Lexaeus barely raised an eyebrow at the musician's sleepwear substitution as he carefully herded the little one towards the bed. He could see that Demyx was comfortably tucked in and maybe get something warm for him to drink. He would also have to bring some tissues, the giant didn't spot any when he glanced around the room.

Demyx easily followed the giant's movements towards his bed. Once there, the sitarist swiftly climbed into bed, and latched onto a soft pillow to hug. He made some effort to fold his wings up a bit, but for the most part he just left them sprawled out beside him as he curled up on his side.

Lexaeus silently reached out to pull the covers up and tuck Demyx in. He was careful to avoid ruffling any feathers, he wanted the little musician to be comfortable so he could sleep and stop looking so helpless.
"Are you hungry?"

"Not really..."
It was hard to feel hungry when you felt so miserable and cold. With a small sigh, the sitarist snuggled into his covers and pillow.
"Kinda thirsty though..just..no water...."
Indeed. He loved it, but he had way too much of it already today.

Lexaeus gave the covers one more gentle pull and tucked them around the little figure to make sure he stayed warm. With a nod he silently left the room.
It was just a short walk to the kitchens, where the hulking Audio pulled out a mundane mug decorated with the organization symbol, and rooted around in the cupboards under the counter for a small packet of single-serving chicken soup. Once the kettle was started, he settled in to wait.
He didn't like leaving Demyx alone and thirsty, but some things took time...

Lexaeus would have some peace in the kitchen, but it wasn't too long before Demyx grew rather lonely. Thus, the boy dragged himself back out of bed and off towards the kitchen to find his caretaker. A small whine announced his entrance, and the sitarist trudged inside the kitchen, rubbing at his eyes sleepily.
"Lexy?..."
A paw clutched at a blanket from his bed. Demyx would rather drag it along with him than leave the soft comfort back in his room.

Lexaeus' ears turned back before he turned to look at the smaller Audio. He glanced back over at the kettle. It hadn't boiled yet. Although it was hard to bear the thought, he would be best to send Demyx back to his room, and bring out the mug of soup after the kettle boiled.
"... Bed."
He gently turned the musician around and led him back towards the bedroom.
"I will bring a warm drink."

"But I was lonely..."
The youth whined and resisted the pushing back towards his room.
"Can't I wait here? Pleaseeeeeee Lexy?"
Sniffling, Demyx tilted his head back to stare sadly up at the other.

Lexaeus paused, but the sound of the kettle boiling saved him from having to either give in and let Demyx stay instead of resting, or forcing Demyx to go back to his room. The first would have been a bad choice, the second, simply heartbreaking had he possessed a heart.
"... Wait."
He headed back to the counter and dumped the little package of soup into the mug, filled it with hot water, dropped a spoon in, and joined Demyx back near the kitchen's entrance. Then he scooped up the small one and the blanket like he had done earlier, and handed him the mug.
"Stir." Other than that, he was silent as he carried Demyx back to his bedroom.

"Kay..."
So long as he had someone with him, Demyx wasn't going to protest anything. Content to be carried once more be Lexaeus, the sitarist adjusted the blanket and started to stir the mug of soup.
"T-thanks Lexy..."

Lexaeus headed more or less straight towards the bedroom, only going out of his way to grab a box of tissues. He walked carefully so Demyx wouldn't fall or spill the mug of soup. Once they were back in the musician's room, Demyx was deposited back onto the bed, the tissues onto the nightstand.
"Drink, then rest."
The silent giant would stay until he was sure Demyx was warm and satisfied, and then he would leave to let the musician sleep.

"Alright...."
Sleeping wasn't usually something he liked to do, but he was so tired.... Ears flattening, the sitarist went about draining his mug of the warm soup.
"Mmm...."
He'd be sad to see Lex go. Perhaps he'd just have to think of some reason to keep the other in his room for a while...

Lexaeus stood still, towering next to Demyx's bed while he waited for Demyx to finish the soup. He could take the mug back out to the kitchen on his way out.

It didn't take Demyx too long to finish his soup, and once he had the youth handed over the mug and settled back into his covers.
"Thanks Lexy...that was pretty good."
And warm..mmm warmth. Eyes drooping sleepily, Demyx curled back up in his bed and latched to the pillow he had been hugging before.

Lexaeus took the mug back, and then gently pulled up the covers again like he had before. Once he was sure the little one was settled he quietly walked to the door. Aside from a slightly creaky floorboard, he was virtually silent on his way out.
