It's a love/hate relationship... [ Part 1 ] The Meeting
Leah lifted her head and perked her ears hearing the voices of other horses. She wondered what they were doing in the forest.... she had only seen them in the plains before. She walked quietly, and peeked through the trees to see three horses, one of them with magnificent wings.
Hisui smelled something but ignored it for the time being, "So, you were playing a game with Saiten." He smiled evily, "And you came into MY dwellings why?" He snarled and bared his teeth, "Games are not meant to be played here. I do not want happy-dorry bullcrap going on around me. So I am going to ask you again to leave and not come back in here... ever."
Saiten kept her ground between Hisui and SeaBiscuit, "Hisui, knock it off. He meant no harm coming here and you should know that." She bared her teeth at him showing him that she wasn't afraid.
"So, you're not afraid, but can you fight?" he taunted her, "You couldn't do it."
A tear rolled down Saiten's cheek, He knows that I can't fight him... why is he doing this.
Leah stepped out from the trees upon hearing this and made sure her presence was known, this time she was very loud. "Enough!" she yelled. She turned to the mare and saw the fear combined with rage in her blood red eyes and the stallion trying to protect her. "Run." she said simply. She knew if someone were to take on this demon and live, it would be her.
Hisui filled with anger but kept his rage down to a minimum, he smirked at the mare, "I'm having family issues right now. Heh..." he tried to shake off his adrenaline, but he was shaking massiviely from it.
Leah watched with empty eyes as the two horses ran before turning back to the winged horse. "What do you want with them anyways?" she asked stepping closer. She readied herself in case he attacked her, and lowered her head to protect her neck. The green horse didn't know it, but she was an experienced fighter and she would not go down easily.
"Heh, Saiten I can handle, it's that new boyfriend of her's that I cannot stand. Saiten is like a sister to me kind of. We aren't as close as we used to be... which makes me rather mad. But yea," he stopped when he realized he was telling this mare his life story without first knowing her name and who she really is. He cleared his throat, "So... what brings you here?" Hisui was pretty calm by this point... at least, he tried to sound calm.
Leah lifted her head and raised an eyebrow, looking him over cautiously. "So you don't feel like fighting, eh? Well in that case, I live here." she said shaking her head, and her red-brown coat shimmered. "An your name is...?" she said looking at him curiously.
Hisui chuckled and grinned, "Fight? Who? You? Ha!" Hisui bowed, "My name is Hisui, and you are?" Hisui found amusement in this mare, she had the fighting stance all perfect and he could see in her eyes that she feared very little so he decided to be nice to her.
"I'm Leah." she said with a scowl. "And I've been fighting since the day I was born, don't think I can't go against you." Leah continued to look at him curiously with many questions, but none that truely interested her but one, and she would not let on her desire to know what he was. She raised her head again seeing he would not be fighting her and could come fully out of her defensive position.
Hisui looked at her, "Oh, I believe that you could go against me. Hell, I believe that you have the integrity to actually beat me." He smiled at her, "You know what? As much as I would love to, I don't think that I could bring myself to fight you... you know why?" he didn't even give her a chance to answer, "because you amuse me too much. I have not found a mare that actually amused me to the point where I don't feel obligated to fight them."
Leah cocked her eyebrow up at him again. "Amuse you? How exactly am I amusing?" she said as she walked past him to get deeper into the forest. She was not used to being this close to the plains and it made her wary. Leah knew the other horses were beyond the trees, but she was more of a loner than a socialist and she didn't feel like converting either.
Hisui smirked at this mare, "Leah... you have questions yes?" again, he didn't wait for a response, "I can see it in your eyes, if you have questions, then why walk away? And to answer your first question, you amuse me by being the only mare that I have met who would actually be willing to fight me." He nodded.
"Ready willing and able." she said turning around to face him. "And I'm not walking away, I just don't like it out here. It's too open for my taste." she said and then looked at the ground for a moment before looking back into his eyes. "And really, I have one question only." she said, and before waiting for a response she turned and walked into the deep forest without looking back to see if he was following.
Hisui smiled. He was enjoying this. He followed the mare eagerly awaiting her question. He didn't know whether to worry about this mare or to worry about getting too close to this mare.

It's a love/hate relationship... [ Part 2 ] Quiet Curiousity
Leah felt halway surprised when she found herself being walked next to by the tall green stallion. She couldn't look at him for what she was about to ask.. but she had no choice. "Where did you come from?" she asked him in an almost monotone voice. Leah wouldn't really be this interested normally... but she remembered her parents had wings like his, and couldn't help but wonder. It could give her a clue as to where she, herself, came from.
Hisui stopped and stood in front of her, "You wish to know where I came from? As a demon?" he smirked... but his smile soon faded... "I wish I knew exactly. I have never seen my parents... all I knew, was this place," he looked around the forest. "They dumped me off here when I couldn't even fend for myself... I couldn't even see. While growing up I tried my best to ignore the fact that I was different... but even you know, it's hard to ignore. I was never able to make friends based on who... better yet.. what I am." He hung his head for a minute before continuing, "I'm sorry that I couldn't give you more information than that... it's all I know. I've been here pretty much my whole life, I used to go out occasionally to mess around with Metsuki and Rakun a little bit.. but not anymore. Not since... 'SeaBiscuit.' May I ask if there's a reason you ask me that and why you can't look me in the eyes while asking it?" He sighed.
Leah looked at him with tears in her eyes but she blinked them away... she was not used to showing her emotions. "My parents were both winged, the same as you. Yet I came without them. That's why I can't look at you and ask... it's too difficult. My parents weren't good in any way... and they treated me as a monster." she said with her unwavering voice. She felt like he was staring into her soul and she looked away again. Leah wouldn't let him see her emotions; she had been hurt far too many times for that.
Hisui didn't know why, but he found himself trying to comfort her, "Hey... don't cry," Hisui was trying to be nice to her... he felt for her, he really did. "At least you got to know them at all..." Don't be stupid Hisui, she doesn't want to hear that. "Umm.. I mean... being winged isn't all great... I'd rather be normal... it's hard living in the shadows all the time," What am I doing? Why am I telling her all of this? "Believe it or not, I would like to know what it feels like to go for a run and not have every stallion or every mare looking at you like your are some kind of disease. I hate it. And believe me, I kind of understand.. my parents apparently thought I was a monster, otherwise they would have kept me. But they didn't did they?" He paused for a good minute or so... "Come to think of it, I have a lot of dreams where my parents are normal, kind of opposite of yours." He sighed, Why am I doing this...?
"Normal? To me, you're more normal than I am." she said looking back up. She had never been around other horses like herself, which is why she shut herself away in the forest. She came down to the river sometimes, just to get the sun on her back, but the other horses made her always come running back to the dense forest. "Besides. Being abandoned when you were would have been a lot better than what I had to go through, and then finially taking it upon myself to run away to here." she said calmly. He didn't understand... and somehow she thought it odd that he, a demon like her parents, was showing more emotion than she herself was, a normal horse who was "meant" for that sort of thing, as her parents told her.
