I don't think he's purposly trying to look like Kurt Cobain. He just does.
Even with his dark hair people compared him to Kurt. In the Making of the Bird and the Worm [I think it was where I heard it] they were talking to him about it and he said it wasn't something he meant to do but he likes Kurt Cobain so it doesn't bother him.

He's only one of the most amazing once frontman EVER. The lead singer of Nirvana? You know Nirvana right? Dx

alltime favorite band (other than Atreyu)!!
their music is sooooo amazing, it's not even funny.
and Berts voice is so unique and amazing.
Why did Brandon leave???!!!! Dan is an amazing drummer, but I personally liked Brandon more.

x_skulls_r_cool_x I really want to see them alltime favorite band (other than Atreyu)!! their music is sooooo amazing, it's not even funny. and Berts voice (Nikki, u HAVE to tell us if he can scream now) is so unique and amazing. Why did Brandon leave???!!!! Dan is an amazing drummer, but I personally liked Brandon more. i will dont worry but i gotta wait cuz my concert date got reshedules out of all the dates mine got changed untill the end of the tour but dont worry i will keep you posted 3nodding i hope he can scream so he can sing box of ful objects and sound effect and over dramatics

If you watch their Berth DVD Quinn does talk about it real quickly
He seems to just go in circles instead of answering it
Basically he says they were going in different paths
They say there are no hard feelings though and they are happy for Brandon because he's now in his all time favorite band, Rancid
They also have Dan now and they thing are much more smooth and they mesh better with him
So it all worked out for the best
