As Hangover was standing outside the ring, Kalos stood there taunting him. However, the crowd was cheering when a man with a ski mask came in and took a steel chair to the back of Kalos' head. It caused Kalos to literally fall over onto the ropes. While he was like that, Hangover stepped in and tried to go for a roll-up pin. Unfortunately, the man would not allow this to happen as he took the same chair to the back of Hangover. The ref was wondering who this masked man was. He removed the mask and it was none other than Jeff Hardy.
Jeff then picked up Rhamm. He then went for an irish whip which was reversed. Jeff hit the back of the turnbuckle hard and was put in a superflex. As Hangover climbed the top ropes, Jeff gt up and went for a dropkick, sending Hangover off the turnbuckle and crashing into the barricades. Hangover ended up being knocked out cold cause he hit the back of his head dead on.
Kalos finally got up and saw that Jeff was after his belt. Kalos then threw some hard rights and lefts at jeff. after the 5th attack, Jeff ducked and went for a dropkick from behind. This caused Kalos to stumble some and ended up on the turnbuckles. Jeff then charged towards Kalos' back with a knee bash. Kalos screamed out in pain as he fell to the mat holding his back.
Jeff then grabbed another steel chair outside the ring and set it in the middle of the ring. As kalos got up, he attempted an TKO (RKO). Unluckily for him, Jeff pushed Kalos away. Kalos then came after Jeff with a charging clothesline, which connected almost knocking Jeff's head off. Kalos went for the pin, but only got a 2 1/2 count. Jeff slowly got up. Kalos went to send a knee to Jeff's head, but he rolled to the side and rose to his feet. Jeff went for a kick to the mid section, which was grabbed by Kalos, but that did not stop Jeff's other foot from hitting kalos in the head. Kalos fell face forward onto the mat.
As Kalos was getting up dazed, Jeff went for a Twist of Fate on the chair! It connected, causing Kalos to be busted open. But was Jeff done? No. Jeff then went on the top ropes and landed a swanton Bomb, causing him to pin kalos and pick up the win, making him the new Hardcore champion.

*it took a while, but Hangover finally regained consciousness after being knocked out on the barricade. He stood up slowly and leaned against the barricade, holding his head as he saw Jeff in the ring holding the Hardcore title. He wasn't sure what had happened, but he knew that he couldn't do anything about it right now from the searing pain in the back of his head. He tried to move away from the barricade, but ended up falling back against it on the floor*