Hisui looked at her, "I am NOT normal," he looked back at his wings and then hung his head. "I never wanted to be this way... I wanted to be normal, but since I am this way I might as well act like I'm supposed to." He meant that he should just act mean and secluded from everyone. He sighed heavily, "I just hate what I am, I hate who I am." Hisui got upset, and he shrugged. I don't like showing how I feel but around her I can't help but be honest.
Leah took a step back from him as he yelled at her. Somehow, she didn't care how much people beat on her, but yelling always caused her to feel pain because it were the horses emotions, not just rage. She looked at the ground, eyes searching for something to say but she couldn't; Instead, she did what she had become used to over the years: she ran.
Hisui ran after her, "No wait! I wasn't yelling at you... I'm... I'm sorry..." Great, way to go you dork! Now she hates you, you finally almost made a friend and you go and do that. Yea, now EVERYONE will want to be your friend... NOT! "God I'm so stupid.." he said to himself.
Leah had to slow down as she got deeper into the forest. She noticed how much thicker the trees were, and she could fall trying to dart through them at the rate she was going. Unable to hear Hisui's voice, she stopped to rest in a small clearing with a beautiful spring in the center of it. She smiled as she walked forward to take a drink and wondered how a bright place like this came to be in such a dark forest.
Hisui thought that he was getting closer to where she was. Since he didn't see her, he decided to tap into his demonic senses and try to locate her. He picked up her scent and followed it, "Leah! Hey Leah! Where are you?! I'm sorry!" He hung his head and lay down thinking that he should just give up. God this is all my fault... I never should have raised my voice. Way to go... way... to go...
Leah heard him in the distance and she shot her head up, waiting for him to yell again so she could hear where he was coming from. Then she turned her head in that direction and called to him, wondering if she would regret it later. "I'm in here!" she said and she put her two front feet in the spring to cool them as she bent her head for another drink.
Hisui got up and walked over to the direction of the sound and walked into this awesome clearing. "Wow... this is... beautiful," he said, but stopped, "I mean uhh.. yea.. this is cool." Hisui smiled innocently as if he was trying to sound cool. This place really is beautiful. I love it here!
Leah smiled at him before getting the rest of the way into the spring, and walked underneathe the small waterfall it had in one of it's sides. She popped her head out from the stream of water so it was now landing mainly on her back, and she looked around at the rest of the clearing at all it had to offer. It was gorgeous, and looked like she could even live there if she wanted.
Hisui lay down and took a drink from the little spring, "This place really is something isn't it?" I wouldn't mind living here he thought to himself, he blinked his eyes not knowing that he zoned out while staring at Leah. He blushed and put his head down. Heh... why did I just do that?
Leah walked to him when she was done with her 'shower' and smiled as she went. She got oh so close to him before turning so her side was to him, and she shook all the water off of her and onto him. Then she laid in the spring and laughed as the water streamed down his body.
Hisui laughed as the water trickled down his sides and then he looked at Leah, "You know... the way you are sitting right now... you just look amazingly gorgeous." He blushed and then turned away embarrassed, "Sorry, that kind of just slipped out..."
Leah looked at him almost surprised but it melted quickly and she nuzzled him softly. She blushed knowing no one had ever thought of her as anything more than a punching bag, and it felt good to have a friend that liked her at the very least.
Hisui didn't know whether to melt where he was standing or to just shake it off and act like it never happened. That little demon inside of him yelled at him to walk away before he got any closer to her. He completely ignored that voice and stepped a little closer to her nuzzling her gently, "I'm sorry I haven't been the best of horses around here... but I'm glad have someone like you who'll listen to me when I need you there... Thanks for everything," he said blushing.
Leah looked at him in his gorgeous blue eyes and felt her heart race as fast as she did. "You are to me." she said softly and somehow felt it weird that she actually meant it completely. She had never met anyone who wasn't trying to use her for one reason or another, and Hisui liked her for the horse she was.
Hisui blushed such a red that he could have lit up the entire forest. "You are too kind Miss Leah," he said with a bow. He stared at her after coming up from his extended bow and looked her straight in the eyes, "My gosh, you are beautiful." He blinked and a brightened smile appeared. "I'm sorry if I'm being too forward, I just have a tendency to say things as they enter my mind."
"Miss Leah?" she asked wonderingly. Hisui had never called her that before, and she wasn't exactly sure why he was starting now. Nevertheless, she ignored it and stood up to shake her head. "It's okay.. I like when horses say what is on their minds."
Hisui looked away, "I call the ones I like Miss... force of habit I guess. If you don't like it I'll stop... not many did anyway.. hence the reason I have no one... I guess there's just something wrong with me." He hung his head.
Leah smiled softly and nudge her muzzle under his so he would look at her. "It's okay... I kind of like it." she said looked at him though her aqua eyes. She nuzzled him closely hoping Hisui wouldn't slip away from her as everyone else in her life had.
Hisui looked at her as his eyes got bright, "I'm not going anywhere." She seemed to have looked a little confused, "You seem to have a look in your eyes that you don't want me to leave and I'm telling yout hat I'm not going anywhere."

It's a love/hate relationship... [ Part 3 ] You're kinda hard headed...
Leah smiled up at him, but then felt a little cautious and it faded. She realised, he didn't know her, or her past, and wouldn't want anything to do with her if he knew, which scared her more than any horse could. She walked past him back into the forest, thinking.
Hisui stopped her once again, "Please don't walk away from me like that." He sighed, What am I doing...? He stepped out of her way, "I understand..." Hisui then ran out of the clearing and deep into the forest. God I'm so stupid!
Leah watched with frantic eyes as Hisui ran from her. I just messed everything up again... she thought to herself. She stepped into the forest and looked around for him. It was dark, though, and he must have blended well, because she could see nothing but trees and their dark shadows around her. She walked further, hoping to find him, until she stopped, hearing a twig crack to her left.
"How could I do that to her? I completely hurt her and it's all my fault!" Hisui yelled as he rammed into a tree. The tree didn't move but it was his way of taking his anger and pain out on something, "I messed all of this up, finally someone who I could see myself with and I messed it up! Err!" He headbutted the tree again and again over and over. "I hate myself. I don't deserve to be happy!" Another ram into the tree and Hisui had blood dripping down his muzzle. "I really don't deserve her! She's too good for me... she needs someone who will treat her right and make her happy.. I can't do that..." Hisui shouted again and he rammed the tree over and over again causing more blood to drip out of his forehead.
Leah began to hear loud 'thuds' after the twig. She turned left and ran, not really knowing where she was going. In a matter of minutes, she found him, bleeding from his head against a tree. "Hisui!" she cried running to him, and hoping to find he wasn't in too bad of shape. "Hisui...." she whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks, as she tried to look for the source of his bleeding head.
Hisui stopped and looked at Leah.. "You weren't supposed to find me.." He dropped to the ground but managed to hold his weight. "I'm sorry about before," he paused and nuzzled her, "I just don't want to lose you... I thought you didn't like me. I know there's things that you aren't telling me and that's ok.. maybe you just need time to sort them out and whatnot." He put his head down.. God my head is pounding. He flicked his mane around and the bleeding spot was right under the part in his mane. A few tears emerged in his eyes and he tried to hold them in, "I feel like an idiot," he said sadly.
