"Meru!! I thought you had gone out! I haven't seen you all morning... Then again I just got up sooo... Oh! Look who hatched this morning!" Sian smiled and nodded towards the faun. "Isn't he a cutie?"
Sian looked over at the now spaced out looking Sheridan and smiled again. "To the kitchen then? I'm happy I just put on a pot too." Sian bounced and watched the faun as she walked into the kitchen. He seemed content in her arms... and he kept looking around. Not much squirming though... Naida had been a squirmer. Ugh, a slippery one too.

Sheridan nodded, smiling weakly at Meru. "Yeah, kitchen." He followed them - the faun peering at him with his teal-colored eyes, over Sian's shoulder. He offered him a smile too, then buried his hands in his pockets and followed quietly.
"Have you given any other eggs out?" He asked then, softly. Curiously, wonderign if the others were havign as much througle as him - and hoping they weren't, for their own good - and that of the Mysterians.

"We've given out lot's of other eggs, we have a contact list for the owners too if you want to see it." Sian turned around and put the faun on a chair then got to work pouring tea while thinking about all the other owners.
They were quite a weird bunch. Some seemed totally insance whereas others seemed nuts. Oh well, they were all good people. She could tell just by the way looking at them. Then again there was that one thing... She let out a sigh and tried to block that thought out of her head. There was other things to think about right now. Like how to help Sheridan and all the questions he might ask.

"Are they doing okay?" He asked Sian - reffering to the other woners, that is. The bit his lip, and shook his head. No, what did it matter to him? It wasn't any of his business. Wasn't his problem.
"Err.. really.. I came to ask.. well, considerign I have school and everything.. I have no idea what to do with him." he reaced out to stroke the little faun, who looked up curiously at this contact. "I mean, I can't afford a babysitter, and I don't know if I coudl find one willing to babysit a horned and hooved little kid. And I've enver trusted babysitters, anyway. Had one when I was five, half of my mother's silverware was gone after that."

"Ah, I'm not sure how the other owners are actually. None of them have really come to talk to me yet." Sian smiled at this and turned around with three cups of tea. "You're the first one to come here. Although I feel that more will be coming soon as more of these guys hatch."
Sian sat down and placed a cup of tea infront of Sheridan. "Hmm to answer your other question, you could always drop him off here before school and pick him up after. I'm home all the time anyways so I don't mind babysitting. I hope you trust me enough for that though." Sian smiled and gave a small tinkly laugh then sipped her tea and jumped because it was hot and had burnt her tongue. "I usually don't steal from people unless I have too..." She winked at Meru when she said this and then blew on her tea to cool it down.

meru nodded to what sian was saying and brought out some bowls of salad and watermelon, and other assoments of food for everyone.
"just help yourself by the way" she said placing them on the table and opening them up. "maybe see if the cutie here will eat anything"^^
"har har har sian~" meru sarcasticly laughed, bopping sian on the head as she passed. She happened to glace up at the clock, she gasped "ACK~~ i'll Be back in a few minutes!~ i totally forgot about my painting! Sian, answer anything while i'm gone, i'm reallly sorry Sheridan! i'll be back asap!" Running out of the kitchen and up the stairs, meru dissappeared.

"Well.. you can't do much stealing if you're babysitting in your own house..." Sheridan smiled sligthly, a bit relieved at her offer. He did feel sheepish accepting the help, of course - but there was no choice, and he wanted the faun to be safe, even if it meant he had to lay aside some of his quiet pride.
There was an explosion of action then, whicht he faun watched with wide eyes, staring as Meru came in with food, and then dashed out to... her painting? He blinked, and turned his horned head to look in just about every direction he possibly could, before turning back towards the table, and the food.
it was out of his reach, so he stood up - standing ont he chair and reaching towards the colorful assortion of things curiously.

"Meru's house." Sian correncted softly. Sure she lived here, but only because Meru had allowed her too. Thank goodness Meru had such a big heart though, it had been getting pretty rough in the streets back then.
Sian's gaze fell silently on the faun as he started to move about. He sure was a curious little fellow. She started to wonder if he had talked yet but decided that he hadn't. Maybe a few noises but nothing more. Seeing that he was after a bowl of fruit however she pushed it closer to him to prevent any accidents.

The faun's fingers curled around a red apple, and he pulled the fruit towards him - it looked ridiculouslt big in his tiny hands, and a smile broke out on Sheridan's face as he peered at it curiosuly, blinking teal eyes. Curiosity gave way to equally-adorable confusion - and he let the apple roll ontot he floor as he reached for a slice of watermelon.
"Argh." Sheridan winced, watching the apple bounce a bit, bruised on just about every side by the time it hit a wall and stopped. He wanted to make one of those 'stop it right now' tones parents always made - but you needed a name for that, and, well...
"He needs a name." He bit his lip, and looked up at Sian.

"You have to name him, he's yours afterall..." Sian watched the apple and then flicked a finger at it and it flew onto the counter. "I however, can help you pick a name if you want?" She nodded a bit while she said this as though she was making her mind up and then gave a sigh.
"You won't mind excusing me for a second? I think there's someone at the door." Sian got up and walked out of the kitchen not waiting for a reply.

The faun giggled, eyes wide as the bruised apple flew over his head. He wanted his apple back, now. His flying apple. The slice of watermelon fell to the floor - and a pity, Sheridan thought, for the little thing had just taken a bite of it, and seemed to like it. Plus, it made quite a mess on the floor. Would be much harder to make it fly away, he reckoned.
"No.. stay!" He reached out to stop the faun from sliding down to the floor, holding on to his arm - loosening his grip just to make sure he wasn't hurting him. "You're not going anywhere until you have a name." He reached up to stroke the faun's curly hair, and lifted him back up into the seat. The hatchling seemed to obey, at first, sitting quietly and reaching for more watermelon.
But Sheridan only had to turn away to look for a paper towel to wipe the mess off the floor, and against he faun set his hooves on the floor, and walked towards the living room, clicking as he went. He stopped, just in front of a low table, and looked at the collection of things scattered over it - most of them quite a mystery. But his hands reached out towards the oddest thing he saw - a set of hollow reeds, tied together with string. Panpipes.

Sian opened the door to look down at another faun. This one however was different, this one was a girl. "Oh jesus... You're alone aren't you?" She looked out onto the street hoping ot catch a glimpse of the fauns previous owner but there was nothing. So she cussed under her breath and picked up the scared looking faun.
Sian walked into the living room to see Stereo's faun pick up some panpipes from the table. The faun in her arms also saw the other faun and gave a bit of a screech and then started to squim. Giving Sian no other choice then to put her down.
However after Sian had put the faun down she just stood there staring at the other one.
"Oh dear... I think she realises that they're sibling."

meru, finally saving her painting had wanted back down the stairs, a large textbook in her arms. figuring she had really not been gone that long, she casually strolled into kitchen quitely, well until she heard the unhuman like screech, and noticed that some how in the span she had been gone the faun population had doubled. Looking down at sheridan's faun picking up the panpipes, she spoke up.
" .....................Sian......why are there two fauns now?"
