Gillian nodded, slowly scooting his way back to the wall of the house. A slightly pudgey hand pressed against the finely smoothed stone of the house's wall and he began slowly getting himself to a stand, his tail whipping around behind him to help get his balance. Once on his feet he turned to face the girl, walking along the wall to the gate around the flower bed and over to her, "Ai-Hawa mine, big ride her." It was the closest he could come to an explanation. His guardian was quite pleased with how well the child picked up on speaking, he wasn't studdering nearly as much.

"Well, neither of you look to be the size for riding." Mignon managed to tear her eyes away from the foal to turn back to Gillian. She shot him a big smile. "Well, look at you, big guy!" She strode over and sized him up.
"Awww! You have a tail!" She cooed, peering at him.

Gillian nodded, waving his tail about proudly. That's right- he had a tail. Without it he'd probibly be even farther from walking than he was then. It was a handly little thing and it seemed that many of the other children like it. He smiled, slowly reaching a hand out for her. If she wanted to walk with him he'd need to hold onto something to keep him up. It might prove difficult, he was no bigger than a baby doll. Because he had been made up of only half the proper ammount needed to create a child, he was half the size he should have been. Even for a baby he was tiny, his hands were tiny, his feet were tiny. Everything-teeny tiny, but thankfully he cared very little about his stature, at that age it really didn't matter. In his mind he was supposed to be little and the only other infant he'd seen was his sister- and she was just as tiny. "Han." He said softly, reaching for her hand, "I walk wifth han."

Even though Mignon was pretty short for her stage, she had to lean over to reach Gillian's hand. "I have a friend named Yuki that has a tail. It's a little diferent than yours, though. Tails are neat."
"So, little guy, where do you want to go?"

Yuki- he knew him. The older Sin had been so kind to him when they had met, he'd even fallen asleep in the kid's lap after a long day. Another Sin that didn't talk down to him, it felt nice to know that they were friends, "Yuki...", he smiled and chuckled a bit, "Know Yuki alfwo...", He meant to say "also" but that was another word he was having difficulty learning. As far as where he wanted to go, that one was tough as well. "Show you home?" He shrugged a bit, taking her hand and clumsily baby stepping after her, the long tuffed tail lashing about behind him to keep his balance, "Bit home. Flowers... horse, n' waters."

"Yuki's a total doll." Mignon said, grinning. "I love his hair. He let me braid it and put a pretty red bow on it. Matched his eyes a treat." She looked down at Gillian. "The feathers look nice, but I allready said that."
She looked around at everything. "Your flowers are pretty. Just lead me around, little guy."

Yes, Yuki had lovely hair. Gillian adored long hair. Gabriel had told him that in his culture, the length of one's hair was a bit of a status symbol. Nobility could afford to have their hair kept long. Soldiers, servants, and the common folk couldn't really, it would get dirty and become shaggy and underkept. The longest he had informed Gillian about was the hair of the high king of his homeland whose hair dragged on the floor behind him. That was a bit much, perhaps mid-back was just perfect for Gillian's tastes, if he was allowed to grow it out that is.
Shaking his head a bit to clear out the thoughts he began waddling towards one of the larger fountains. A massive addition to the garden, deep as a man was tall and wider than five horses sanding nose to tail. A stone dragon rose out of the water, carved in a finely smoothed out stone. The beast was terribly detailed, but so unlike the common image of a dragon that it was more beautiful than frightning. It's long, graceful neck was curved upwards with the grace of a swan's, it's mouth parted to spout a stream of water upwards a few feet, the water trailing down the outspread fanciful wings. In its front claws it held a large orb that only glittered more as the water added to its splender. Around it had been planted lower plants inbetween four stone paths that led right to the water's edge. Gillian led Mignon right to the edge and pointed in, "Fish!" He smiled.
There were several fish- gold and silver creatures with long flowing tails like ribbons, their scales shimmering in the morning sunlight. The fish didn't have the normal vacent look of the common fish, instead they looked quite intelegent, turning their heads up to eye at those starring right back at them.

Her golden eyes widened at the fountian. It was enormous, gigantic, amazing-
"Beautiful!" She squealed, nearly jumping in delight. Remembering tiny Gillian, though, she managed to pull it into a one legged hop. "Totally awesome, little guy." She leaned down and gave him a smooch on the head. "You definatly landed in a great home."
She leaned closer and peered into the fountian. "Odd fishies. They don't usually look that smart."