Leah put a large leaf against the spot on Hisui's bleeding head and put his hair back over it so it would stick. She nuzzled him, hoping he would be okay. "It's not your fault." she said shaking her head. "It's mine. I don't want to lie to you, but it's like I can't tell you everything somehow..." she whispered and lowered her eyes looking at an imaginary spot on the ground.
Hisui looked at her confused. But then after a few seconds he nodded, "I understand. Something happened that makes it hard for you to talk to others didn't it? You don't have to tell me what it is just yet I understand." He made a slight groan of pain... "Ow... I can't believe that I'm so stupid." Hisui sighed then he nuzzled her, "I'm sorry I hurt you.." he whispered.
"Hurt me?" Leah asked trying to hold back her tears. "You're the one bleeding, not me." she whispered and she looked away. She perked her ears as she heard thunder overhead, and knew it would probably soon be followed by lightning.
"I may be physically hurt, but you are also bleeding," he held a hoof upto her chest, "You are bleeding and hurting right in there." His ears also perked up at the sound of thunder, "You aren't afraid of the storms are you?" He nuzzled her.
Leah looked into Hisui's eyes as her own began to water. She blinked them away and looked back up to the sky trying to ignore what he had first said to her. "No, I'm not afraid of storms...." she whispered quietly up as it began to sprinkle onto them.
Hisui nuzzled her again, "I never actually... thanked you... for... helping me." He looked at the ground and shuffled his hooves, "Thank you." A tear rolled down his cheek before he had to chance to blink it away.
Leah looked back to him through her aqua-teal eyes. "Thank me for what?" she asked, without knowing what he was talking about. She stood without waiting for his answer, pulling the branches of the tree to cover him better as it started to pour. When it looked like he wouldn't be hit she did a few circles laughing, almost dancing in the rain.
"Thank you for taking care of me and making me stop," he laughed as she danced. Hisui wanted to join her in dancing but he didn't think he should. With his head being as bad as it was, he didn't want to risk collapsing and upsetting her. She is really beautiful, he smiled, And my god she has the best smile. Hisui just sat there and watched her.
Leah stopped spinning and walked over to him. She nipped his hair out of the way to look under the leaf at the wound. She was relieved to find that it had stopped bleeding, and had started to dry up. "It looks good." she said smiling down to him and she nuzzled him softly.
Hisui smiled brightly, "You really think its healed?" He stood up and jumped around in the rain. He stopped and then he walked up to her and nuzzled her cheek. He whispered softly in her ear, "You are really beautiful." He smiled and then ran off to where it was pouring, "Come on!" he yelled to her splashing some water on her. For the first time in a long time, he was happy.
Leah laughed as she chased him. "Be careful, it'll rip open again!" she yelled to him. She ran into the clearing and ran around in the rain again as it poured on her. So this is what happiness feels like... she thought to herself as she slowed and could see her own breath in the cool air.
Hisui laughed at her, "I don't care if it rips open, I want to have a little bit of fun." He chuckled again, "And besides, if it does rip open I have you to take care of me again." He laughed again. She sure does look really gorgeous in the rain he ran up to her and nuzzled her gently.

An unexpected encounter and introduction Misu stepped onto the plains, his golden mane blowing as the wind picked up. He walked towards the river, needing a drink after being cooped up in the dark forest for so long. He whipped his tail as he went until he stopped seeing a red and black horse laying on the riverbank. "Are you alright Miss?" he asked curiously.
Saiten looked up at the black stallion with the golden mane now standing next her. She zoned out for a minute and when she zoned back in she said, "Oh, me? Uhh, I'm alright. Just having a little headache that's all." She smiled at him. Wow, he is gorgeous.
Misu nudged her shoulder with his nose. "I know of comething in the forest that can help, if you'd like to come with me to get it, or let me bring it back to you." he said as he eyed her. She seems so sweet. Pretty too. Just look at those markings. he thought to himself.
Saiten blushed, "I'll go with you. Being in the forest alone isn't a good thing. I would know." Saiten got up and walked with this stallion towards the forest, "So tell me, what is your name? I haven't seen you around here before?" She gasped, "Please forgive my manners, my headache is messing me up." She bowed deeply, "My name is Saiten." Wow, he's sweet, he's so cute, and he has a wonderful voice.
Misu stopped and bowed back before continueing. "That's quite alright Saiten. My name is Misu. Behind this forest, there is a mountain range, and beyond that, a deeper darker forest that this one that you are so familiar with. That one is my home." he said looking at her until they reached the forest. Upon entering he began to search for the medicine she needed: aloe and chamomile. He spotted both only a few yars from each other and plucked them, walking back to her. "You need to lay down." he said clearing an area beneath a tree for her.
Saiten's eyes widened and then sparkled, "Misu," she whispered. "You have traveled far just to come here? Why here?" she cocked her head and then lay in the clearing that Misu laid out for her. He has such manners! He's so kind to me and he only just met me. A shudder ran through her during her moment of bishi-ness and she became suddenly alert, I hope Hisui doesn't screw this up. She sighed heavily.
Misu laid down in front of her face and laid the chammomile in front of her nose. "This needs to go in your upper lip, between that and your teeth." he said nosing it into placed after she had opened her mouth. "And as far as my travels, I don't know. I go everywhere, to see the world. There never is anything for me the places I go, so I keep moving." he said making sure the chammomile was close enough so she would breath in it's scent.
"Thank you so much" Saiten said as he was putting the herb where it's supposed to be. "You are very kind." She thought for a moment, "I wish I could just up and go places. Unlike you, I have "adoptive" sons, so to speak. I found them and ever since I've taken care of them, kind of like a mother," she thought of Metsuki and Rakun and wondered how they both were before continuing, "I would have to wait until Rakun can take care of himself. Metsuki ran off for a few days because of everything that's happened." She sighed heavily, "I'm sorry if I'm boring you with my sob story." She smiled and shuffled her hooves on the ground.
Misu smiled at her. "It's not boring. And it's not a sob story if it's your story. I used to have a big family too. Many brothers and sisters. I used to take care of them. But then.. I don't know what happened. One day I just got tired of being the parent, instead of my own, and I left. I've been wandering ever since." he said nosing the chammomile again. "Give it some time and it will work." he said knowingly.
Saiten smiled gently and nuzzled him a thank you. It was starting to kick in (Kind of like my Ibuprofin. XDD) and she felt grateful. "Was it hard for you to find somewhere new and then have to leave it? What are the mountains like? Are they as beautiful as everyone says?" She was so full of questions she didn't even know where to begin. He's been sooo many places, he must have tons of stories to tell.
Misu rose to his feet to get her new chammomile. He knew the scent faded quickly after it was plucked. He put it by her nose again and laid at her feet. "They really are. Especially with the lights going. There are purples and blues and greens and pinks that light up the sky for about a week during the winter. I always return to the mountains to see them." he said remembering them. He also knew that humans called them the Northern Lights. He wasn't sure why, but he knew they were beautiful no matter what they were called.
