usually parties give a small exp boost in mmorpg's
for example, if you party with only one person, you'll get 50% of rage points, but therefore you theoretically just need half the time to kill monsters, since you are 2 persons
then, with an experience/rage boost, you would even get 60% or something like that, compared to when you go solo>_>
i hope they implement something like that to encourage parties, because soloers are nubs and should play singeplayer games
... come on, i'm just joking xp

It really is going to depend on what options there are available...
In mmorpgs, my class of choices are bard first and priest/cleric second. Being someone that gravitates towards support classes, it will be parties all the way for me... bards and healers tend to be the worst soloers.

A guild I am in is trying an rp war so if there is a party system then I will definantly be backing my guild in the friendly rp war between the groups.

I like to party in MMORPGs but some games don't really put it to good use <.< Some games just use partying as an exp multiplier, which isn't bad but.. why party then? I liked WoW instances because a party has to work together or else they'd get wiped. I just really hope the battle system isn't a bunch of boring maps of concentrated enemies to grind on for hours...
Oh, I'd probably party with people that look cool xD

though I have a feeling that it will be automatic...
like youlog on to the battle system and its a level...and your on that level with like say 3-7 other people and you have to battle threw it...I dont think it will be you choose...if so tat would be kinda intresting and also add the the everyone is fair index ....

Once the MMO starts I'll set up a guild and play as part of a group or alone depending on the situation.

thats good you guys are getting ready for me I already have a party of 7 people willing to show our power as a storng and powerful team and I with my friends dominate the battle system
