27-25=2. 40-2=38 HP
Quo was able to jump out of the way, however the thorns hit his foot as he did. He yelped in pain, but was able to keep his balance. For a moment, he looked at the plant that attacked him, vengence in his eyes. However, his eyes turned to the plant that was wounded. He was getting hungry, and that vine needed to be gotten rid of. His mouth opened, a powerful vortex trying to suck the wounded plant in.
Pako had jumped off of Lute's head when the battle began. He quickly pulled his guitar off his back and aimed for the far away plant, the one that hadn't attacked. He quickly played a series of notes, sending a shockwave at his opponent.
((Ok, Accuracy for Quo first, then Pako.

The vortex in Quo's mouth would suck one of the plant monsters in. Quo began to gulp and within seconds, the creature was gone without a trace. His stomach goes to work on the poor thing, the boy's belly seeming to bulge a little. "Mmmm...delicious!"
The shock wave would plow into the third plant, likely knocking it backwards. It wasn't his strongest blast though and the odds of it surviving were pretty high.

The third vine, danced around, not sapient enough to fear the hungry guy who just ate her fellow plant. It wiggled it's vines and thorns, swirled and when to Pako's direction, flickering in the air with it's vines trying to hit him.

The moogle yelped, the impact knocking him backwards. He hits a tree and falls to the ground. He manages to pick himself off, but was very dizzy. Using his guitar as a crutch of sorts, he manages to carry himself back to the front line. "Ooooh...gonna feel that in the morning..."

Lute glanced backwards at Pako and winced. The poor little thing..! Growling, she held her ground, waiting for the next attack - it looked like the first vine monster was going to have a go at the small party. Lute gripped the Scorpion Tail tightly, waiting.
"Pako, you ok? And Quo, nicely done!"

Semi upset that the cuteness had been hurt, Lute attacked with her flail again, this time aiming for the one that had attacked poor Pako! She let out a battle cry, and brought the flail down sharply.
"You shouldn't hurt cute things!"

Only one vine lasting. The other two were killed by being eaten and the other by Lute's powerful whip combine with Pako's magic guitar!
The lasting plant continued to dance, unaware of it's situation, not having the intelligence for such. So it stopped... then unleashed a full throttle attack in Quo's direction! Whipping and dashing, swirling it's thorns.