Saiten looked amazed. She never heard stories of lands other than the edge of the forest. She shuddered again, knowing that HE was in the forest as well suddenly scared her. She shook her head and the feeling with it. "I've heard stories of those lights, I can't remember exactly what I heard them as. But I do know what you are talking about," she started thinking about what the mountains would be like, "Isn't it dangerous to be anywhere but outside of your homeland? You never know what kind of creatures could be out there. There could be anything, you could get killed." There's that word again... killed... just the thought of death or anything like that brought one thing to her mind, Hisui. She began to wonder if he would show up. Saiten sighed again and then she smiled, "It must be so beautiful," she said trying to imagine all of the colors.
Misu watched her carefully and knew she was talking about something specific out there. "Are you okay Saiten?" he asked looking around cautiously. What is she so afraid of? he thought to himself. Suddenly, his ears went back hearing a crack in the woods. He stood, ready to protect Saiten.
Leah came upon the new friends working her way out of the forest. "Oh!" she said almost blushing. "I didn't mean to... I mean I didn't know... " she studdered trying to find the words. "I didn't know anyone was out here." she said as her face turned back to it's normal red-brown colour. "I was just trying to get to the plains." she said looking up at the stallion blocking her path.
"There's this stallion named Hisui, he found me and ever since then I've considered him my brother. He's... well... he's a demon. But he's nice, sometimes. I don't know how he is anymore. I haven't seen him in a while." She shuddered at the sound and closed her eyes, Please, if it's Hisui, be nice to Misu!
Hisui followed Leah and noticed that her path was being blocked by a stallion. He didn't want to lose his temper in front of Leah so he tried to remain calm, "May I ask why you are blocking our path to the plain?" He noticed a dark red tail swishing back and forth, "I know that tail. Saiten? Is that you?"
Saiten peeked out from behind Misu, "Yes it's me," she said dreading the worst. "Please Hisui, don't hurt him... he's not like SeaBiscuit.." She didn't know what to say, but she just didn't want to see anyone get hurt.
"Saiten?" she asked Hisui. "Saiten as in... oh my gosh!" she said happily, going around Misu to get to the mare. "Hisui has told me all about you. You sound as sweet as he says. And don't worry, he wouldn't hurt a fly." she said giggling and looking back at Hisui with a smile.
Misu watched the mare sidestep him and he was left facing a demonic horse and he snorted unapprovingly. He didn't particulary like demons, but he could tolerate them just fine. But something about this one... he seemed to recognise him from somewhere, but he couldn't figure it out. Instead, he simply bowed in respect, knowing if he was too defiant, the horse might get rough with him, and he doubted he would stand a chance.
Saiten looked confused, "Hisui told you about how nice I am?" She looked at Hisui.
Hisui smiled and bowed back to Misu, "You pose no threat to me, you can stand down." He looked at Misu, "Do I know you?"
Saiten tried to stand up and managed to stand alright, "Hisui let me introduce Misu, and visa versa. Misu this is the one that I have been telling you about."
Misu looked at Saiten then back up at Hisui. "I see." he said darkly. He didn't like this stallion anymore, whether he knew him previously or not. He turned back to the mare. "Let's head back to the river. It's getting a little crowded." he said eyeing the couple before turning to leave.
Leah watched this scene and felt a little sad that they seemed to have so much disdain towards her. Once Saiten and Misu were out of earshot, Leah turned to Hisui. "She doesn't really like me, does she." she said, more as a statement than a question. She sighed and laid down amoung the debris on the forest floor.
Saiten looked at both Hisui and Leah and said, "It was a pleasure to meet you. Hisui, you better take care of her." She smiled joyfully and turned to the direction of the river, she turned around suddenly and said, "Thank you Hisui." And then she was off.
Hisui looked at Saiten and nodded then he turned back to Leah, "She does like you, believe me, you'd know if she didn't." He smiled, "I don't think her friend Misu likes me very much. Did you see the way he was eyeing me? Jeez.." he playfully stuck out his tongue, "Now THAT'S a piece of evil if you ask me."
Leah laughed and pranced around Hisui. "Yeah, but face it. Even I look more scary than you do. It's the aqua eyes." she said batting her eyelashes playfully at him. "But I still want to get out and get some sunlight. I bet I can beat you to the river." she said as she scraped her hoof into the dirt before running at her top speed through the trees, heading to the plains.
Misu walked as he ground his teeth. "I would have fought him if he wasn't a demon. Being that, I would have little chance. But he has no right to make you afraid, and you shouldn't be." he said, shaking his head angrily. He looked up to the horse speaking to Saiten and stopped where he stood. "Would you like me to go with you?" he asked looking her in the eyes.
"Don't get your hopes up!" He ran at his top speed and actually managed to run past her. Wow, she's gorgeous when she bats her eyelashes like that. Unaware that his thinking was causing him to slow down, the next thing he knew Leah was already at the river. "Oh wow." He picked up his pace and met her there.
Saiten smiled at him, "I'll explain the story in a bit. But why don't you just stay here, I'll be right back. I promise." Saiten smiled a gentle and beautiful smile at Misu and then turned and looked at SeaBiscuit, "I'm coming!" She trotted up to him, "Yes?"
Tears roll down my face."You don't like me anymore do you not as much as that other stallion you think is cute and better than me."
Leah giggled as he caught up with her. "Well I did, and it looks like you maybe got a little distracted back there?" she said batting her eyelashes deliberatly before lowering her head to drink from the river. She had an evil thought and splashed Hisui from the river before she had second thoughts on it and laughed as water dripped from his mane and nose.
Misu watched Saiten run off to speak to the stallion and waited for her to return.
Saiten looked at SeaBiscuit, "It's difficult to explain. I mean, don't get me wrong, I owe you a lot. But I just don't think that we were meant to be. Please don't get mad at me or anything, but maybe you'll be able to find someone better. Me and you don't have a lot in common. I'm sorry SeaBiscuit." she looked at the ground. "I feel horrible about this but it just seems like me and Misu have more to talk about and more things in common than me and you. You know?"
"What ever ill be left in the cold bye then if were not in common in any way but i care about you but you just don't under stand i guess."Runs off with tears rolling down my face.
Hisui looked at her dripping wet and shook the water off. "Guilty as charged, yes I was distracted." He smiled at her, folding his wings back, "I was distracted by how beautiful you look when you run free and how amazing your smile is."
Saiten hung her head, "Great..." she whispered. She stood there for a moment before heading back over to Misu, "So where were we?" She half smiled.
Ran into the tall grass and yelled."I dont know why i even liked you!!!"
Saiten sighed and lay down on the grass. A tear rolled down her cheek. Nothing hurt her more than the words coming out of his mouth. I tried not to hurt him, I was as nice as I could be... Another tear fell from her eye and landed on a blade of grass and made the blade fall over under its weight. She stared at the ground watching it.
Leah smiled and nuzzled Hisui. "I love you Hisui." she whispered in his ear and her breath caught in her throat after saying it. She meant it with all her heart, but wasn't sure if he felt anything close to the same.
Misu was about to speak until he heard the stallion yelling at Saiten and he glared at him. He looked at Saiten quickly. "Excuse me for a moment Saiten." he said before running off to the stallion. "Look, I don't know what is going on between the two of you, but you must realise that it is HER choice to stay or leave you. Do not make the mistake of trying to guilt trip her into staying or you will have to deal with me." he said angrily towards the stallion. He snorted and turned back, trotting to Saiten.
