From the younger mare's tone, Feryal was certain she'd made a mistake, nickering softly with concern. Ahh dear, had she trotted right into a sore spot? It seemed so. "I'm sorry." She apologized slightly, offering a sheepish short of bob of her head. "I shouldn't have suggested...Well, never mind." When in doubt, backpedal. The unicorn could understand the bliss of solitude, the joy of being alone with none but the elements to accompany you...but she admitted, it did get lonely. "I? No." It was with a sad sort of smile that Feryal shook her head. "All alone, I'm afraid...I suppose that was another reason I started to wander." Those frosted eyes looked faintly distant as she stared quietly for a moment, then shook herself. "It would be nice, to have a family." She said quietly, knowing that she did wish for foals perhaps later in the future, but never feeling as though it was an appropriate time to search for one would would let her have them.

Arctica frowned. "Sorry for what?" She shook her head at the mare. "There is no reason to be sorry." The mare studied Feryal and observed the tone of her voice as she spoke. She seemed... Somewhat remorseful in Arctica's opinion. "Well... I'm sure you'll have a family one day." Her voice was airy and polite as she attempted to assure the mare and perhaps replace the smile on her face. Arctica wondered for a moment what she would do without her family... Even if she chose to wander from them she would still always have them; and the family was supportive of one another. Perhaps Arctica had just always taken for granted what she had; not even considering those things to be that which others had not. She looked back up at Feryal, "How far from here have you wandered?" Arctica had been down the mountain slope and descended a short distance into the forest, but never too far. What was the rest of the area like? She was always able to see beyond the forest from the mountain's cliffs yet she never had really seen a reason to travel too far from home.
