For long moments, Nyunya allowed herself to drown in the simple comfort she got from having Asherah so near to her when her heart was so heavy. It was a sunny spot on a dark, dark horizon, the lifeline when she felt like she was being pulled under. Without Taabu here, and with Ithi in no position to offer much comfort, it was the best Nyunya could hope for. It was enough because she needed it to be.

"That's right... Amani." Asherah had brought the reason Ny had been wandering back to the other lioness' attention, and she sat back to look around, as though expecting her daughter to magically appear before her eyes. "That girl can never stay in one place.. drives me crazy." Ironic, because she had been the same as a cub.

Nyunya took the chance, too, to wash her face quickly with a paw. It wouldn't do to let Amani see she had been crying.. when they finally found her, that is. Give her sister a little smile, she nodded. "They'd love to meet you, too."

Getting to her feet and shaking her fur off lightly, she gazed into the distance to the left. "Yes. She's been gone far too long." She set off in that direction, waiting for her sister to catch up and walk at her side.