Tears droped from my eyes and walks up to Saiten."I'm sorry about everything i though you liked me more but i guess not i'll get out of your life and try and find someone else every day i come to see you but i guess i dont have to hurry to see you any more."
Hisui stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes grew wide and they sparkled, So this is what it feels like. His heart had literally stopped beating and for a whole minute or so the world just fell into complete slow motion. He was left with this dumbfounded look on his face, I can't believe this is really it! He managed to come back down to earth in time to say, "Leah, I love you too. And I mean that. I really do." He felt his legs getting shaky underneath him but he nuzzled her before he sank to the ground. His eyes were still sparkling and he was still smiling dumbly but he didn't care. He was happy. I finally know what it feels like to be happy he thought to himself.
Saiten stood up and looked at him, "I don't want anything to happen to either of you. I appreciate everything but I'd rather you both not fight. For my sake, this was all my fault, I shouldn't have led him on like that." Another tear streaked down her face and fell into her mane, "I'm sorry about all of this. But it truly is my fault," she walked over to a tree and hoped that Misu would follow.
Walks away and looks for someone else.
Bela walked around see's the stallion and seeing the mare who upset him.Walks over to the mare."Hello i'm Bela why were you mean to that stallion?"I looks at the tan stallion.
Leah smiled and her heart fluttered and nuzzled him back as she laid down in front of him. He loves me, he loves me! she thought to herself. This is it... she thought and she was smiling so much it made her face hurt a little. A tear streaked her face and she laughed at her getting so emotional over something that made her feel so happy.
Misu glared at the retreating stallion and he snorted at him and the mare who had come to make Saiten feel even worse. "Leave it alone." he growled to her before trotting off after Saiten. "Don't worry about it, if you don't like him, you did the right thing." he said and nuzzled her softly. He hadn't meant it in a more than friendship way, but it made his heart skip a beat so he backed off and shook his head, as if it had an itch.
Hisui looked at her and smiled. He wiped the tear away with his muzzle. "Don't cry. I know you're happy, but don't cry." He at the same time wanted to run across the planet and scream how much he loved her. But he attempted to keep his cool. Hisui still smiled brightly and he nuzzled her. So this is what it really feels like? I love this feeling, I love Leah!. "I love you Leah."
Saiten looked at her, "I didn't mean for any of this to happen!" She took off while Misu spoke to the mare. When he came over to her and actually agreed with her she felt like the whole world lifted from her shoulders, "Finally someone who agrees with me!" She nuzzled him, and then she felt this tension pulling her closer to him, but she, like Misu, backed off.
Leah smiled at him, happy as she had ever been. "I love you too Hisui." she whispered. She felt herself getting sleepy and she laid her haid against Hisui's shoulder and drifted to sleep. I love you Hisui... echoed in her ears as she dreamed.
Misu could see her disdain and blushed slightly. "Well I've got to go... back to my tempa-home. I'll talk to you tomorrow Saiten." he said, nuzzling her softly and then walking into the forest to the place he slept.
Hisui looked at Leah and then nuzzled her gently, "Goodnight my dear." Wow, I've never said that anyone before. It made him feel so whole to finally be able to say that he loved someone. He couldn't sleep, so he lay with her and made sure that she was comfortable. He didn't want to sleep knowing that every second could pass and he could lose her. It only took an instant for someone to be torn away from the one they love. "Not this time," he whisperted. She drifted off into sleep and it was there, that he sat and watched her all that night.
Saiten looked at Misu, "So soon?" She smiled, "I will definately see you tomorrow then?" She watched him as he left and a sudden happiness filled her, Why do I feel this way? She wanted to leap around excitedly but she knew that he might see her, so she kept her cool. Then she walked over to the tree that she normally sleeps at and she fell asleep dreaming of Misu's nuzzle and how good it felt.
When Leah awoke the next morning, she yawned and rubbed her face on her leg. She smiled noticing Hisui was still with her and she nuzzled him. "Morning. You're up early." she said raising to her feet and walking the short distance to the river. Her smile faded as she remembered Triveni being in the forest all alone but shook the feeling and turned to look at Hisui.
Misu woke up beneath the tree in the forest where he always lay. He stretched and shook his head, letting his golden mane fly. He trotted out of the forest, and looked around for Saiten. Unable to see her, he ran as fast as he could, not really going anywhere, just running for the pleasure in it.
Hisui smiled at her, "Good morning. I'm not up yet," he joked around, "I'm not up because I haven't slept." He nuzzled her. Then he cocked his head, "Is there something on your mind?"
Saiten slept under her tree and then awoke to the sounds of hooves beating against the ground. She perked her head up to see Misu running, mane flowing in the wind created by his steps. It was at that moment that she realized that she was staring at him but she didn't move her eyes from him. His mane waved in the wind and it was just another reason Saiten thought to herself, Oh my god, he is so cute. And she just sat there watching him with her jaw dropped.
Misu stopped running, out of breath, and near the end of the river. He stopped to drink, and then ran back along the riverbank, stopping several times to rest. Finially making it back, he saw Saiten and the stallion in the distance and he shook his head. He approached them, nodding to the stallion and then turning to Saiten. "Good morning. Sleep okay?" he asked her.
"SeaBiscuit, we can still hang out and stuff. It's just difficult. We have like nothing in common," she sighed again. Then she saw Misu approaching and smiled, "Good morning, I slept fine. Thank you. Me and SeaBiscuit were just having a little discussion. Anyway, how was your sleep?"
Misa watched her actions carefully before replying. "I slept fine. Just got back from a run." he said. He nodded to the stallion and nudged Saiten to follow as he walked away. Once they were gone, he looked over at her. "You okay?" he asked carefully.
Saiten looked at Misu, "I saw you running," she blushed. When they were away she looked at him, "Yes I'm fine. I'm starting to feel rather bad though, he keeps telling me that he's sorry and I know he doesn't mean to, but he just makes me feel like it's my fault." She sighed, "But then again I guess it kind of is."
Misu stopped where he stood and looked at her. "It's not your fault. Your personalities are simply not compatible, and he needs to understand that and go find someone he is compatible with. And you need to not let him make you feel guilty." he said before he sighed. "Now stop acting so mopey, it's a gorgeous day!" he said as he ran from the edge of the forest, where he had led her, down to the river with a "Woo!!" halfway there. He wanted to stir up some attention to himself, whether he looked insane or not.
Saiten smiled at how happily cheery Misu was, "You're right!" she said with a huff, "It's not anyone's fault." She laughed he ran off and made a fool of himself before joining him in making a fool out of herself as well. I've never done this, everyone's going to look at us and think we are crazy. Oh well!! She trotted happily.
Misu finially slowed, nearing the river and spun himself in circles before becoming a heap on the ground. "Wow, the world's spinning instead of me." he said dizzily. He shook his head and the world seemed to have righted itself and he looked up smiling at her. Wow.... look at that smile. he thought to himself as she neared him.
Saiten ran up to him unable to contain her laughter. Her legs buckled and she rolled around laughing, "Misu, you are so crazy!" She was laughing and she laughed so hard that tears started falling from her eyes, "I haven't this much fun in a while. You ok?" she said as she calmed down a little bit.
