Paradise raised both eyebrows at that and stilled her tails and paw. Now that was a respectable response. "Depends... am I really a problem? You might be surprised." You know, that outfit was starting to look really familiar. Wait... wasn't there a brat back at that Place that dressed like that? Nevermind that the "brat" wasn't all that much younger than she was. "Are you one of those Nobody people?"

"You seem to be making yourself one," he replied, learning rather quickly, all things considered.
A pause then, and Cyr blinked at her just a little, wondering just what she meant by that comment. "My parents are ..." he replied then, almost carefully. He didn't know a whole lot about it, actually ... since said parents had never really ... explained.

Paradise looked thoughtful. "You all wear the same kind of clothes? They're nice clothes, I gotta say, but I'd get bored with that... I like being colorful." She shook her head. "Meh... that one back at that place I stay at sometimes wears the same thing... 'cept she's got something else besides sleeves. Someone said she was "Xigbar's kid", not that I've ever met the guy. You and her..." She peered a bit closer at him. "Can you do other stuff? Like when your little dagger things went flying? That brat back at the place floats around and stuff..." There was no trace of the derision she'd shown before, just honest curiosity. Whichever way he decided to answer he had a lot better chance of getting her off his case now that she wasn't interested in annoying him anymore.

What the hell..? Now she was suddenly Ms. Talkative? Cyr stared at the teen for a moment, debating on whether or not to answer at all. No one had ever shown any sort of interest in him before ... of course, he hadn't run into any other kitsus in a very long time but still.
And to be interested in him just based on who his parents were..? That was kind of insulting, he thought.
"It doesn't matter if I can or not," he replied, nose back in the air. "The only way you'd find out if I have more powers is when I use them to kill you.

Paradise looked at him for a moment. "You're a real jerk, you know that? Don't come crying to me when you run into someone who kicks your a** for it." And it wasn't because of his parents that she was curious. She was curious about him because of what she'd seen, not that it would matter at this point. She stood up, turned resolutely around, and started walking away without so much as a tail flick to acknowledge that he was still there.
