Actually there was this one movie where they really did a number on his hair, and the lighting... he actually did look seventeen. A mature seventeen year old.
And really, do we want some pimple-faced, puberty-ridden, hormone-driven sleaze as Edward? He's supposed to be Godlike, mature, and his aura just screams way older than you despite his physical look depicts otherwise.

Gaspard Ulliel is very literally the only person who can play Edward. He is not as much sexy as he is flawlessly beautiful. And the man can act as well heart and id like to see him topless thankyou stare

it's safe to say that a lot of people want to see him topless. actually... his chest is so... -drools- and dies-
and he can act well. which is amazing. usually people go just for the looks. and his voice when he speaks english (his native tongue is french) has a certain accent to it that not so much foreign but more sophisticated. which is a definite plus considering he's supposed to be above the regular 17 year old.

OMG! Good news Gaspard Fans! =D In an article in wikipedia about Edward's casting in the movie:
"...Meyer makes it clear, however, that if and when her books are made into feature films, she has no say as to who they end up casting in the roles of her characters; and though 'eliminated' by Meyer, the French Gaspard Ulliel remains the top choice of many fans and the rally for his casting continues."

DANG THE 22-year-old-ness!!! I don't care what anyone says about him being too old... he freakin IS edward cullen for gosh sakes!!! he's perfect and personally if they don't pick him i'll be ticked!

Alisox Wow. Id never seen Gaspard, but now...Im in love. Its so sad when hot guys get old, lol. Like Tom Welling and Milo Ventimiglia, they both turned THIRTY this year. R U SERIOUS????? They're 30??? They look so friggin young like early twenties or something!!!! They're liek the hottest guys on TV I LOVE GASPARD heart