Misu laughed more as she fell to his side. "Yeah, I'm great." he said with laugh. "You?" he asked eyeing her to see if she was alright. And that laugh... I could listen to it forever... I've been moving everywhere and I finially think I found somewhere and someone I fit with... he thought as he scratched a nonexsistant itch on his leg with his teeth.
Saiten tried to stop laughing, "Yea.. I'm alright," she said between laughs. He's so sweet!!!! I wonder if he's thinking about leaving soon...
Misu rose again to his feet. "Come on. I want to show you something." he said nudging her with his nose. He trotted circles waiting for her to follow him.
Saiten stood up and said, "I'm coming, I'm coming." She smiled and then followed him, "Where we going?"
"I want to show you something amazing." he said walking down the riverbank. "The river here, is just runoff from the mountains over there. And towards the end of it, if you back up to the mountain you can see the prettiest sunset. You gotta see it." he said as the sunlight faded. Even just walking she's gorgeous... he thought to himself as he stared at her. He accidently tripped over a rock which got him looking forward again and he hoped Saiten hadn't noticed as he recomposed himself.
Saiten smiled excitedly, "Is it far?" she asked. She really didn't care how far it was, she felt like she could walk everywhere and anywhere as long as she was with him. She smiled light-heartedly as Misu tripped and then regained his poise, "You alright? Yes I saw that." She looked at the water, "I've never seen the actual sun set. I've always had some other things on my mind. Around Misu though, she had not a worry in the world, and she was delighted to see a sunset.
Misu laughed slightly at himself. "I'm sorry, I just got.. emm distracted." he said shaking his head. "And yes it's a ways out. That's why I run here every morning to see the sunrise. You should try it!" he said running quickly past her on the shoreline of the river, his mane whipping behind him.
Saiten looked at him and smiled again, "This is amazing. I can't wait. I haven't ran in a long while. I'd probably get hurt if I did." She looked at the ground and kept walking. "Hey Misu can I ask you a question?" before he could answer she asked, "Why did you look at Hisui like he was familiar to you? This question has been on my mind since it happened..." she shuffled her hooves as she walked looking at the ground.
Misu slowed to a stop and looked at her, then shook his head, not so much as a no, more that he didn't want to tell her. "Because we used to live together. You remember how I came from the forest on the other side of the mountains... the mountains next to our forest? He came from there as well. I used to live with demons. That's all that is on the other side. They accepted me as one of their own, but I couldn't so I left the family I had been raised with, but never found anywhere I quite fit in." he explained to her. He lowered his head and pawed at the ground uncertain as to what her reaction might be. Saiten looked at him and sank her head, "I had no idea. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have made you remember that." She shuffled her hoof on the ground kicking a stone into the river, Way to go Saiten, now you've really screwed it up, he's upset. Good job! She sighed, "I'm sorry..."
Misu perked his ears up. "Why are you sorry? I don't care. I left that life for this one, I'm not ashamed of it." he said stepping closer to her. "I mean, it brought me to you. How bad can that be?" he asked looking into his eyes, his seemed to sparkle. Saiten looked at him, directly in his eyes, and hers had a moment of sparkle as well, "I'm sorry about making you remember. I know that you left that life for this, but you have to admit that it hurts. Heck, it hurts me and I haven't even felt it for real." She looked down but some force brought her eyes back up to his, "I'm glad you're here."
Misu smiled hearing this and nuzzled her gently, then nudged her shoulder with his nose. "We gotta hurry or you'll miss it." he said trotting to get her going and then watching her run as he stayed back a little. She's so beautiful when she runs.. he thought to himself before running to catch up with Saiten.
Saiten nuzzled him and then started running, she stopped when she noticed that he wasn't beside her but he was in fact behind her. She looked at him and yelled back, "I don't know where I'm going and you expect me to lead the way!" She threw back her head in laughter and tried to gain a little more speed, her tail and mane blowing beautifully in the wind. She smiled again, Wow, I had forgotten how this feels.
Misu smiled, and picked up his pace until he was at full speed. "I'm coming!" he said as he zipped past her and stopped at the end of the river where you could see the spring at the end of the river, the water's source. He took a drink and then walked up to the 20 foot trail leading to the mountain's flat terrain, where he waited for her. "It's perfect right here." he said to her looking down.
"Oh my!" she said speechless, "It is beautiful up here. You were completely right." She was exhausted so she lay down right next to him and nuzzled him.
Misu lay down next to her and nuzzled her back. "I'm glad you like it." he said watching her instead of the colours the setting sun made on the horizon. This is it... I want to stay here with her forever.. he thought to himself. There was no way he was leaving her side again. He nuzzled her softly again and then watched the sunset with her as she fell asleep on his shoulder.
"This is absolutely gorgeous Misu, thank you so much for bringing me here," she rested on him and watched the sun go down. And as the sun went down, so did her eyelids. She grew incredibly tired and she gave in to the need to sleep. Her eyes shut just as the last ray of sunshine sank away in the horizon. She slept. Soundly. Dreaming of how she never wanted Misu to leave ever again, Misu, don't leave. Don't ever leave me.

A Midnight Standoff Triveni's tail swished angrily as she left Leah and the green demon. Why must she be so stubborn? She knows what demons are like. she thought to herself. Finially she stopped and sighed, looking around realising she didn't have a clue where she was. She had never been so deep into the forest before, and all the light had gone hours ago so she couldn't see the plains. "I bet if that blue demon went to see her, she wouldn't be so protective of her boyfriend." she muttered angrily.*lengthy, whip like tail slashed at the underbrushj as his stepped between the trees. The darkness didn't bother this demon, while others slept he roamed looking for something to eat. Very rare amongst horses was the need to eat meat. But one demonic Stallion found pleasure within the killing and devowering of smaller animals. Raising his dark blue head up from his grounded gaze, Hunter's Moon looked around the trees, the looming abyss of shadows. Nostrils flarring he caught the scent of something... Averting his part thward the scent he soon came upon the muttering mare.* "Well, well, what do we have here? A young filly lost her way?" he mused as a snister grin crossed his face, blue and silver peppered wings remained folded over his back as he paced near quietly around the mare. "Or just someone foolish enough to wander too deep into the den of demons?"Triveni's ears pricked up at the sound of another horses voice, but quickly returned, flattening against her head as she glared at him. "I'm not foolish and I am not afraid of you. So why should I care if demons live here?" she asked snorting at him. Amazingly, she was able to keep her heart going steady instead of hopping around like a rabbit as in their last encounter. It was true, she was not afraid, but she certainly didn't want to die, and knew he could probably kill her if he had wanted.*A cruel chuckle tore free of Hunter's throat as he listened to the mare. His ears remained perked up, his tail whipping about in a playful manner. His lighter blue eyes giving off a slight glow to hem as he paced, cirlcled and drew himself closer to the mare like a wolf would to his prey.* "Oh I think you should be afraid, there's more then just me and that love struck back there. Some more dangrous that I could ever imagine." Voice calm and cool, at times blood chilling, silver flames licked the air about his ankles giving off a small shine in the darkness, the ever deepening abyss it seemed.* "Go any further and you might never come back, then again, why would I care? You're nothing, but a mortal, prey to those of both your kind and those that are not." *Hunter had brought himself almost face to face with the mare, his lighter blue eyes staring, hauntingly into her own. Deep within, silver flames danced wildly as if alive.