I actually found using a tablet EXTREMELY difficult while using photoshop. Ill stick to drawling with the old fashioned mouse..

It took me a while to get used to drawing with a tablet, but I found that going to the Control Panel and clicking on Tablet, then setting it to a pen setting rather than a mouse setting (where the cursor will reset as soon as you remove the mouse) makes things a lot easier.

I have the graphire by Wacom. It was no more than $100 and I got it off the internet as well. I don't use it because I to have a hard time using it; I cannot set mine to pen pressure as much as I try. So I use my mouse too.

I didn't have to set anything. It was automatic for mine. question

My friend got a tablet for her birthday and now I really really want one. It seems like a good thing to have, especially if you make brushes and stuff.

I have one of the Bamboo Tablets, which has worked really well for me.

Now I mostly draw or paint using my tablet and the programme that came with it - ArtRage2. I love it.

I got a tablet for 99 at future shop and it comes with a mouse and the pen and comes with three programs with it. I love it and it's much easier to use to photoshop.

I use a Genius MousePen 8 x 6-Inch Graphic Tablet. It's cheaper, and works just fine for me.

Usually sells for about $60 on Amazon.com.

It comes with a cordless mouse, a pen stylus, and software.

I would recommend keeping track of the stylus (aka velcro that sucker to the tablet). I paid $39 for a slightly used one (works great- no signs of wear and tear), but a replacement stylus costs $25. I just have this problem with a replacement PIECE costing about as much as I paid for the whole thing.
