Well pirates get most of their loot from merchant ships or ports so i'd just sneak in while you were fighting or while you were in a drunken stupor

no they still rob ports
and that's why pirates were always getting killed
there's no aim required with a cannon you just pull up next to them and fire

in a rum barrel so when you open it you get a knife in the face. Or they could poison the rum and then you would die while drinking it. OR i could disable the rutter and then take all the vegetables off so you get scurvy.

 "sigh" Ninja hide in cargo hold. Ninja dump rum when Pirates so drunk they think him another pirate. disable the rudder, then cut the sails.

anyway. you're all dead drunk. you wouldn't notice a gaint cow mooing on deck. and if you did, it would be because of all the rum, and the cow would be fluent in english.