* "Still wish to proceed any further then where you stand?"Triveni listened to this calmly, but didn't believe a word he said, much less want to hear him say that she was some kind of prey. "Actually, I do. And here's the only thing I have to say to you." she said sidestepping him and then looking back. "If you're going to hurt me, do it, don't stand there talking about it." she said and with a flick of her black tail she walked further into the forest. He's not right. He's the only danger to me out here. Him and the green demon, who wouldn't hurt me since I am Leah's sister. she thought as she walked. Triveni could no longer hear him, so she assumed he remained where he was, but she couldn't help thinking about the fire she saw in his eyes. *Hunter watched her sidestep away from him, a grin crossed his face as his tail had whipped out behind him to possibly pat her flank.* "I wouldn't go too far." He warned not moving, "A dmoness lives in there and don't take too kindly to strangers. It's said she even chases off her own sister." *Musing over everything, Hunter pulled his head close to his own chest and chuckled, nose raising in the air he let out a bone chilling laugh that spooked whatever was over head. Wings opening to their full span, the stallion took to the air and into the night, it seemed that he wasn't interested in the mare... Or perhaps he was, swnging from side to side, Hunter kept back just at teh edge of the mare's scent.* "What are you think?" he mused peeking down at teh trees that blocked the ground. "Not everything is to one's likings."Triveni stopped, suddenly feeling it getting cold and as she breathed, she could see her own breath. She backed up slowly, confused at what had caused the change. She turned and ran as quickly as her legs could carry her, not wanting to find out what exactly it was. She saw a flash overhead, and glared believing it was Hunter, and he was the one trying to freeze her out of the forest. She finially stopped, halfway to the plains, unable to see her breath anymore and hoping the cold was not still following her. Triveni looked upward, glaring. "Nice trick!" she yelled.*Sitting strangely upon a branch over head, Hunter canted his head to oneside as he watched the mare below. Ears perked up a bit as one twitched in light annoyance.* "It's what you get for passing into her domain. " He said with a false frown. "Than again, You deserve teh cold, it woudl suit your... How to say it, your personality." *Grinning he leaned forward slightly upon the branch. With a small cracking sound, the branch in teh demon soon fell to the ground in a small heap.* "Owf." Was all that was heard before Hunter just lay there, eyes half lidded, as if he were glaring up at whomever had shoved him...*Triveni walked to the fallen demon and stood over him. "You are cold-hearted. I'm not. It goes well with you, not me." she said before snorting angrily. As she looked up for a moment, she couldn't help but laugh seeing a small squirrel looking down on them from where the demon was sitting. She wasn't sure if the squirrel could actually push him hard enough for that, but it appeared as if it was him, and she couldnt help but fell over backwards laughing.*From a frowl to grin, Hunter's tail whipped around hoping to snag a hold of one of the mare's legs and pull her closer. His head rising off the ground to look at her, one wing set out an odd angle.* "What teh hell are you laughing at?" he growled before pulling himself back to his hooves and shook the dirt from his coat. The flames about his ankles semed to grow and lick at teh air and everything around them beggig for more to burn. Small flames jutted out from Humter's nostrils as his ears laid back, kicking the tree he knocked whatever ti was out of the tree in determination on killing it before devowering it insight of teh mare, to show her that he'd mean business if she were ever to hurt him.*Triveni looked sad as the demon ate the little squirrel. "Aww, it was just playing!" she said before she started laughing again. "And I was laughing at you." she said as she brought herself to her feet and tried to keep herself from laughing again. "I don't think I asked. What's your name anyways?" she asked him curiously. She still wasn't sure about him, but she didn't want to be rude at the very least.*Blood still dripping from his chin as she snorted and turned away.* "Why would you care?" he snapped as she stepped further away, letting the shadows consume him. "You'd just laugh yout spots off." *His voice sounded a lot different then it had a few moments ago. It had changed to a playful and ammused sound to a depressed and 'I'll kill you if you come near me' sound. *His tail whipping the air making harsh snaps upon the air as he walked on.* "Pesky stupid females. Why did they have to be created." He muttered as the ground where his feet touched seemed scorched, burning leaves, moss and fur of small animals that didn't get away in time soon filled the thick air within the trees.*"Are you even looking at me? I have no spots." she said as she turned in circles as if she was looking for spots on her body somewhere even though she knew they were nonexsistant. She finially fell to the ground dizzily and shook her head to regain her composure. "Besides, names aren't really that funny if you ask me. Horses being pushed out of trees by squirrels, hilarious! Names, not so much." she said stepping around to his front side. "I'm Triveni." she said.*Hunter raised his head high over the mare and snorted as she had stepped in front of him.* "I wasn't push, the branch I was on snapped out from under me. Or were you blind to seeing that?" *Snappy he was, he didn't even hear her announce her own name.* "But if you are so inclined to know, I was scrootenizingly named Hunter's Moon. There you satisfied now." He asid as he snapped mere inches away from her's. "Or is there something else you wish to twist out of me like water from a human cloth?" *Eyes narrowed, Hunter pawed at the ground as his wings opened slightly, his left wing remaining at an odd angle.*Triveni looked at him slightly wide eyed. "Okay I don't have a clue what you just said, except your name. Which kinda fits. I like it." she said nodding approvingly. "At any rate, I still like to think the squirrel pushed you. It makes me giggle." she said laughing slightly. She looked up seeing another squirrel show up to chatter at her and she smiled at it before looking back towards Hunter. "Don't eat this one." she said shortly.*Hunter's eyes had already landed upon the squirrel that had appeared, but soon glared at teh mare again.* "Why not? YOu going to fight for it's meaningless life?" He mused lowering his head. "Plus if you must know everyone calls me Hunter for short, because it's what I do. I hunt, I can't stomach grass like the rest of you day walkers." *Shorting he folded back his wings, wincing as the nearly broken wing folded under his right wing. *What was he thinking going all..... Nice? No he couldn't be going soft, not within his own domain, a small section away from 'hers'.* "If I may ask, what are you doing out here anyways? I didn't think many day walkers roamed the night.""Your life and mine are just as meaningless as that squirrel's if you ask me. And I like the night. I blend in easier. I was out in the forest, however, to see my sister. She's dating the twit of a demon, Hisui." she said shaking her head and pawing the ground. Triveni looked back up seeing him wince in pain over his left wing, which she noticed it was awkward earlier when he opened it, but she made no mention of it until now. "Is there something wrong with that wing?" she asked cautiously trying not to sound rude. She noticed he was easily offended by her.Waking up the young red panda looking teen looked around. She heard yelling and snapping going on near her. Great another night in this place. Aren't I just the lucky one. She thought shaking her head aggrivativly and then stood up. Her ears flickered around for a moment then she headed off towards all the noise to see what was going on. One day she would make it back to the Riverbend herd, but not on this night to much was going on already. "Most demons become twits when they get themselves bound to something they want to care for. I prefer to remain alone so I don't become like that green p***k." He shorted shaking a little dirt from his coat. "As for my wing, I've broken it when I was as you say, 'pushed' off that branch." He huffed stepping to go past her. "Not that you should care, You weren't the one that got hurt."Triveni cautiously stepped towards him. "I can fix it, but it'll hurt. You hurt me in retaliation and I swear I will break the right one as well." she said. She nudged him away from a tree so she could get some room and unfolded the wing. She gently pushed the bones in all the right places to re-align them but each made a loud snap as she did. "It wasn't broken, it was dislocated." she said knowingly. "Give it a few days, and they will fuse back together if you don't take a fall like that again."Yoko came up to the area where the voices could be heard. She looked around a tree to see a demon horse getting his wing fixed. "Psh. He is tough." She muttered to herself in sarcasm before walking on along the tree line. This was a mild night. "Wonder where January is lost at." She thought outloud keeping an ear trained towards the two older horses. *Dislikeing the idea from the start, he was not so easily pushed around. Hissing as his wing was opened he soon snapped it back after the bones were put back into their places. His tail whipped around snapping at teh air near her before settling back behind him.