I find Near to be highly annoying. It doesn't seem like he can really live up to be the next L stare

I don't like Near, but I wouldn't go as far to say I hate him. He is really annoying though, like a knock-off of L, except with toys instead of sweets. That's what pissed me off a little.

I love Near. I think he's awesome. He's the genius who avenges L and I think he's highly unappreciated.

I didn't like Near at first, but I'm re-reading the series and I've found that he's grown on me. I laugh quite a bit when he's talking to Light.

Another thing I like about Near is that I agree with a lot of his observations and opinions... I also love the way he points things out though he can be a bit of a jerk at times. Plus he's cute!

I like Near alot. His robots make me smile.
Sure, he isn't 'L' per-se. But come on, you have to give him some credit. He was pretty awesome.
Not to mention Light was too malevolent for me towards the end so I was kinda glad when he died.

Near is actually my favorite character now. he's tied with L, haha, I can't decide who's better.
I really like him. His toys are awesome, and he's got skills like L.

I wouldn't mind him if he weren't so much like L... it just felt like they were trying to replace L, and they were doing a shitty job of it, too. scream
