Tegian I don't think we should complain about the people who only give 10 gold or give you lame items where their total equals ten gold. That is the min so one should not complain. whether its annoying or not. Just my opinion. Touche. mrgreen It's true that we really shouldn't complain too much about people following the letter of the law if not the spirit. The name of the thread is DONATE to the person above you ... we should be posting with an attitude of giving instead of receiving. I generally know that I will be losing ground in that thread (read: I'd HAVE my Kiki by now if I just stopped donating!), but I also know that I have helped some really deserving people, and I have seen them help others in return. That having been said, it drives me nuts to see people with REALLY (unreasonably) expensive avies who donate the minimum (or less, or not at all stare ). Look, if you can afford those penguin slippers and all the latest MC's, you can probably afford to donate more than 20 pieces of trash to the person above you. However, if you're a newbie in starter clothes and nothing else to your name, those 10 pieces of gold are a lot more precious to you and I appreciate the donation that much more. I usually end up putting an extra 500 gold in their trade, LOL! My motto in the CB thread is: Share the wealth and pay it forward! (Yes, I am a democratic socialist, LOL!)

meh I only hate when people are greedy when they are rich! ok yea i dont mind newbies donating 10g i mean its probably alot to them, but the people with these awesome avies donating 10g every time is stupid mad

normally when i do my first post in the thread i get skipped.
(sometimes even my first three posts >.<)
today, the one who skipped my first post sent me later a trade
"you missed me" right after i posted below him, the girl who was
under me sent me one bug, and the others gave me most of the
time 10g. stare
I think we need more mods. rolleyes

crying I allways ask for at least 50gold.... It's because I allways give about 100 gold to people. everytime i go in there I get the short end of the stick. okay,not the last time, but usualy.

Zemalia Sacred_Butterfly_701 I personally think that greedy n00bs aren't as bad as greedy rich gaians, who only donate like 5g (less than the min.) and just take advantage of the thread and expect great donations. Really. I agree. They use the place as a way to get more money out of people.. which is just ridiculous. People who donate starter sets also really piss me off. i completely agree with both of these comments! xx

I was getting annoyed by the min donations I was recieveing so I stayed away from the thread for a while and then when I got back I was skipped twice. So, I don't know what's worse, the greed people have or the serial skippers. I'm okay with people telling you to send a trade if they accidentally skipped you, but those that just don't send a donation even after you sent a trade are probably the ones that drive me away from the CB thread the most. Am I making any sense?

Tegian I hate skippers alot, : I get skipped so much its not even funny. But there is a group worse than skippers, the people who will only donate you once, than anyother time you happen to be over them its 'Sorry, I only donate to each person once, to bad for you while I get a donation and I donate to the person above you, which gives them 2 donations.' ~sigh~ But oh well, and I don't think we should complain about the people who only give 10 gold or give you lame items where their total equals ten gold. Just my opinion. i agree with most of what you all say, especially you "tegian", i know its annoying to have the minimum donated to you , but its better than nothing, i myself do that, but theres a double reason why i do that, the ppl who do not complain about getting the minimum from me are the ones i deem "Non-annoying non-complainers".its nice to have ppl appreciate that some someone has taken the time to donate at all

I always seemed to get annoyed when i donate like 100g+ and all i get to recieve is things like bugs flowers paper etc,but it gets hard to donate when some people donate the minimum.