* "Thank you." He muttered gruffly looking around, feeling that there was another there...Triveni nodded and smiled knowing that was the best she would get from him. She heard leaves rustle of another horse who had been eavesdropping on their conversation, and she rushed towards it. "Can I help you with something?" she said looking down on the teen.Yoko looked towards the mare. She snorted in her distaste at having a plan she was thinking up interupted. "No you can't help me. I'm just walking through. Unless this forest belongs to you, leave me alone." Her destination to where she was headed was left unnamed, Yoko didn't think it was the mare's business anyways or the demon horse's either. *Ears twitching at the sounds around them, his tail looped up over his back a little before rolling off and snapping at teh bushes as if thinking someone were sneaking up behind him. Wings still folded upon his back, Hunter took this moment to turn and start walking away. He was done there, there was no need for him to remain.* "You two have fun now." He mused stepping into a shadow where only his silver marking revealed his location. "I'd hate to miss a good 'cat' fight."Triveni glared at the teen. "I don't appriciate being spoken to like that. Quit eavesdropping filly." she said flicking her tail as she walked away to the tree where she had left Hunter only to find that he himself had dissapeared. "Hunter?" she called to him. Hearing no reply she sighed and lay on the ground and dozed slightly.Yoko rolled her eyes towards the mare. "I don't care really." She nieghed. "Suit yourself, the conversation was boring anyways." The teen turned and walked away from the mare who said the stallion's name. She walked away and found the edge of the forest. *Hunter hadn't gone too far, he had come around to where he would have been behind the filly, before shaking his head he stepped back into sight, well halfway...* "Why did you call my name?" he asked lowering his head down to her level. "It's not like we're friends or anything, or is it that you want to become pair bonds?" he asked quarking a brow at Triveni. *He appeared curious as to why she remained there besides the fact that the sun had started to rise outside the forest and it was just about time that he headed back to his thicket to sleep the day away...*"Pair bonds?" she asked raising her head and cocking it to the side. "And if you would like the truth, yes you're my friend. Because I said so." she said obviously not taking no for an answer. "However, if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep. I'm so tired." she said resting her head back onto the soft soil and drifting to sleep.*Hunter shrugged as he stepped past her.* "If you say so, but I wouldn't sleep there, too many daywalkers roam this part." *Shaking his head he wandered back toward his thicket, slipping past teh brambles that scratched at his sides, he lay down in the middle of them. Wings opening for a moment, he curled up into a sort of ball, soon his wings folded again, creating almost a dome like struckter over him to block out the sunlight from the day coming.*

Isabella's golden ears twitched silently where she lay in the grass, much of it seemingly dead. She'd almost decided to live in the mountains where there was no plant life just a few days ago, but she had rejected the idea knowing that if there wasn't any foliage, she would starve. Dark blue eyes closed, and she sighed to herself, trying to ignore the outside world and it's problems, more importantly her problem. Though the vocabulary was still new to her, she knew what she was; a necromancer. Though the word itelf meant little to her, the fact that she was a killer without choice disturbed her greatly, though in reality there was nothing she could do.
She pulled her back legs up closer, curling herself into the smallest area she could upon the ground so as not to hurt any of the other greenery sourrounding her. Her eyes fluttered shut again, trying to will herself to sleep. Though the dreams haunted her at night, at least with her eyes closed it was easier for her to imagine she was a normal mare, perhaps even wingless, but most importantly without blood on her hooves. She finially gave up and got to her feet, though feathery fur that laid over her front hooves wasn't pulled on as it normally was in the tall grass. The sun that shown overhead glinted just right where she had been laying, and she looked over to see her body still lying there, unmoving. Isabella quickly stepped back, looking down at herself and spreading her wings out curiously. She was in two places at once it seemed, though when she looked around, something about this place was different.
"Where am I...?" she whispered, more to herself than anyone else. She ran quickly to the river where she could see her father drinking. "Daddy!" She called to him, he was right in front of her, but it seemed he couldn't hear her. Yelling his name again seemed to do no good, and she finially turned her back on him, looking around with frantic eyes for someone who could possibly help her. A stallion suddenly appeared, emerging from the trees in a most peculiar way... he did not come out of the forest persay but rather through the tree. "You!" she called, spreading her wings and flying to him so she could reach him faster. "Where are we?" she asked breathlessly when she got close enough that she no longer had to yell. Bella landed with a thud upon the ground, uncaring if her flight was clumsy in this... world. The stallion looked back at her curiously. "Why, we're dead, Miss. I've been here for a hundred years. Would you like an escort to show you around?"
Her ebony brow furrowed, not quite understanding. "I can't be dead. My body... it's there! My body is still there!" she cried, looking back to where she could see her quiet 'sleeping' form. The stallion looked confused for a moment, as if processing how that was possible. "Well perhaps you are our guide then. As you can probably tell, we haven't had one for quite some time, and there are a few here older than myself." Isabella took a moment, her thoughts flickering back to what her gram said about her being able to show those who had passed the way out. "I'm in the spirit world..." she finially mumbled to herself, and the stallion seemed pleased with himself as if what he had said caused her to come to this realization.
The stallion continued, "There's an exit somewhere. We're told that only Spirit Guides, those who can walk on the mortal plain and the Spirit Plain as well can find it. This gift is quite rare, which is why, I suppose, I'm still here." Bella nodded, looking around hoping that there would be some door somewhere she could send this stallion to and be done with it, though she saw nothing and finially decided it must be more complicated. "Where can I find the door?" she asked turning back to him, and he grinned at her. "Why, if I knew that, do you think I would still be here?" His voice grew faint, and his body began to glow and shimmer until there was nothing in front of her but trees.
"H...hey! Where are you going?" she called out, looking around only to find she was alone again. Isabella sighed, looking down again, trying to figure out how she might go about finding a secret door that would send whoever went through it to gosh only knows where. She looked back to her body and decided to try that first--getting back to her own world where things seemed at least semi-normal. She trotted back cautiously, looking about as she did for any sort of door. It was hard enough knowing that only she could find it, but she didn't even know of what it looked like. She sighed, looking down at her quiet frame as she laid down inside herself. She sucked in the air, her eyes wide as she came back. When she got her wits back about her, she looked around cautiously making sure no one was looking at her funny, and then she grinned victoriously. "I need to try that again."
