IGN.com's gotten me all hyped up for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy.
In their podcast from the show, Matt Cassamassina was going on and on about how amazing Metroid Prime 3 is, and, though he is biased by his Metroid fanboyism, is believe every word of it. I've placed my preorder and now I eagerly await August 27th and Labor Day weekend. And then, after Matt was done, Mark Bozen went on for ten minutes about how Super Mario Galaxy is hands down the best game ever and, again, I believe every word he's said about the game.
I'm also excited about Super Smash Bros Brawl, especially now that they've shown the Smashville level and now there's a remote possibility that you'll be able to play as an Animal Crossing character (my best bet is on Copper the police dog).
Also, I am dieing to play Trauma Center New Blood. O...M...G... I went absolutely crazy when the first one came out for the Wii, and although I've only known about this game's existence for a week, I can easily say it ranks up there with Nintendo's Big Three.
Wii Fit. I could lose a few pounds... lol Really, I'm very excited about the software, but even more excited about the peripheral. I could imagine a skateboarding or snowboarding game being really amazing. And just imagine the Warioware for it. You thought Smooth Moves was tiring...
Mario Kart Wii... Yeah, it's Mario Kart... on my Wii... online. Okay.
Other than that, on Wii I'm looking forward to Madden 08, MySims, Super Mario Strikers: Charged, Sadness (whenever it's coming out), Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, Pikmin 3, Animal Crossing 2, Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.

Oh man, some of those 360 games really have my blood boiling. I can't wait for quite a few of them.
Assassin's Creed looks to be the absolute best realistic platforming game of all time... It's going to be one of the first games that I get when I get a 360.
Rock Band looks like it has officially owned Guitar Hero (especially now that Metallica has signed on to have "Enter Sandman" in the game and allow all their albums to be available for later download.) Another game I'll be getting when I get my 360.
Halo 3 looks stellar. I didn't care much for Halo 2, but 3 looks like it will bring the series to a satisfying conclusion. The graphics, in my opinion, look very good and, no offense to you Killzone 2 fans, has a wider color palette than most other games in its genre. If the gameplay can keep up, then I will be set!
Other games on the 360 that I'm looking forward to are Gears of War 2 (you know it's coming, probably next year), Alan Wake, Resident Evil 5, Viva Pinata: Party Animals (oh yeah!*), Scene It?**, Beautiful Katamari, All Pro Football 2K8, Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, Virtua Fighter 5, Half-Life 2: Orange Box (so much game for such a good price), Grand Theft Auto IV, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Mass Effect, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Army of Two, Too Human, Soul Calibur IV, Burnout Paradise, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, and Unreal Tournament III. (Phew...)
*That was just a joke, I hate what they've done with the series.

And PS3 games I'm excited about... none.
I'm joking, there are even some games that got my Sony-hating heart abeating.
None of the multiplatform games from my 360 list apply here because I've always preferred my multiplatform games on the Xbox controller.
Alright so... PS3 exclusives... Hmm...
Oh yeah, Echochrome (I'm surprised I remembered the name!) looks trippy as hell, but an excellent downloadable game for sure, wish it was on the 360.
If Gran Turismo 5 actually looks like it does, then I will be impressed. However, I still wouldn't get it because I am not a fan of sim driving games...
I'm not very excited over Uncharted because I have a better action-platforming alternative in Assassin's Creed. Besides, I've never been big fans of Naughty Dog games....
Ratchet & Clank 5, looks amazing, fun, and funny and a really good change of pace for the overly serious PS3 line-up (even Super Rub-a-Dub has a grim tale of lost ducks in an endless maze of oddly shaped bathtubs).
Lair, awe man that game looks sweet. I just really hope the SIXAXIS controls don't suck.
Other games for the PS3 that have me excited are Time Crisis 4 and Infamous.
