hate on people. And the bible doesnt say its wrong to mix clothing materials or cut your hair. You tell me where it says that. It never even says being gay is wrong... The bible was written by man in their interpretation to what jesus and god has taught. God nor jesus said that homosexuality was wrong but you must understand that people believe that just because of a book that was written by man and its ideals people believe that god said so. I am catholic but i do not believe in most works of the bible.

Baron_Ruthven Eodrid Why do they hate us for being gay, bi or lesbian?! Ya know why they hate us?!?!? The ******** BIBLE TELLS THEM TO, that's why. We live in a ******** goddamn Jesus soaked ******** world that's why. And it's the damn truth, and anyone who tries to say otherwise has never ******** read the Bible. And anyone who tries to still be gay or bi and at the same time believe in the Bible, they are a damn hypocrite who is unknowingly fighting on the side of the ******** homophobes.
Okay, one, why do I feel like I just got ******** yelled at?
And two, I have a friend who is a DEVOUT Christian and she's a lesbian.
So, because it doesn't ACTUALLY specify anywhere in the Bible that homosexuality is bad (at least not in the readings that anyone actually follows anymore), she's not a hypocrite.
AND she accepts that even if it is a sin, God forgives and God loves her, despite her sins. She doesn't fear going to Hell for what she feels, because God wants us all to love one another.
Now, that whole "God" spiel came from her. Not me.
I do not believe in God, but she felt the need to defend herself.

Many of the anti-gay quotes are in Leviticus(sp?). However. that book isn't listened to for anything else. It also says about the kind of offerings you are to give to God, what kind of animals are "unclean", the burning of prostitutes, it even threatens death to the children of those who do not follow it. I don't believe in the bible personally, however I do care for mythology so I have read most of it. Revelations is quite interesting.
I have heard about the "gay gene". However, in my psycology class it is ruled as purely theoretical. It is highly unlikely that it would be controlled by one gene. Our class agreed with the "prenatal hormones", view; since it has been showed in studies that it doesn't always affect identical twins, but does increase with in males with a larger number of male siblings.
Your school should not treat theory as fact. Other than that, free speech.

What is says in chapter 19 of Genesis is that man cannot lie with man like he does a women. and that is considered a sin. People have a mixed message going on in their head. They think God hate sinners. No he actually hates the sin you do. If any of of you have read the bible, it actually says he hung out with most of the sinners because he liked the people. So that whole "You going to hell because you are gay" isn't true.

That is unfair. I'm not going to waste my words on going on about the ignorance and discrimintion that displays, but I will say that straight people need to hop off the throne they think they're sitting upon, and show some kindness towards lesbians, gays, and bisexuals.

Err, in any case, it's ignorant, outdated propaganda to call homosexuals or even bisexuals a "disease". I used to go to catholic school and there, this one guy in my religion and political science classes thought one could CHOOSE to be gay or straight. He was a straight-up republican who believed that we were this way on purpose.
